I wanted to know if you wanted me to include anything in my post for the players but for now this should suffice... I feel like she needs to be everywhere, and if that is not possible, perhaps she can gain a flock who can.

To All,

My paths need to take me elsewhere. It is not my choice to decide, but sometimes the four have plans for us that we may never truly understand. I wish for you to know that I will be supporting you as best as I can, my prayers will be for you every day. I know Moon is a terrible foe, but there is more to this than just him. There is a terrible miasma in the air, something akin to what happened to Sky and it draws me.

What needs to happen is for el to be united. I know on paper this is a fool's errand but if I can hold in my heart these conflicting ideas, I know that others can as well. I do not ask you for forgiveness in these times of need, for I don't believe I am doing wrong, but I ask for your understanding.

This is more than what a single polearm can deal with, even if it is wielded with truth and justice.

I will hopefully come back at a later date, my life has recently given me new purpose, a drive. Where can water flow when the world is on fire? It can spread. It can make the ground wet so the flames can't grow. It can make the air thick to provide coolness to those burnt.

When you reach a crossroads, I just ask that you be like water in all things. Be flexible, be understanding, be adaptable. Our world relies on it.

I'll be honest, as much as I like this I don't think I can give you all the energy and time that the rest of the party is putting in. I can barely keep 1 or 2 posts a day like I used to and every time I return its like the entire world has moved around.

I'm unsure how to continue past this point (just from a formality perspective), but I don't feel its fair when I can barely put the agreed upon posts in. The last year has been really exhausting for me and while I enjoy PBP, its starting to feel less and less like a fun writing exercise for me.

I'm willing to hang out for a bit until you can course correct without me, find a replacement, or whatever you like, but I think ultimately I'll have to step out of this.

Thank you for the opportunity to hop in and try something very different and play in your world.

How much did they believe in the words they said? Puppets for the gods? She shook her head, No that can't be true. I am a servant but I have a choice. There's always a choice.

The undine decides to say nothing of the matter and to see if Abnaki's gambit would pay off, should he fail though she would try a gentler way, and should that fail there was always yet another.

While it looks like a puzzlebox, there is more than one solution unlike one.

She moves down to face eye to eye with the captive, "If you say the world is ending, perhaps we can discuss why and how. You have nothing to fear if it is right? If your faith is that strong it shouldn't shake you to speak with us."

Phon dispels the dream from her mind for the time being, there was much to be done. Moving through the camp, she looked and saw revelry, unsure as to when it happened. I should have heard it...? What exactly happened last night to me?

Dispelling the night and the dreams would require more focus. With a gauntleted hand she offered a prayer to the pantheon, looking at each digit and what the hand could do when they all worked together. Finishing her mental focus, the warpriest moved toward the tent.

"It seems they survived the night." Phon kept her armour on, but left the helmet hanging at her side, "Samen, I hope Abnaki doesn't hear you, you would hate to be on his bad side. There was a time when him and I got into some trouble with the commander and..." She laughs, a first for the undine in a while, and it was refreshing like a waterfall's mist. "Nevermind, Abnkaki would tell the story better than I anyway."

She looked at Gabriel and swore that she saw the light bend around him, "You and I need to really talk later, so perhaps I will accompany you once we are done this interrogation."

Okay so where am I right now? Otherwise I might do something at night here to advance Phon's character...

The spell of truth sat in her hands, and the talk from Gabriel awoke memories of her beloved. It had been a hard few days, dealing with Moon and all of the revelations that were coming at her.

She had wondered about this ability to bring those back from the dead. She wondered if it was possible, and like some divine providence she was given the tools to do so. The undine had known much in her time, but this knowledge seemed forbidden... and in some ways worse than some of the alternatives.

I would be a fool to let Hien stay dead... But is he even alive? Would he want such a black existence?

Phon stared at the hand in front of her, taking the gauntlet off to get a better look. It wasn't outside the realm, she could learn the truth about the profane ritual... She shook her head.

The gods have given me their blessing. I can't just forsake them for this. This truth... Clasping her locket, she took a breath, "I need to let you go, you're gone and this temptation will never bring you back. This temptation is nothing but trouble for my faith."

