Ok i have to ask....does anyone at Paizo even look at the kickstarter? do you even see what your "partner" is posting to your customer base.
1. Is paizo ok with this?
2. Is Archon ok with this?
3. Your lack of action seems to encourage them to be belligerent to the paizo customer base.
4. I for one due to this blatant disrespect from your "partner" will never purchase a single PF2 item and will for the foreseeable future no longer purchase any Starfinder items till some tangible action and apology happens to this said "Partner"
Note: i wish no ill will on Paizo or Archon but you guys are only as good as the company you keep as they say...and let you tell you one group in your little trinity is dragging you way down and trashing your reps. Uh, I think from what we’ve been shown thus far Paizo is trying to not be partners with ND. They’re juts kinda stuck with em to a certain extent until this gets resolved. Actually quite the opposite, the only things we’ve heard from paizo through this whole endeavor were that they had full confidence in ND and were giving them their full support

Honestly I stopped gming starfinder and pathfinder over this months ago, but still check in to see how bad it is, I never seem to be disappointed...

The sudden closure of the thread and deleting of posts following a paizo supporter’s post suggesting contacting media outlets, legal advice and local governments instead of pestering you has me concerned. If paizo had done nothing wrong on this issue besides make a poor business decision as they claim there would be no reason for these actions.
Please clarify this decision.

And claiming that there are no sculptors in the world capable of doing SciFi miniatures after existing artwork is ridiculous. No one has claimed that. You did, repeatedly, every time you said it was nd or nothing

Are they able to do sci-fantasy miniatures?
ND said yes, but everyone in the business including customers knew: No, not for a while.
The minis they have delivered disagrees with that.
As for everything else, it's what's been stated. Others turned them down or couldn't meet what they were needing, ND promised them they could. So it was ND or nothing. A handful of minis some with melted faces doesn’t say capable of sending out large waves of minis

Themetricsystem wrote: I'm really disappointed at all of these folks who are misdirecting their anger at Paizo, but really not at all surprised.
They hyperbole and venom being slung around here is only going to do 1 thing folks; Discourage REAL communication.
Repeat after me: Paizo is NOT LIABLE for Ninja Divisions problems. They licensed their IP to them so there could be some minis for the system. Paizo doesn't own ND, they don't have an "inside-man" and they're not making money off this Kickstarter with the exception of the one-time payment that was made when they sold the IP rights to the named and likenesses of the creatures to be made.
Additionally, I find is SERIOUSLY ironic that so many folks seem determined to utter destroy NDs reputation and business but at the same time they expect them to be able to follow through with actually delivering the miniatures. It's like trying to burn down the Bakery and picketing/boycotting their flour supplier and at the same time demanding that they fill your order, it just doesn't make a lick of sense.
I love how the pro ND argument is don’t use hyperbole then use it themselves in the same post

Sara Marie wrote: Hey folks, I apologize that I wasn't able to drop the link in the thread as soon as it was posted. Unfortunately the update occurred on a postal holiday when our office was closed.
I noticed that the links posted earlier were not working for me in case you're having the same issue, here is the link: Update #47 posted February 18th.
We appreciate seeing ND provide an update and we continue to encourage them to update their kickstarter backers that the Starfinder Masterclass Kickstarter remains active.
That update says in no uncertain terms we have no money, no way of completing it and spent your money on other things....why are you promoting it as a good sign?

Yes but skill focus and the class based scaling bonuses are both insight which don’t stack, and the envoy who can trade away his insight bonus fo other benefits would then gain another scaling insight bonus to replace it

No minis is better than 1000s of customers out 100s of dollars on something with paizo plasterered all over it, in fact every time they put their logo up it comes right after a significantly bigger paizo logo

Yes but none of this answers the second part of the question does a large creature wearing medium power armour become medium and does a large creature in large power armour use its own arms ?

