"You go we have this covered!" He states as he collects some gloves to better his grip, even the latex gloves will help. Then picking up his axe again he takes the lead, with Yoko and Ms. Clurrizon on his heels, heading for the stairs.

He stutters a bit and says, "We had to... smash its... his... head."

He walks into the nurses office with the ax head sliding on the tile floor. A grinding. He goes and lays down on one of the beds after putting it on the ground.

He quickly backs off still clutching his briefcase before him as he whispers, "Thank you, thank you! What is going on... why is she still trying to get us?"

As he works on defending himself he shouts, "Help! Please help me I don't know why she is attacking me!"

He slammed through the front doors of the gym and quickly closed them. Which got attention of the student in the hallway, she screamed and charged him. At the far end of the hallway it looked like a teacher had just entered the same hallway some 250 feet away. Holding his briefcase he charged forward to meet her.

Better late than Dead
He woke up to his alarm and looked at the time in surprise. Yelling to himself, "I'M LATE!!! I'M LATE!!!"

He had stayed up late last night playing a new release role playing game on his computer but now he was paying for it in more ways than he ever could imagine. A quick shower, microwave a quick breakfast, as the water got warm, throw on his uniform and gulp, chew, chew, gulp, the breakfast sandwich was gone and he was out the door and on his bike. Pedaling as fast as he could he was surprised to find the streets nearly deserted. He knew that the gates would be closed so he would have to cut through the woods behind the school. He had done it several times and it had cut minutes off his travel time.

At the temple he dismounted his bike and locked it to the bike rack. He ran around the temple to the woods that seemed even more eerie than normal but he didn't know why. He ran down the trail from the temple to the school. In his rush he didn't have time to appreciate the woods.

Later:

Sliding to a stop he shook his head thinking, 'Am I dreaming? Did I play that zombie game too much?' He pinches himself and it hurts and sees the walking bloody wounded bodies. There was holes in these people's bodies that should have them dead and bled out on the ground. He started to take a few steps back away from the scene but then realized that the temple was filled with the walking corpses too. He ran, and ran, and ran. Avoiding the grasping hands until he was inside.

The last zombie almost got him put he zigged just right.

Then he began to assess holding his briefcase in front of him. Blood smeared the floor and walls but no bodies were around, dead or walking. He stopped to open a cracked door and quickly slammed it shut for a mob of them were within. He ran to the end found a locked door and simply knocked. If no reply he continues heading towards down the hallway...

"The scary thing is we thought this floor was secure except for that big one. Apparently many zombies were locked away one way or another. So another search is likely needed." He relays with a distraught look.

He nods, and on a better note he states, "Yes, it would be good to know everyone's capabilities."

"I do have to say you do know how to cover a man's back. Come we should leave in case there is a security protocol within it, like a bomb ready to go off soon within it. These mad scientists are very protective of their secrets." He quickly says and helps the group get around or up over the mass of the beast.

Within a few seconds of the quick movements of the group the mass expands several times and explodes its guts towards the sides where you were. Likely nothing that would have hurt you but for sure gross.

"If the roof is not stable enough, then we seal it away with the roof. I will see if the corridor looks like it could stand a blast again. Though really, the plan is the same either way with or without explosives, unless anyone has other suggestions?" He states and then looks at each of you waiting for anything. With that settled he continued back to the 4th level.

He would check the corridor and says, "We have a 30% chance that the roof will fall in on us. But it should just be the section that lands on ole stinky in there. Are you ready for this?" He begins to set the explosives. Leaving one much further back and giving the string to Jelissa, "Hold this here and when we get back here I will pull it once everyone is clear of the blast." Then he walks up to the hole, letting Titus lift up the roof. He sets the other charge. Turning around he pulls the rifle from his should and takes a few steading breathes.

*Clack, *CLACK*, *CLACK*

He fires off into the room and the mammoth comes charging. Matthew moves back and holds the string. The door, or what was left of it got cleaved clean off and it began to follow, squeezing after us. After Titus let go and got behind Hellfire he pulled the string and ran to the next station. Thorn moved along ahead of him with Titus between them. Pulling the string Matthew yells at the group, "RUN!" He turned and shot at the beast some more but soon followed.

Another explosion but it was still coming after the group, more gun fire and it was slowing but still coming. "Okay folks you are up!" He yells as he passes a four way hallway. Letting you bash on it from multiple sides when it got up to you. Readied actions!

"Interesting," he states in response to Azana's explaination, nodding with understanding.

"No not the big sword. It is an explosive that has a shaped charge, aimed forward. I pull the pin and the mine will go off when something moves in front of it or sets off the trip wire. Likely there was a claymore or two setup to the trip wire at the elevator. This might have been it. I was thinking shoot the thing through the hole. It charges after us. I pull the pin and we keep backing up. It explodes and gets smooshed. If not it continues after us and I set the next one. While you guys hold it off. I was trained in this before college and recently. I know what I am doing." He offers with confidence.

