"Can I see the gem?
Rhyol probably wonders if it's at all like the mysterious one she has (Somewhere 0.o) or if it's delicious...

D:
assisting is dangerous!

Rhyol tries to help!
knowledge planes: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
"Aaah, Octaris, what did you take into account the [steam hiss] and the [flame burst] " ?

Rhyol tries to heal herself too in the apparently magic water, but it just makes a lot of steam. She looks around for tasty minerals.

attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (20) + 18 = 38
crit confirm: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35It's probably immune to crits isn't it...
damage: 1d8 + 17 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 17 + (4) = 28
crit damage: 1d8 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19

Rhyol gives it a mighty flaming slam in what she hopes is a vital organ!!

Grrrrr
attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33
damage: 1d8 + 17 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 17 + (3) = 22

I am not sure if RS attacks on Rhyol means Rhyol attacks back immediately, or I roll confusion, so I'll put in both options

confusionroll: 1d100 ⇒ 7 acts normally

Hiss steam "Let him go ya meanie! >:/

attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
damage: 1d8 + 17 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 17 + (4) = 24

"No, Octaris! I need a mephit friend to prevent misunderstandings!"
Rhyol makes a "standing" jump, coiling up and leaping over to the main rock before coming around to get her enemy from the back.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32DC 20 I think
She then gives RS a mighty thwack.
attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
damage: 1d8 + 17 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 17 + (5) = 26

linguistics: 1d20 ⇒ 9
know planes: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
know planes: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Rather than mess with the subjective gravity, Ryhol just jumps over to the next platform, raging and gaining vital strike as a swift action.

attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
damage: 2d8 + 17 + 1d6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 17 + (1) = 29 plus burn, dc 17 for 1d6 for 1d4 rounds

"How am I supposed to be 'lawful' whatever that means? I'll get this one! Raagh! Take that! Too much chaos here!

You could just play a halfling, and take the racial trait. No dips needed.

"I didn't see anything else moving....

I'm 99% out for this week, will probably manage some posts in quit time.

Rhyol tries to burn it and wrap fire around it.
[ooc] If she can grapple, she does that for 3d6 fire, if not, she slams for 1d6, assuming the physical damage does nothing. She has the same CMB and attack modifier.[ooc]

attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
damage: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 2) = 10

" ssoo... I should burn it?"

" Ah! What's happening?"

"Hands would be pretty useful here.

Anything look edible (from Rhyol's perspective of course)?

Rhyol somewhat cautiously looks into B6.

"Finally! Some ground! Let's see what's here..."
Rhyol cautiously proceeds.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I like to start by crafting a story from the mechanics in cases like this, where you have a build you want. How did they get to the material plane? How did they learn a chelish fighting style? What is their relationship to fey? If they started as a fighter, how were they inducted as a holy warrior? Etc.

Putting this in discussion:
ROCKS ARE NOT WATER
HITTING WATER AT 34 MPH ALSO HURTS

wait what that makes no sense....ok...magic...

How dense are the rocks up ahead?

Ha! Here's hoping she doesn't splat into a rock! Luckily she can survive terminal velocity fall damage.

Rhyol "fell" 150 feet, then 300, so I think so. I hadn't moved her token on the previous rounds because we didn't have the DC to change gravity.I might note if anyone has feather fall, she's about to have an unfortunate encounter with some floating rocks - but hey, at least she won't be floating around in nothing. Honestly if you can free fall where you want to go why do people use ships anyway?

Rhyol tries to slow down as she careens towards the food and Sizz.
wisdom: 1d20 ⇒ 2
uh oh
Hey, that's our food!
Rhyol tries to grab it as she zooms buy.

OOh! I'll get the food! Even if it's not proper rock food, like that stuff waaaayover there. Gee it's getting closer pretty fast now...

gravity change: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Rhyol continues to drift, unless she gets a bonus for failing in previous rounds.

change gravity: 1d20 ⇒ 14
do we get +6 having failed the previous round?
Rhyol might? float away some more.

Rhyol can't fly, so she will try to "fall" at the thing.
wisdom check: 1d20 ⇒ 2
SSss gragh errg stupid air no proper earth
Can Rhyol reach the ship or anything to push off of? Otherwise she just floats wherever.

Rhyol has no money and I'm not even sure how she's supposed to drink a potion of heroism >.<
Also, I think if you tie her to anything with ropes they just burn. If I drift off into space just come get her? I guess?

...why is the lifeboat with a balloon better than your ship again? Also, what do if boat destroyed and just ... drifting around? If you have good books, why suddenly give now? Could have read before ...

Rhyol looks as skeptical as she can.

I am too useful, and I promise I won't burn your ship down!
diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

grrrrrrrrr I didn't come all this way to be insulted you .. why you ...
Rhyol recuses herself hissing steam, before she actually melts something, intentionally or otherwise.

I am strong! And burny! And I can jump high. Is that useful?

The other reason that people don't like undead, is per designer but not always raw not only are they inherently evil but if left unattended or you lose control they go and slaughter anything they can see.

Yeah, she's speaking with grinding rock and steam, so.

"which oone burnnssss lessss? two are crystal, what is gnomes?

Nevermind, I found it.

Heeheee barbarian got the highest planes ;P
Y'all should get out more!

Rhyol ponders her own knowledge.

planes: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Where's the post guide again?

With a hissing and rumbling, Rhyol manages to make intelligible speech:
*"Yesss, I musst taake care not to burn the floorss. I liike metalss, esspecially thisss one"*

She holds a small bit of strange, pale green crystal.
