This is just not the game I thought the people at piazo would build plus the grass still sucks. So I have one DT account with twice marked of pherasma(however you spell that) a wiz(human) and a crafter(elf) geared towards wizard stuff with a crap ton of teir 1 recipes he can make +3 wands and staffs. The EE account went dis active on the 1st of April the character on that is a dwarf fighter cleric that can take on two oger's easy as pie.

This may seem like a pie in the sky notion but pie in the sky notions that succeed are called groundbreaking events. Ryan has a bit of a history of bringing companies together for a mutually beneficial outcome(WOTC saving D&D). This UE4 demo is 100 square miles of rolling hills forests lakes and you guessed it GRASS(in fact it has a special grass script relating the grass composition/dispersion to the textures). What if Ryan had a meeting with the Leads on this project with the simple question what could UE4 do for PFO? Method: I attacked the same bandit with the spell wilting surge documented the dmg number and ran rinse and repeat on SAME BANDIT. I did this for 10 data points. I have wilting surge trained to 3.

The +0 has one matching keyword. The diminishing +2 has 3 matching keywords. This seem's like maybe there is a bug for staff dmg.

PFO is to Pathfinder what 4ED is to 3.5 D&D. I understand the resoning for this regarding the open game licence and digital content. I was just pissed off enough to state the obvious after dying several times tonight due to my sh%^y spells and the amazing logic of my character defaulting to walk as a first response to the end of his equally stupid rooting timer. Wonderfully it's almost impossible to discern if I am running or walking slowly due to some effect so I inevitably hit the button again because even after triggering energetic feild it sure don'[t look like im running yet OOOPS I was running oh again. WOW this game is actually the low point of my day and 350$ later I have some idiot hope that I will some how be able to enjoy this. First you give the "glass cannon class" the weakest dps in game then you root me then you destroy my ability to run away energetic field because other classes are abusing it as a fast travel then you ruin my AOE spell(and lets face it there was only one if were honest). So yeah there ya go you fkn 4ED'd Pathfinder Congrats team. I figured you of all people would have a clue that people liked 3.5 because of the class DIFFERENCES In direction role and dynamic.

What would make it fun to play a wizard in PFO? Wizards in PFO cannot be described as a glass cannon in terms of dps and certainly not in AOE damga as that has just been severely nerfed. I have tried group play with a wizard but feel i cannot contribute much to the party with such low dps. The duration of conditional effects and their over all efficaciousy makes it hard to tell if they are doing anything at all. I hit an oger with a stun 3/4 of the time it seams to do nothing and once in a while they stop or run the other way but I have no Idea if this is my cantrip effect or some kind of bug as I have had the same thing happen when casting a cantrip with no conditional effects. If I am there to do minimal DPS and cast one buff on the party before engaging in combat doesn't that just make me a crappy cleric that cannot heal and has less armor. What should the role of wizards be in PFO? What will make prospective players want to play them?

Is there a known bug with crafting achievements? I have made over 300 lesser vitals and over 100 lesser vital +1's as well as hundreds of numinous and consonants. Despite this I cannot get the gem cutter 3 feat with the prerequisite of (tier 1, common +0). Thought's?

What I said. There are a number of people who pretty much just talk crap without any logical arguments everything I suggest to try and improve this game. If we could mutually block each other this forum would be far more productive.

My health was damaged by some wolves and it wont go back up now for several minutes still waiting as i write this.. ok 10 minutes later it came back after traveling through several hexes

What do people subsist on in this world I have yet to see a farm on the croplands or a cow or a deer. What the hell are we eating?!?!?!? Is that where all the good grass went?

Not all divine attacks provoke opportunity. In fact there are plenty of divine attacks that do not even root the castor according to the list. I am strongly against nerfing. What I suggest is that ALL melee range feats should neither provoke opportunity or be rooted(though I don't think anything should be rooted except someone on the receiving end of a web spell or bola to the legs).

Some of the resource nodes look nice excellent mushroom. Some of the buildings are skyrim level quality. The pin on the map/minimap is useful. Some of the trees look good.

Up from the turgid depths of luminous green mists rose the orb. Eyes on leathery stalks writhing preditoraly scouring every crevice and crook in the hall. A wild glint in his eyes Vernoth took a great gulp from the glass vile before lunging with blurring speed into a crazed sprint. Closing with the beast and leaping past eye beams blasting all the way. Now safely behind the creature it's vulnerable hind exposed Vernoth rained down axe hell. The ancient orb now a wet mess of dead staring eyes falling to the depths to see nothing again.