It takes him a few moments to wrap his mind around it and then asks Azana, "So they are from a world we likely based a video game on or dungeons and dragons?"

Shaking his head, then nodding, "That makes sense considering your lack of knowledge. Especially guns. We don't have time to train anyone, so I will fire the assault rifle."

As the elevator opens onto the floor of the military men he asks, "Could we get a claymore, we found a beast to slay. At least before it comes down to greet you."
The men had been working hard and they motioned you to enter. Rifles initially aimed at the doors slowly lower. One of the officers says, "Yes, one moment! Just stay there." A minute later he returns giving two small boxes to hellfire.

Hellfire looked at Kaelen a bit mystified, as he spoke quietly under his breath, "wars, necromancer, undead, to this land? I understand the words you say but they are from a story." He looks at Kaelen without saying the words, his face saying, "Who are you?"

Walking back and then down in the elevator he asks the group, "So tell me your stories. I would like to know you a bit more and know the capabilities of those I fight alongside. I will go first since it would be rude otherwise. I was born here in Montana and grew up rather normal for a ranch son. I knew how to shoot before I was 10. I was in the army for four years before going to college. In college I was 'drafted' as a mutant as my fire powers began to appear. I lived here for a few years being experimented upon before the outbreak."

Going with the group Hellfire looks over your arsenal before deciding on taking one of the automatic rifles. "This should do nicely, a point and spray weapon. Anyone beside me have training with it?"

Since you are not trained in the use of fire arms, I assume most of what you collected from the warehouse is in the rooms you slept in.

"Let's go back and see what fire arms you collected. We could also have some explosives brought up." He offers.

It takes about 5 minutes and then a tapping at the doors. There Titus and Hellfire stand next to each other as the door opens up.

"We might need your support in the coming room. It is barricaded and something big moves behind the twisted metal." He offers.

The sprinkler system obviously had gone off and there is a cm of water on the ground mixed with blood from what is left of the corpses.

"Hellfire, if you don't mind." he states casually then stops and asks, "Azana right? You got a cute butt!" With that stated he walks forward after Thorn and Titus. He lights up his arms and begins to burn the bodies. A few of them twitch as they begin to burn but then he puts extra force into the attack and they stop moving before they can fully get up.

He envelops his face in fire as well to make sure he doesn't have to smell.

"Understood, we will return once the mission is complete." he states and backs up to let Titus take point again, on the way he presses for the doors to close and the button for the 3rd floor.

"Yes it looks like this floor is well, toast. Totally destroyed." After frying the undead he lights his hand again to be a torch and finishes circling what is left of the floor to quickly return and pass those who had followed. Then he went to the elevator. "So the 7th floor is gone. 6th floor is where Alice is, not much there. 5th Floor is Doctor Ivy's lab and the hydroponics. Do you want to go to the top then?" He states and then asks Azana.

"We can at least go and see what we can find. Come along." He waves and heads towards the elevator.

The doors open up on the 7th floor and it appears pitch black. He lights up his hand which shines like a torch and you can see that there is a 20 by 30 by 45 foot section that is not covered in debris to the left. Pretty much everything else is covered in tons of debris.

You see a zombie moving in the debris but it quickly is scorched and melted by a cone of flame from Hellfire.

If you are on the floor below Doctor Ivy's lab.

He would tell you, "It seems secure and safe. But if anyone ever says that to you, you should run. Just saying. Yes, you can rest here. There is plenty of rooms and I checked all of them. No one is here but us. Unless there is a secret lab or door or something. Though I didn't see it. Nothing obvious at least. I wouldn't go anywhere on your own. We are on floor 6. The armor seems to come off easier than any armor that you have used before but not magically. Matthew whispers, "Whoa!" mostly to himself as he slips the armor off of you. Then seeing that it also folds easily once off the wielder. The breastplate and then the rest of your armor folds into nice piles. "It seems to be made out of mithril, and leather but likely some kind of special leather. Maybe some spidersilk. It is wonderfully made. If only I could get my hands on those materials and make masterpieces like it!"

Matthew walks towards his door and it changes from a wooden door to a stone one with engravings on it. The door opens on its own and within he is amazed, he whispers, "It must be from my father's memory or something. It is so ornate and luxurious." Many veils cover the walls to turn the color of the room into different shades. Their are pictures of deserts and people he doesn't know. There are plush rugs and a massive bed that has a dozen pillows on the head of the bed. Chains of all sorts of metals hang from the top of the bed along with ropes, scarves and an assortment of other fabrics. Instead of a cramped claw tub he has a roman waiting bath which he can walk into and practically swim in to his hearts content.
