"Onye Dawaon now wonders about the wisdom of sending the envoy on this particular ship," he murmurs to himself. "Everyone is dangerous."

"It is a statement," Onye answers.

"Then Onye Dawon will inform Shira that when someone is murdered on the ship and Shira lies about cleaning pots all night, it makes them suspicious," he says bluntly.

"Does the Captain know where Anera might be found?" Onye asks.

Can someone roll sense motive?

Onye Dawon appraises the tiefling. "Very stern."

"Onye suspects a sterner tactic may be necessary," he suggests to the other amurrun.

"Does Tsamara smell that as well?" Onye asks, his nose wrinkling under his mask. "Does Thanzeril smell that way or was it in the room before? Spice, flowers, and berries."

"The door was not forced," Onye notes. "It was not locked. Sephriel either knew the murderer or the murderer had the key. Who has keys to the rooms, Captain? The bodyguard was here."

”Where is the body guard of Sephriel?” Onye asks the others while searching the room.

After taking down the elf, Onye scans the deck for more assailants. Seeing none, he shifts back into his humanoid form. He draws his bone wand and looks to see who needs healing.

Finding Demm unconscious (or nearly so), he kneels down and activates his wand. "Demm tad-draguni seems in more dire state than his wound suggests. Can Tsamara help him?"

Onye bounds out of the cabin and crosses the deck with feline speed. He pounces on the remaining sea elf and snaps with his teeth.

Onye growls deep in his chest when the elf stabs him with their trident. When Aurora's magic paralyzes the one who stabbed him, he directs his teeth and claws against the other.

Nauseated? Well, fun.

Warned by the wailing phantom, Onye rises from his hammock. He looks at the chest holding his armor and growls quietly. With a fleeting glance at his pole arms resting against the rack, he steps next to the door. As he steps, his body shifts into that of a tiger. There he crouches back in anticipation of pouncing.

"Onye can share the watch at any hour," Onye says as they consider the layout of the ship upon which they will be traveling.

Onye looks over his companions. The amurrun's tail flicks from side to side for indeed he has found ship travel to be monotonous and with disappointingly few threats to the tapestry of creation to battle. The four wooden masks that hang from his belt--tiger, jaguar, lion, and cheetah--clatter musically from time to time as he fidgets.

His ears perk up as Tsamara asks her question, overly eager for the answer to be "alghollthu."

"How can any of you make anything from those smudges?" Onye asks, wrinkling his nose under his mask.

"Hand it to me, I can tie it round the altar," Onye says to TSamara.

"What? Hmm?" Onye purrs as he moves over to the visible portion of the pit. "You need longer finger nails."

Onye wipes off the gremlin blood and guts from his glaive and then retrieves his other weapons after the fiery spheres dissipate. "The misfortunate spirit will reform in the First World, unfortunately," the amurrun comments. "This must be the place to search for the hidden vault."

Dice were definitely on my side this round.

Onye twists and bends as he avoids the rolling spheres of fire. He drop the weapons in his hands to either side of him and then reaches over his shoulder. Drawing over his cold iron glaive, he swings it at the tiny jinkin. He then steps forward out of the flames.

Grappling Hook: Throwing a grappling hook requires a ranged Attack Roll, treating the hook as a thrown weapon with a range increment of 10 feet. Objects with ample places to catch the hook are AC 5.

So AC depends on how sparse you determine the area it is thrown at is.

No Take 10 because we're in combat and Gamil doesn't have a climb speed. No Take 20 because you could fall (besides the combat).

Onye yowls as the gremlin summons a sphere of fire. He steps out of the fire and after the gremlin. He adapts to the situation and tries to clobber the little gremlin with his cold iron aspergillum. "Take your tricks elsewhere!"

Onye hops to the side of the forming pit yet again. He risks the sharp objects scattered on the ground in order to close upon the gremlin, drawing a cold iron aspergillum from his belt as he moves. "Spirit of mischief, you will return to the First World with expediency," he threatens. The spirit of the lion fills him as he swings the bludgeon.

Onye manages to hop to the edge of the pit as it forms. He then moves carefully through the cluttered floor covered in forgotten tools of torture. "Data, can you take care of those in the back?

Onye adapts to the darkness, allowing his other senses to become more attuned to the environment. He then brings his polearm to bear against the crocodile that just took a bite out of his leg.

Onye brushes and shoves implements out of the path with the butt of his polearm as they move in to explore the room. "Where did that woman say her vault was hidden?" he wonders, feeling like they are simply wandering.

"Hmm. Yes. That might have been a little more than I could have endured," Onye notes.

Onye growls quietly as he moves back.

"Can you tell if it resets?" Onye asks.

"Will we need to break down the wall?" Onye asks.

Onye moves through the cleared path. "Let us ensure that we survive the next encounter with the gremlins the mushroom spirit seems to be describing."

Onye gestures toward the thugs while looking to Tsamarra. "Staunch their bleeding if you can. Nature will determine their fate."
