I'm certain it's been noticed that my posting's been sparse as of late. I'm afraid that if I continue this will keep happening, and probably just get worse. I've tried a few things to keep up (drop games, schedule posting time, etc), but it hasn't helped enough. At this point I'm just dragging things out. So rather than continue on this course I think the most prudent thing for me to do would be to drop the games I'm in.

I do apologize for taking this course of action. I don't like quitting things, which honestly is just as much part of the problem. I've taken on too much, both professionally and personally, and now I'm at that point where everything I'm doing is suffering from it. It's not just here where I've made mistakes and now I need to get things in order. I hope there are no hard feelings but I do understand if there are. Once again, I'm sorry for this.

I'm working on getting caught back up now from my work trip.

I don't have my book in front of me, but as far as rituals go in 4e if I recall, isn't it a feat to be able to cast rituals? I honestly don't recall and will look it up when I get home later tonight.

Safier is amazed at the performance of the ritual, both the openness of which it was performed and at the end result. She considered the power she possessed a curse, herself a monster to be able to summon it. But with that power she took vengeance upon those who killed the ones who took her in. And that power destroyed this orb of great evil. What more could she accomplish with this power? Traveling with these others could teach much.

She turns her attention back to the discussion of Zavox's allies and listens to the talk. She wants to go to Tyr, to find these men, to deal with them as well. But she didn't want to risk too much of what she had gained thus far from these allies. "Did you have something in mind?"

Having remained quiet on the climb out and the travel, Safier is startled at the question at first, but quickly responds thankful for it to be over such a mundane topic. "I...helped out the caravan I was with. I have some training as a merchant and I used those skills to help them along. I learned how to help with the caravan too." She gives a polite laugh, more to hold herself from tearing up. "I'm actually not too bad at it, at least dealing with people. When my mind isn't elsewhere that is. What about all of you? Where are you traveling?"

About the list,
** You have the first +50 titled (11/13/13), but I think it should be +150 on (10/28/13)... I can't find any xp awarded on, or near, 11/13/13 and I can only find one time we were given a +50xp (the one you have on 11/29/13).

Anyway,
If you take that change into account (and if I take the +146 instead of +113) we have the same amount of xp.

Yea, I don't know how that 11/13/13 entry got in there like that. I fixed everything and came out to 3338 as well. Everything in there is also linked to the post awarded, which helps out imo in tracking XP. Thanks for pointing it out!

Map isn't loading well at work today. I swear sometimes it's a crapshoot if google works here or not. I had it up briefly before IE crashed, and it looked like I would be able to Lightning Strike the arms on Jareen, then arc it to the Defiler. If so that's what I would like to do, if not, priority on getting Jareen free. Also crawl forward two squares, please.

A decent idea, but the total concealment prevents me from seeing the defiler. I was hoping to move close enough where I could use the minor eye thing I have to 'see' him, then cast through the concealment, the dice just said no. Plus he's too far for me to blast anyway. Though now that you mention it, I could try to free you guys instead. Let me do that instead of standing then.

I guess about 5000 people were without power Monday in my town, but fortunately I wasn't affected by it. Gotta love the temperature fluctuations. Don't like the weather today, wait until tomorrow.

So far my van's battery has been drained twice now, and it's only 6 months old. I've had everything checked out and it's just the cold sapping it. Where I work we have to maintain temperatures between a certain range, and had to deal with an 80 piece order that they didn't have on pallets, so that was fun trying to have a door open and load it all in before temperatures dropped. Back home they had a pipe freeze and burst, and apparently their homeowners insurance only covers the main pipe, not the one that busted. Driving anywhere is terrible with the iced over roads.

So all in all, not too bad. Work was shut down for one day which gave me a chance to get caught up on quite a few things at home I've been putting off, so I'm focusing on that part of it.