She held the hand up in front of her face and placed it on her chest, "I wish to know the truth... Will I be able to heal without him? Will I be able to move forward?"

She discharged the spell and hoped to know what her future held.

Phon breathes heavily after being slammed into by the golem, and eventually catches her breath. She was happy this place was full of thick, watery air.

"You need to be who you are Gabriel. I wouldn't trust anyone with altering your inherent being." That's all she was going to say on the matter for now, it didn't seem important while Gabriel held some information about her cousin.

"Either way Samen, you think this blasphemous process will actually work? I don't know how to feel about it, nor do I know how the gods feel about me pursuing it." She lets the words linger, hoping for some kind of divine providence, but she knew not to expect it. "Theoretically, if you were right, how would we even go around to doing it? I'm not the most adept at putting together magic, only taking it apart."

Sorry holidays and hospitals are slowing me down a lot. Its becoming difficult to keep up.

Phon didn't know how to answer Gabriel, "I have a cousin... But there was no scar last I saw them." She knew enough to know that whatever pull was in her blood, it may have claimed another, "We can handle it later, but I wonder what mess they got in. We have a... History with the dark."

It takes a moment for her to hear Samen shouting, and to remember where she was, though such a word wasn't exactly true here.

"I tried to deal with the fog but I was met with unspeakable agony from it. I would not recommend it to the untrained." She was still in shock from everything happening all at once, "I have some rope Abnaki."

She gets to work, though her armour prevents her from moving dexterously at all.

Yeah I'll take the lead, it makes the most sense between the swim speed, perception score, and blindsense.

Unsure whether or not I will prepare anything particularly new, might go with a Prayer at 3rd, Shield Other at 2. I'll have better mobility and self-healing incase anything bad happens near water. I've built Phon as a toolbox, she really doesn't need spells to fight in combat, though they're nice.

"Whatever hold it is Abnaki, it wouldn't matter if this city were to collapse into chaos." Or worse. She didn't want to say that part out loud but she was certain they all felt it.

The undine moves into the sewer and quickly tests the water. Is it clear? Contaminated? Breathable for aquatic creatures?

Amphibious: Some undines are born with a permanent bond to water. Undines with this racial trait gain the aquatic subtype and amphibious special quality. This racial trait replaces the spell-like ability racial trait.

Water Sense: Undines with this racial trait can sense vibrations in water, granting them blindsense 30 feet against creatures in contact with the same body of water. This racial trait replaces energy resistance.

Phon is capable of focusing. She was made of sterner stuff than she lets on at times, and now knowing what she knows, realizes that. The bubbling feeling running up her hand was easy enough to stifle, years of training and internal strife made sure of that.

"I'm fine Abnaki, just a blessing that I was given. I still am figuring out what to do with such a 'gift', if it even is one." It's only partially a lie, and anyone would know she is putting up an act, albeit a poor one.

Before she has a chance to respond to Gabriel however, he vanishes. To speak with me? Perhaps he wants to discuss whatever shadow is lurking over him. I will absolutely make time.

The undine hears discussion about music and the sewers and leaves it to the skalds, however she straightens up and listens in as best she can. "Look, I don't know you but upon all of the Pantheon Alive and Dead, I will vouch for Abnaki. This information is a matter of life and death for many."

Diplomacy (Aid Another): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 I'm going to assume Abnaki's Diplomacy score is far better than mine.

All Warpriest things increased by 1 (Sacred Weapon / Armor uses).

Leveled up some skills (I will always be leveling Perception, Sense Motive, Spellcraft and P: Scribe), mainly focusing on some K: Religion (even though I can use touch to offset the bad skill ranks) and rounded off Charisma even though the (Disenchanter) Warpriest doesn't really use it.

This is a good time to mention that I still have a free language open from Cosmopolitan, what can I take? I know the 4 major elemental languages. As well for flavour, if you want to give me a Sacred Weapon for a pantheon, let me know so I can mark it down, Warpriests technically are proficient with their deities' weapons.

Phon steps back, "Krz." She is wary of the entity, there was no reason for her to trust it.

The cold nature of her warpriest training comes out, she wasn't ready to take chances if anything were to go bad.

Samen and his smoke, Gabriel and being shadowtouched, now this?