We've asked Ninja Division to be active on their KickStarter and respond to backer concerns as soon as they have answers for them. Here's what we know about their KickStarter plans:
1.) ND began shipping Wave 1 miniatures right before Memorial Day weekend. We know that some backers received miniatures that hadn't yet fully cured; ND is working on solutions to that now.
2.) ND will continue to send out monthly shipments as they receive new miniatures. This is more aggressive than their May/August/November plans they revealed as part of their KickStarter.
So six weeks without an update after promising them biweekly
Even most us backers who they started to ship to first haven’t received wave 1
After the partial first wave all shipments stopped

Agreed it’s nice to have classes where there is no right way to build so instead of having 50 classes that almost have to be built a certain way we have 7 that can do 100 different builds effectively

Physics wise, I have no idea if lasers could be impaired by mist or smoke clouds, but as a game mechanic it is a fun quirk for the weapon type. Allows tactical variance in combats. Also makes Obscuring Mist a really impressive low level spell.
A Soldier with the Sharpshoot Fighting Style can halve this AC bonus at 1st level. At 9th they can negate it entirely.
Physics-wise, this absolutely happens, but Starfinder doesn't treat lasers as anything like how a laser actually works. One reason the US Navy has been working on useful combat lasers for so long is difficulties getting them to work despite ocean spray.
If you want to more realistically simulate laser weapons, you'll need something like the following, but it may not play well with armor, which is designed to make you harder to hit, not soak damage, which is what it does in the real world:
1) Laser weapons do not take a range increment penalty to ranged to-hit rolls. However, square the range increment penalty and apply it to damage rolls. They have no maximum range (photons have no weight or mass [they do have inertia], so they always treat their environment as zero-g). Count each square containing smoke twice for determining the range penalty to the target.
2) When you make multiple laser weapon attacks against the same target, each subsequent attack can't miss - in fact, they also all go through the same point, making them "dig" through armor. Decide before you attack how many attacks are going against the target. Roll once to hit (taking any penalties for a full attack or etc as appropriate), then if you hit, roll the damage roll for each attack and add them all up, and deliver this as one bigger hit. If the first roll misses, all of the attacks miss (and if it crits, double the entire roll, critting all of them).
3) When you make multiple laser weapon attacks against different targets in one action, you take a damage penalty to every attack you make, as... Can we please stop suggesting homebrew ideas in the rules section

Our first session I had my players find the daughter of a wealthy merchant who he believed fell into a bad crowd and joined a cult. After locating and infiltrating the cult they realized they were all children led by the girl they were looking for. They nearly got themselves killed doing nonlethal damage to not kill the children and destroyed the bone trooper they had summoned and returned the girl alive.
I told them that many people would pay a kings ransom for the ability to raise intelligent undead, they not only destroyed the machinery used but wiped the information from the computers so no one else would find it.

The only rules about close to vacuums for weapons are the zero g ones which only affect range increments so unless you’re house ruling they all work fine

Might I suggest delayed actions? You have to pop out of cover to attack so you can have a trigger of when an enemy pops out of cover you attack him and then he loses his cover bonus

The power core is the most important system on a ship, as it provides power to every other system. The table below lists the ship size each core is designed for, as well as the PCU it provides and its cost. Each Large and smaller ship has room for only a single power core by default, but Medium and Large starships can be fitted with an extra power core housing (see Expansion Bays on page 298). Huge starships can have up to two power cores, Gargantuan starships can have up to three, and Colossal starships can have up to four. Though some ships are exceptions to this standard, they are rare in design. A power core typically has a backup battery system for use in emergencies that can provide limited power—enough for life support, gravity, and comms (see page 430), but no other systems—for 2d6 days.

I’d like the first quote here explained, I can make an npc in starfinder in 3-5 minutes or if I’m lazy just read the stat block and talk up flavour, how is that harder than making a pc for every npc?

The other thing I really don’t understand about the complaints is the 9 spell levels one...you get 6th level spells that are basically equivalent accounting for differences in systems to 9th level spells from your beloved pathfinder....so what does it matter if the same material is split up 6 times or 9 times?
It is my beloved Pathfinder and I don't appreciate the sarcasm.
A few spells got downgraded to 6th level or lower and others disappeared perhaps for space (The entire spell list for each casting class is only 2 pages) or for balance or maybe out of redundancy, or whatever. I'm sure it was done with purpose and thoughtfulness. They're gone and I don't like it and I don't have to pretend I do just because the math still works out. You realize of course that there will be whole books devoted to spells in time, to get you the variety you want it’s just a matter of patience
Or were you expecting the crb to be 2000 pages long?
