This thing keeps on burning? Must be some Alchemist thing, I always forget those. Seelah stops, drops and rolls to put out the fire.

Ah, thanks. He used a different thing a few rounds ago, then. Seelah moves out of the way so Krenar doesn't get a free shot at both Lem and her at the same time. "Guys, do you have any bright ideas? Let him go and regroup? I can't hit him while he's on the ceiling, but I might be able to grapple him or something."

This is one of the regular smokesticks, right? One that dissipates soon, rather than in five or six turns, right? Seelah aims her bow at the cloud of smoke. "Come on, show your ugly face..." Delay until I can see him in the smoke again. Oh, I also take damage from the thing again. Just a d6, or also alchemist bonuses?
40/40 HP | AC 22, T 10, FF 22 | Fort +6, Ref +1, Will +5| CMB+7, CMD 17 | Init +0 | Perception +1 | Speed: 20 Paladin 4
Seelah hops onto the chair and slashes at Krenar again. Power Attack, Performance, Heroism: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 171d8 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22 Oh, Christ. This combat will never end.

Oh, thought he'd moved out of reach for me. Of course I'd rather swing to the face! Power Attack, Heroism, Performance: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 161d8 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18 Gah, maths is all messed up for me now. To-hit just goes up by 2. Damage is more difficult. 20 STR means 7 damage, Power Attack two-handed is +6, Perform for a +1, for a grand total of +14.

To hell with it, I've had enough of this. ACP of -6, Heroism gives a +2, and a STR of +3, so a -1 in total. Here's hoping it'll work. Climb check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9 "I'm sorry if I smash anything, I'll pay for the Make Whole. This guy's more important than some lab equipment right now."

"Thanks, Lem, I needed that. But now he's too high up for me to hit, can't you try another Hideous Laughter?" Ten feet up means he's in the third square from the bottom, right? Which means I can't hit him. If I can, disregard my attack on the puppet and use it on him. Seelah's eyes flick over to the puppet. "At least I can get rid of this little nuisance..." Power Attack, Heroism and Performance on the puppet: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 271d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
40/40 HP | AC 22, T 10, FF 22 | Fort +6, Ref +1, Will +5| CMB+7, CMD 17 | Init +0 | Perception +1 | Speed: 20 Paladin 4
Throwing a ranged weapon provokes, but I'm not sure if it's only from the target, or from everyone around you. Might be relevant for Droog, although you could make a case for cover from the table. Ready for when I flank with Droogami. "Lini, could you ask Droogami to help me flank? I'm having trouble hitting the guy." Readied Power Attack, with Heroism, Performance, and flank: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 211d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Seelah walks over to where Krenar lies and raises her sword. "I wish we could've negotiated this peacefully, but we can't allow you to continue endangering the inhabitants of this ruin." Power Attack, with Heroism and Performance: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 171d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
He's still prone, right?

"Die, stupid cobra-thing!" Power Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 281d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Should it die, I'll move into the room, preferably up close to Krenar.

"Okay then, looks like we'll do this the old-fashioned way. Frankly, I'm amazed we got this far in the first place." Power Attack on Iron Cobra: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 101d8 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 Again, Power Attack cancels out Heroism. Don't think I missed any more modifiers, right? I have Barkskin on me, but nothing to aid in attack.

"Would human test subjects do? Maybe we can get some prisoners, or beggars to "volunteer" if we reimburse them." Whispering to the rest of the group. Okay, if we go back and ask our superiors for some people, he'll let us through. We file a report, others will clean up after us, and we'll get our test subjects back, hopefully before anything terrible happens. Not sure how much I'm bending the rules here. Feel free to call me on it. Seelah doesn't intend to let these people suffer, and hopes bureaucracy will solve this in her stead.

Well yeah, obviously. On the one hand I want him on trial, but not being bound to the paladin code right now, I don't really care much anymore for justice. If we can negotiate this peacefully, other people can deal with him. Maybe lax as a paladin, but I'm not the only one to dispense justice. ::Just help me out here, if we can talk our way through this, all the better. I'm sure he's responsible for all this, but we could tell that in our report. We don't have to fight, he gets his due course, everyone's happy.::

"Good day. I am Seelah of the Pathfinder Society. We were authorised to clear this dungeon of threats, so that we could explore the deeper levels. My apologies for inconveniencing you, but I promise that we did not know they were under your control. From our point of view, we only dispatched the aggressors we found lurking in these rooms. And not without some loss of our own, I must admit."

I agree with your suggestion (at least, for my action). I'll hit the wounded Goblin. Attack roll on Green: 1d20 + 9 + 2 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 9 + 2 - 2 + 1 = 241d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Again, +9 to hit, Heroism cancels out entanglement. Forgot to factor in performance all this time, d'oh! I'm not good with floating modifiers. "Die, you wretched creature!"

I'm in a bit of a pickle, guys. I'm stuck to the floor, so I can't move. I'm also down to 1 HP: Already had one damage, half of 15 is 7, plus 8 is 16 damage in the first round. Red hit for 7 again, then Purple and Red in the next round for 11 and 5, makes 39 ouf of 40.
Delay for me until I've got a plan, but I'd like to act before the gobbos do.

Hate to say it, but because I lost my connection to Iomedae, I also lose a lot of saves (since I get CHA to everything). I'll update my character writeup to reflect that. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, I think, just being honest. "GRAAH, Iomedae damn you little buggers!" Attack roll on Purply, with Power Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 2 - 2 - 2 = 141d8 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 Normal attack of +9, Power Attack and Heroism cancel each other out, entangled for another -2. See, I do learn! Also, I prefer to write each thing out separately, to see if I missed anything.

Alchemist fire only burns for one round, right? So I shouldn't take damage anymore after this? Fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4 Delay until we have a battle plan. Do we want to rush into the room, or draw them in here?
"Er, guys, this isn't ideal terrain for this. Do we run in there, or fall back so we have a better shot at them?"

Gah, I forgot Inspire, and Heroism as well. Knotted rope next to a wall is DC 0. Taking 10 means I hit 4. Woo! Seelah plonks down next to Kyra. "So, we're back here. Let's finally explore where these auras are coming from." I'm heading for whatever aura Kyra will point out, hopefully with some backup nearby.

Okay, I got a little confused, didn't realise the Spider Climb was on me. Apologies. >_> "Er, well, thanks, I guess," Seelah stammers, not quite sure how to react. Let's hope I can make it up to her by clearing the rest of this dungeon in her name." I feel like this went a little too fast for my tastes, but I understand and respect your decisions, Auke. I guess I can't regain my powers anymore this session, right? Not unless we go back outside and buy an Atonement for me.
