I've been out for a years. Looking to participate in GameDay again this year.

Thanks all! Going into the next scenario far more prepared, especially with access to new spells I didn't before. Freaking awesome and can't wait to try them out when I'm of level... if that happens :)

The Mendevian archer knight acknowledges Trajan's request, though also reluctantly looking to the bodies of his fallen Silcer Crusade leaders.

Hey guys, RL has DUMPED a load of responsibilities on my lap the past two days that needs attended to right now. I will get to my post this afternoon, but suffice to say, activating my divine bond on my bow (standard) and laying hands on myself (swift) will be the extent of my turn with the intent of a magic volley next round. You guys at the controls... ya got this!

Re: Temp mod +3, Correct about it being from a previous adventure. I missed it as I've predominately been playing on a phone from work. Sorry I missed that!

Radiarch steadies his aim, aligning his bow for the demon at the control panel, calling on Erastil to smite this all important foe.

From the map it looks like I *could* have line of sight on the demon through the machinery but I will understand if that is deemed a stretch or impossible. Please subtract 4 from my attack roll and move my pawn up the stairs enough for me to hit the punk but not enough to evoke AoO from Big Honkin'.

... and are the stairs near the beast considered rough terrain? Thanks!

Will running past the big beasty at this point cause AoO's? Perhaps the Dimension Door thing is possibly a more sound plan, and I can fire upon the demon at the controls in the meantime, but just need verification. Wow, what a scenario!

Shrugging off the negative energy partially, Radiarch hastens up the stairs to join Doran and Hskoro, hoping this next arrow removes Red from the conflict for good. Hearing his commander's cry for victory, he too joins into the cry, loosing his arrow into the demon. "For Mendev!"

Does Radiarch have a smite left? A paladin's smite allows them to bypass the target's DR if that's what you mean by "punch through."

Of course! Thanks! Easy to miss and forget amidst a list of options, having not played in awhile, and a million other things going on.

With hastened speed, Radiarch runs into the room with nary any time to take in the sight of the machine before him. He takes to the stairs directly behind his allies, praying Erastil would guide his arrows to smite Red where it stands.

Radiarch is an archer; his time right now might be better spent shooting the demon threatening Doran and blocking him from continuing up the stairs.

Fair enough. Best I can do is activate my Divine Bond to turn my bow to a +1 weapon, hoping it can punch through the following turn.

I'm happy to hand off my prisms if a flyer can get them up there first. Otherwise, I'll be spending my newfound speed to race up the stairs as much as I can. I assume I'll stop right behind Doran if so.

Confirmed. I'll forgo action as well, as there's not much I can do right now anyhow it appears.

@Trajan, Thanks for laying that out. So just so I'm clear, I'm rolling two charges in all?

Radiarch will reach over and help apply more Balm of Holy Weapon to Trajan's nodachi.

I feel truly embarassed. I am going back over notes and I can't see how I reached such an outlandish assumption I could run those spells. Truly sorry to waste time on that, but am working to fix that pronto! I was not until tonight privy to either you or Shadow Dragon (Trajan)'s PMs sent over the weekend until just now. I had my email notifications shut off so I was oblivious to them.

@Shadow Dragon - Thank you for reaching out. I think I'll take you up on that offer to help apply more of the Balm of Holy Weapon on yours to finish out the fight.

Radiarch casts daybreak arrow on his entire quiver of remaining arrows, draws one, then prepares for another attack.

This would not be a ready action, but my next turn I'll likely do that if shade is still up. daybreak arrow's duration countdown begins now at 50 minutes (10m/level).

You can only crit an incorporeal with Ghost Touch - but Holy Weapon Balm on a magic weapon is also effective.

Noted! I keep meaning to equip Radiarch with more tools of the trade for stuff like this, but I get lazy until time. I've got the gold to burn. Just need to hunker down and do it!

Radiarch moves towards the doorway of the small room, equipping another arrow.
He'll fire again with a standard arrow if the cowardly shade is still visible. Otherwise he'll proceed to the larger room with the group with a full move action, regardless if he attacks or not.

arrow damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

As before, Radiarch readies a shot if the shade reappears, providing cover for everyone as they move back into the larger room.

Radiarch comes to, wincing at his failure to avoid distraction whether his own fault or not. He prays he has enough time to fire a significant enough shot against such an adversary, casting divine arrow as he moves into the doorway.

Sorry, I need clarity on one thing as creatures have moved on the map before I was able to see, so piecing the action together based on what's written thus far. The creature straight across from me in the other room by itself... has it done anything yet or have we just been fighting the shade that's currently next to Trajan and Salazar?

Radiarch finds confidence in his own armnament, readying himself for any comfrontation they may face in the rooms to follow while ensuring the others feel ready.

No offense but it needs to go to Vosk. He asked for it first and he should get it since he's the only wizard, and best Knowledge skilled PC, the party has. Radiarch can lay on hands if he gets hit with fire damage like Trajan can.

Radiarch will accept and ingest the other Resist Fire. He's got some celestial protection against other elements, but not that one.

Radiarch will join Trajan in examining the religious artifacts to glean any helpful information.

The divine hunter readies his bow in preparation for the next door to open, praying silently to Erastil to guide their path. He observes the door or potentially any dangers from behind it.

Radiarch smiles in respect for the Iomedaen to get through his recitation, while trying not to roll his eyes too.

"Deciphering these numbers is tricky though for sure. I am a mere field servant of the Elk Father, but allow me to take a moment to recall where my studies overlapped."

Radiarch removes his pack and pulls out his copy of Parables of Erastil to help jog his memory to assist if any dates or context with allied deities, including Iomedae, may of lined up. While he rummaged through his bag, he saw the Silver Crusade imprint on some of his gear, recalling his studies for membership as well.

Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (14) + (3) + 7 = 24

He'll glean any information he can and share with the party.

Radiarch follows suit, walking around the named trap, peering around the corner.

@GM Should you find I'm a bit lax on posting my turn/actions, do feel free to bot me to keep things moving. I do not want my current circumstances/schedule slowing the game down. This week, I'm helping fill in for a sick coworker, so things are a bit wilder than normal.
