I also recently acquired boon 1 and was wondering if it allows access to the arcane School of the Red Mantis? Besides it being uncommon, I think there is the faction requirement (which I believe is a pre-req of the RMA archetype). Curious what other folks think.

I bring it up because the man was downright rude to several people, which I witnessed over the course about 20 minutes while waiting in line to roll for boons.

Unfortunately, I also observed less than courteous treatment from the boon table.

How many games do sanctioned module chapters and APs sections count as for the GM boon? Most take at least two sessions but a fair amount (like Emerald Spire or the Free RPG Day adventures) can be done in one.

I ran it a few weeks ago with a very focused and effective group -- took 6 hours. We were a little rushed at the end as we were bumping up against another slot. 8 hours (or two 4-hour slots) would have been very comfortable for my group.

1984 - seventh grade, red box (Mentzer).

In seventh grade English class we all did presentations on our hobbies. Two kids - one girl and the other a boy with whom I was friends - each did D&D. I did stamp collecting.

Guess which one I'm still into.

For some reason, I thought it would be more like Choose Your Own Adventures but with dice (kinda like the old Lone Wolf books) -- no idea why.

D&D was a great gateway game for me. I next started playing TSRs Marvel Heroes before I really knew anything about Marvel. Now I've got a basement full of comic long boxes and fairly addicted to Marvel AND Pathfinder.

This just dropped into my account but I'm not going to GenCon this year. Is there an official date when I can run this? For example, could I run it GenCon weekend near my home with other folks who can't go? Thanks in advance!

I really like the Circuit Judge. For one it can be combined with a lot of other Cavalier Archetypes. But what I really love about it is that Sentence (while way less powerful than Challenge) can be used twice as often and thus allows you to utilize your orders challenge ability far more reliably. Thus you can now actually build around an Orders challenge ability such as the Order of the Hammer or the Order of the Seal.

The Circuit ability, while flavorful, seems a bit weak in a lot of campaigns (including PFS) however.

Can you give a brief overview of what it gains and swaps out?
