I want to say I'm sorry due to extenuating circumstances that were not foreseen I wont be able to play any Pbp for about 2-3 months. in another week I will have to stop. so I decided it would be better letting people know now than continue posting. I take my obligations seriously and am not the type of person that will just drop without at least trying to explain. those that didn't know I was a stay at home husband so I had a lot of free time on my plate however me and my wife bought a house dirt cheep as a investment and I need to renovate it before we move in top to bottom. I have done this before, because if you can, sweat equity is the best (my father was a custom home builder/contractor so I can redo anything in a house). because I've been through this before I know what is involved and I will not have the time or the inclination (even though its for fun) to get on when I will be dead tired. I have met many really awesome people in these forums and I am grateful to meet all of you and playing with you. I hope to see you all again in a few months when things calm down.

Paullo listens to the group, not much of a talker. He is much more introspective.

"I will be glad to help where I can, however just so we are clear your talking treason right? If that's the case do you have a backup to leave town in case things go south."

Paullo collects all the pendants, before following. after Rexus's speech Paullo takes a bow and flourishes his hat, "I'm afraid I haven't met you before my names Paullo Ocella and I'm a investigator for hire. Where I don't mean to be one to bring this up, but what kind of pay would I be looking at? " Paullo shrugs off any stares or scoffs at his remarks.

Paullo steps back watching, while the others talk. As man of few words Paullo much preferred to listen than to talk. while the others are going through the guards belongings Paullo watches down the alley for additional help.

at least the Kid isn't bloodthirsty... a she watches the swordsman search the bodies of the knocked out guards.

the wizard doesn't seem to be much more than a apprentice. With the spells she was using....

The one they called "mic" seems to know how to fight, that is good....

Not sure yet about the "gunslinger" ill have to watch her more...

Paullo concentrates on the nobles clothing to see if he can determine anything, in addition he will try to sense motive on general (hunch) about the man.

Paullo makes his way around the fight to go check on the "Noble" making his way around the streets. Luckily he knew a shortcut to get around the fight.

I'm double moving to get around the fight using alleys. don't know how far I can get. Please be patient on my character guys, I'm not helping because I don't really know yall yet, and my character is not one to stick his neck out for people he doesn't know. unless someone is looking In really bad shape.

That kid is almost dead and is STARTING a fight..... Paullo shakes his head watching from around the corner. Paullo wants to spend the round to see if he can find out what happened. Not wanting to choose sides yet. best to see who started it... Is that a noble?

Paullo watches as the inept rioter with the longsword (sorry, Jack.) misses the Dotteri guard I wonder if he even knows how to use it or if it was his fathers. ; in the Dotteri's defense her training allowed her to basically be surrounded and still holding her own.

Seeing his opening Paullo, attacks with his cane as a mere club. (I don't know if you as a DM allow this, I have heard different discussions on this, so take away any penalty you think is fair. and just let me know your ruling for the future. on sword cane as a mere club if needed. or if a -4 penalty for improvised weapon.)

Paullo continues to move around people, trying to leave. However a Stall overturns in the conflict causing Paullo to take a alternate route through the mess. It appears the Chelish citizens group has been training....... perhaps training for a takeover of Kintrgo? After all no one I've spoke to really knows what happened to the Mayor. seeing the numerous wounds on both one of the ladies and the swordsman makes Paullo wonder.

I'm stalling (pardon the pun) leaving, but my character doesn't know them enough to get involved yet.

I think it is awesome, I would just roll with it. Work it into your background. and ask if you can take a drawback like "doubt" and make it a part of your character.

Paullo quickly moves through the crowds as fast as possible, knowing that the chaos surrounding him will cover any inconstancies with his disguise as a old man. when a "BANG" echoes in his ears. Dammit, they shouldn't be trying to kill the Doterri.... even the "Newt" wouldn't try that without a good cause. looking around Paullo tries to take note of his surroundings. looks like the only one with sense is running...... Paullo tries to follow her. well lets see where this little girl is running to.. It might lead to your next paycheck...

seeing that his opponent is much more shrewd than Paullo originally thought, Paullo grabs a nearby person running away from the battle and throws her into the guard trying to distract him enough for Paullo to lose him again in the crowd. Seeing at least one of the Roiters has out a longsword.

this will turn ugly faster than a Goblin mating with a hydra...

essentially still just a bluff check with written flair.

This crowd is waiting to go up and burst like a fireball. as he is walking towards them he is listening for anyone saying anything that would catch his interest. Paullo uses his cane to nudge people out of the way.

"Click , Click, Click" Paullo's cane went as he made his way inside the protest, taking a quick look around seeing if there is anyone that looks interesting in the crowd that me could get close to. Surely there was bound to be a couple of people like that in the protest. He didn't really expect anyone to recognize him either. with his hair dyed and face covered in ash like a peasant.

I think I saw somewhere that one of the pre approved characters from the other group is part of Jhaltro house. I could have had prior talks with them. I am a Private investigator so I could have been a informant.