That fight took place in DDO. Bring me a fight like that in a sandbox please.

4 and 8 second duration tokens/potions are complete garbage especially in a game with the most clumsy combat control input and event stacking I have ever seen. These effects should last a minimum of 20 seconds and many should last several minutes. Alternately you could just rename them ALL to token of semi uselessness.

Right now in the game as it is what specific actions are considered by GW to be greifing? To be clear I don't mean a general description of greifing behavior. I mean specific actions that a player can do in game right now that they should not do.

Movement should interrupt casting instead of casting interrupting movement. This is a glaringly obvious mistake. Please don't tell me you cannot code this I would be very disappointed.

In my travels I happen upon a goblin shaman and an alpha wolf. I get maximum spell distance away and start blasting the goblin shaman by the time he is down the alpha wolf has closed the distance between us. I attempt to target the alpha wolf instead I toggle through 4 resource nodes and die. This sort of thing where clumsy targeting gets my char killed is the top reason for my character dying. The second reason is that I find myself spamming a spell to make sure the server knows I keyed the spell as when I wait for the animation to end then press the key once there is often no effect. All of this combined with being rooted in place often still casting a spell at a dead enemy makes this barley playable. Now I hate complaining without giving any solutions but since I have no clue why there is so much inconsistency with keys and server side actions im just going to bring it to your attention incase you don't know. As for the rooting in place wouldn't it make more sense to allow fluid movement but have movement interrupt casting?

Would some experts consider making walkthrough video's when we get the last build before EE? I was thinking one for a crafter, melee, caster, healer and maby a ranger/archer. So 4 in total taken through the first half hour of play or so in the most efficient manner. Thought's?................................. and FIX THE GRASS

Procedural generation of content from Rocks and plants to monsters dungeons and even factions can lower the workload for artists while making game play/grind less monotonous.

For example since PFO will at some point offer a standard mmo character customization feature. Why not have such a system with thresholds for eye/body/hair type for goblins and other monsters so each is unique. An even simpler system could be added for trees and other scenery/crafting resources. If a resource is harvested a brand new similar yet unique tree/plant/deposit could be spawned somewhere else in the world.

Pretty much what the title says. A secondary targeting system for friendlies/party members. Great for clerics casters bards and pet controllers. This would make the game better and couldn't be that hard to implement?

In the past year I am curious which aspects of pfo have taken the most time to develop. Is there a manifest of hours spent on graphics/server mech/game mech/etc? Have there been any major difficulties and if so how were they overcome?

Hey you should list exceptions to the launcher's file congruity checker on the server ie client specific setting's because otherwise it's just going to keep resting the file. To change my key's I now need to keep a spare copy of the key bindings file and swap it in after the launcher has completed it's check.

Looking at the tool tips for a few spells of level 1 and then the level 2 version of the same spell has me confused as to the benefit of the level 2 spells over the level 1 spells. Neither the damage modifier or any other aspect of the spell is different between the level 1 and 2?

In most games if you have seen 10 houses, inns, shops, etc, you`ve seen them all. Even sandbox games like eve online if you see 10 different station types or POS`s that`s all there is to see. While this is easy on the art budget it detracts from the immersion of locations that ought to be a little or alot different then each other. I see a problem with allowing players to develop their own building`s constantly as well. Player supermegadeadly103 might decide to build a mc`donalds complete with golden arches for kicks.... Not so good for immersion. Player big_pimper might build a wizards tower that`s rather phallic though some might be ok with that if its artful lol. Then there are players that would build very half assed ugly buildings for who knows why. My solution would be a well designed building generator/modeler and structure submission system. Structures would be built from pre generated construction parts bricks posts beams thatching and so on. Of course the more parts people have to work with the better. Though parts may be area specific. Blue slate may need to be gathered in a specific region for example. A caravan may need to be hired to transport the material. To be eligible to customize a building the prefab building must remain undestroyed and under the same ownership for a given time period for example. After this time period has passed the owner of the structure may develop and submit a custom version of the structure giving the area a unique flavor. Players will feel an even greater desire to protect these creations adding to the game dynamic as a whole. Thought`s?
