Having traversed the new portal in the Maze of the Open Road, it is time to convene around the massive hearth fire in the center of the fledgling Port Valen lodge.
The request by Venture-Captain Norden Balentiir was short and to-the-point. You are to head to the Sandswept Hall, the Pathfinder lodge in the Osirian capital of Sothis.
Start Date: January 29, 2025 (or as soon as I have four players, whichever is later.)
Recruiting: First posted, first seated. I will be using RPGChronicles as the sign-up list. See post below.
Game Expectations: I ask for a posting rate of a minimum of once per day during the business week and at least once over the weekend, though I realize (and expect) that real life can get in the way of fun at times and that not all players will be able to meet that pace. I expect folks to occasionally be unavailable for a period of time. If I know that I will be unavailable for some reason for more than 24 hours (or 48 over a weekend), I will post such. I request and expect all players to do the same.
I reserve the right to bot players who do not post anything within a 24-hour period and will request each player have botting instructions in place before the end of the first briefing.
Once you have filled out the sign-in sheet for recruiting on RPGChronicles (see post below), please provide the following, then feel free to post in the Gameplay thread.
PFS:
1) Character name:
2) Have you played or GM'd this quest before?
3) If you wish, Earn Income with roll (Please note any special boons/notes):
I anticipate that this table will be filled by those players, but feel free to post the requested information below to be considered for a seat should a spot open up:
1) Character name:
2) PFS#-Character#:
3) Character Class & Level:
4) Faction:
5) Day Job (with roll):
6) Any other downtime activities:
7) Fast track or slow track:
8) Have you played or GM'd this scenario before?
9) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know?
A group of Pathfinders receive a summons bidding them to head to the Sandswept Hall, the Pathfinder Lodge in Sothis. It would seem that Venture-Captain Norden Balentiir wishes to briefs them in person for an upcoming mission.
This is the Discussion thread for the table of Bounty #12 for GM School. Pathfinder Bounty #12 is designed for 1st-level characters, so each of you will need to bring a PFS legal character to play at the table.
This is the Discussion thread for the table of Bounty #12 for GM School.
This Pathfinder Bounty is designed for 1st-level characters and each of you will need to select or create a legal PFS character to play in this adventure.
I selected this bounty because it has a number of elements that I have found that can be particularly challenging and/or interesting in PbP, including: 1) exploration, 2) a dungeon crawl, 3) an interactive NPC, 4) randomized elements, 5) multiple combat encounters, 6) multiple hazards, 7) opportunities to add additional world lore, and 8) instances requiring GM discretion.
I will be running this scenario a bit differently than I usually do, in order to sort of "pull back the GM screen" and showing the decision making processes for GMs.
Welcome, everyone! This is the Gameplay thread for campaign where I'll be running a table of Bounty #12 as part of GM School. Please dot and delete. You will find further prompts in the Discussion thread.
Per the request of Valais Durant of the Radiant Oath, you have each booked passage aboard the merchant vessel, The Merry Mayfly. Now, you find yourselves admidst the waters of the Steaming Sea outside of sight of the coast of Varisia.
As place for out-of-character discussion. As this scenario has the starship tag, it would be a good idea to discuss starship role selection here prior to the start of the game.
A message from the networked entity, Guidance, requests your presence at the Lorespire Complex on Absalom Station. Guidance is comprised of the personalities of prominent former Starfinder Society members, including the majority of First Seekers and other agents with which they allied along the way.

Welcome! Please go ahead and make character introductions. Then, I will move us along to the secretive rendez-vous and the opening brief.

Start Date: December 5, 2023 or once I have four players, whichever is later.
Seating:
Seats have been reserved for the PCs of the following:
Qstor phaeton_nz cmlobue
Otherwise, up to three remaining seats will be assigned on a first post, first seated basis by posting here on RPGChronicles. Once you have posted on RPGChronicles, please "dot and delete" or post your PC introduction in the Gameplay thread and starship role preferences in the Discussion Thread.
The three reserve players are also asked to post their information at the above link and post in the Gameplay Thread as well.
Game Expectations
I generally ask for a posting rate of a minimum of once per day during the business week, but with my family and the kids' schools preparing for the approaching holidays, I anticipate that my posting rate may not be as frequent, particularly during the final two weeks of the year. Nevertheless, I reserve the right to bot players who do not post anything within a 24 hour period and will request each player have botting instructions in place before the end of the first briefing.
If this game sounds like something you'd be interested in, go ahead and post at the link above. If you have NOT played this scenario before, please leave a post below so indicating.

Anthalusian Quest:
Here is Cimrôdel's full spell list with bolded spell names:
Cimrôdel, a native of Magnimar, has not been back to his home city for nearly 20 years. Shortly after his majority, he joined the Pathfinder Society, and was immediately sent off to the Grand Lodge in Absalom, where he has worked for nearly two decades cataloging the reports and travels of other Agents. He recently has determined a desire in himself to become a Field Agent, and so he has applied for, and been assigned a position back in Magnimar where his talents can, hopefully, be put to use.
