Inspire Courage is also in effect! Robin moves up next to Cadas to stay within her protective magics, focusing intently on the giant with a giant stone in his hand. "I expected giants to have big balls, but that is ridiculous!" He grins and adds a few gestures, hoping his humor will take hold. Move using Blessing of Fervor. Cast Hideous Laughter on giant bodyguard, Will DC 18.

So I was trying to remember where all my spell slots went, and I remember now that we have a crapton of buffs that I think should last long enough to apply to this battle! Heroism - 100 minutes per person (used 4 2nd level spells)
"Shouldn't you do something besides sit there?" says Robin back to the giant king. Taking a step forward, he babbles some strange words, focusing on the faraway enemies, and hoping to get the enemies to do something really stupid! 5-foot step, Inspire Courage (move action), Confusion targeting Lucrecia and Barl Breakbones, Will DC19.

"Sounds like a plan to me!" says the halfling in approval. "Okay, no more sneaking around so far ahead, Adolina! Better to stick together so we can fight these things together!" Is it correct that Adolina is at full HP, while Shadowlina has 14 damage? Not sure if I can help with Shadowlina.

The halfling is surprised when the captain doesn't charge Adolina, but instead just stands there. He looks to Marcellano and sees that there's magic at work. "Woah, what did you do, Marcy?" says Robin in surprise. "If he's under your control now, maybe we should ask him how he became like this, and if there's any way to change him back."

Robin whispers to the party once more, aided by the Message spell. "Not that I like these creepy hags, but might be better to let them be in charge than their husband-sons. Maybe . . . " He feels the need to ask one more question. "Before we go, there's one thing I don't get. You three were working some sorta magic when we saw you. What was it?"
Inactive
"Eww . . . husband sons, that sounds gross!" Robin holds from further combat for now, though he watches warily for any signs of magic. He sees if his companions also hold off from combat. If they do, he chimes in. "Welp, looks like you bought yourselves a few seconds. Better talk quick!" He waits to see what they have to say.

For Marcellano, my suggestion is to summon a monster that can get rid of the fog. I don't have much experience with summons, though. Is an air elemental of sufficiently high level able to deal with the fog, maybe with the whirlwind ability? Robin just continues to encourage his allies in battle. He's hoping there's a way to deal with this fog.

Oh shoot, I totally missed that it's my turn again! As fog obscures his vision, Robin calls out. "I know you hags are ugly, there's no need to hide it!" Robin inspires his allies in his own way, while stepping forward. "Okay, fine, two can play the hiding game!" Robin casts a spell and touches Marcellano. When he doe so, both Robin and Marcellano disappear from view! 5-foot step, Inspire Courage, Invisibility Sphere on Marcellano.

Oh, apparently I can bring up to 3 people. Let's do this. As it becomes apparent that Adolina has been detected, Robin gets to work. "Everyone hold hands--I'm taking us there using a shortcut!" *Pop* With the aid of some magics, the party heads through a dimensional rift and makes a sudden appearance to the battle! Robin is momentarily too tired to act further. Okay, I popped in. That necessarily ends my action per the Dimension Door spell.

Woohoo! Thank you for that very helpful recap! I totally didn't understand what the dam had to do with anything, but it's definitely interesting to understand that we've been experiencing endless rain! Personally, I'd rather not backtrack to the entry into Hook Mountain. Like you said, I care more about the story and immersion than the combats, and redoing some combats against generic ogres isn't that exciting to me. I've been tracking my stats and spell usage and believe they're accurate. I have no idea how we've been tracking miscellaneous loot. I mostly think we haven't gotten that kind of loot recently. Cadas did get a magical trident that GM Papa ruled was large size. I believe your ruling would be that magic items in general get resized based on their wielder. That would really help Cadas in combat. Is that accurate?

1) The Paradise was a boat that sank. The sinking appears deliberate and is related to some sort of sacrifice, probably associated with sacrificing greedy people. The sihedron rune was cleverly used as a pass to get people on board the boat. 2) I have some clue, but I don't think Robin has any clue. 3) Adopted father. Who I believe we end up rescuing. 4) I don't remember what happened to the Black Arrows we rescued.
