Some adjustments to be made beyond the Level 1 plan. Very interesting to play with that option!
Here's a Champion. This concept might test your RP guidelines (Strix are 16 RP, but some GMs prefer not to run them because of flight). If you don't, I'll try to get a Battle Herald/Marshal up instead.

I've got a character I'd love to submit for this: a kobold cavalier riding a slurk. LOL, there it is. A concept that pushes the envelope more than mine. Here is my submission - Quylle, a strix zen archer qinggong monk.

Alice, I've made some adjustments to Quylle to fit your guidelines, including downgrading flight to glide with a couple small adjustments to her story. Let me know what you think.

After spending a good amount of time with Quylle today, I'm thinking everything fits together better with her as a Slayer with the dual path of Champion and Trickster. I didn't see her as a spellcaster and the Slayer is a better fit than the Ranger (Skirmisher). It helps mold the aerial scout role much better, especially when the Mythic Tiers emerge. No change to the Stolen Fury Seed of a Myth. I've kept the sheet (spoilered) for the Ranger (Skirmisher) in case you'd prefer not to use ACG classes. Either way, she fits best in the martial (ranged) bucket more than the skilled bucket.
Yes, it appears any posts or profile updates that were made yesterday and possibly going back to sometime on Friday are gone. There is a post here from Gary about the problem although it doesn't specifically call out how far back the issues go or if there is any chance of getting some of it back. I've made a number of updates to my profile and I'm definitely keeping them in a Google doc too, just in case :)
I had the same challenge and went with a male dhampir for a female strix. The skin isn't quite dark enough, but I like it better than the female strix :) Even with the continually expanding options its still a challenge! BTW, for Rikash's list, Quylle with probably be dual path with Champion as part of that and she is definitely Stolen Fury.
michaelane here. Went a very different direction than I thought I would. Here's Quylle. A strix ranger from the Cheliax coast who isn't sure whether the demons are really worse than the humans. More to come. |
