My first big game day reporting sessions since core was implemented. issue 1 has already been brought up - EMerald spire has only one reporting option instead of individual floors and so everyone reported at that table got no credit on the website... issue 2 I have not seen mentioned - both myself and one of my VLs ran Core season 0 goodness... games were reported... even with unregistered poepl in them everything seems to report fine for the players at the table, but both GMs got the "Player has already run scenario at session...." message and "no credit", because we had of course both run those scenarios before Core as a regular scenarios. I realise the chronicle is king, but I like to be able to see how much prestige my little guys are earning and this screws that all up. Is there no way for the reporting to know that you are applying credit to a Core character? Is this being looked at and worked on? Thanks,
Thank you Mike. Thank you John. I know or at least have an idea of how much both of you have been working on this and will continue to work. We are very very lucky to have you guys in our corner. I know neither of you will be able to pay for a drink in my town as long as I'm around.... Thanks also to all the other folks at Paizo who are always open to listen to their customers and change to meet what we want better than any other game company out there!
I am using the Hatred Phantom and while he is not the highest damage dealer at the table... he did have to most kills in Slaveships... I think you need to be creative with how to use them... the fact that they can move through walls makes them amazing to get into flanking. I "broke" Godsmouth Heresy because he could get behind any fight and with a fully buffed AC of 22 at level 1 nothing could hit him and they also couldn't retreat.
I would like to second the idea of strengthening the Spiritualists bond to speaking with spirits or otherwise lending more uniqueness to the class... This doesn't feel especially strong in the class. Where the summoner feels very connected to all things planar and calling creatures from other planes... The spiritualist doesn't seem to have the same amount of umph... I don't want to over power them, and I do feel they are better balanced than the summoner, but something feels a bit off in the flavor department. Making the incorporeal aspect of the phantom more important, giving the spiritualist more touch spells or a set of SLAs based on the type of phantom, or something else that gave more "I can do something no one else can do" feel to the class.
After building an Occultist... I find them very versatile at level 1. I used Abjuration/Transmutation and came up with high AC and decent damage output, good spread of skills and a little bit of spells and focus to buff up in a tight spot. I would say comparable to a melee focused Oracle or Cleric, but with better skills. I wish I had more table time between now and the end of the month and I would playtest it as well, but I am committed to a spiritualist I already played. I am going to try to get more folks on board at the lodge.
I have played half of Slaveships with a level 1 Dwarf Spiritualist named Shael and his Hatred Phantom named Annym... Fun times. I'll do a full right up next week after we finish the scenario, but here is some feedback from the initial session and a couple of suggestions. 1. firsts the flavor... Shael is a grumpy little cuss and asks to visit the privy in pretty much everywhere the party goes.... he then scrawls his ritual on the privy wall and sends incorporeal Annym to snoop around... Love the flavor of this character and will play an entire module with him next weekend. 2. the suggestions... (yes I know these are drastic) Go full BAB for the spiritualist and remove the spell list(Leave SUs and SPs) ... I think doing this puts more focus on the relationship between the spiritualist and phantom, and makes the phantom more important to her especially with my next suggestion.... Add at will castings to the incorporeal phantom that are customized to the emotion of the phantom and that scale with level(Nothing overpowered). Doing these two things makes this class not feel like a archetype of summoner... it makes it feel like a distant cousin.
This is the class that intrigues me the most. The idea of a gentle soft spoken person filled with a phantom of hatred sounds just peachy to me.... I'll put together a test the old fashion way... on a piece of paper (gasp LWD may not have a playtest patch for this until after the playtest) and give it a try this week.

I'm from the Tolkien school on Dwarves.... they frequently sound like Billy Crystal in Princess Bride, have a foundness for Tradition! <-- Fiddler on the roof anyone?, and in my home games have had little stone tops with runes inscribed on them as children's holiday toys. It's just how I hear them in my head, and is the reason John Rhys-Davies will never sound like a true dwarf to me... the new dwarves in The Hobbit movies are closer, but not spot on. I think Crystal has not only written a great backstory to an interesting and authentic character, but also given us a new fold to dwarven culture to help pull them out of real world tropes and help them breath thier own air. I will probably still always hear them with Yiddish accents, but the Meso-American influence will now color my future Dwarves, Thank you. And thank you for sharing, I am happy this is a safe happy place we can all come together and learn, a rarity on the web for sure. P.S. - I already have a Shaman of Stone named Horgal(Dwarf obviously) with a Heavy Pick and a Turtle familiar named Eben, just waiting for the release of ACG! EDITS: Oy the typos

SO it is inappropriate that I take off my red shirt(Not replacing it with another shirt of course, duh), tie it around my head like a bandana and say "Wooooah Brother's.... Let's get it on" and proceed to RP Macho man for the next 4 hours? - Just kidding... (note to self, make Barbarian/Brawler name Randy the Savage for season 6)
I think the rational behind what races to make available was that the Tien race boons have been out for a long time and so the sting of devaluing the boons would be less than the elemental boons that are so new... But that means that in theory there could be elemental races opened up all on some distant horizon... Just a theory. EDITS:Ninja's by the boss man ;)
Again. CDG wasn't necessary. He could have had both full attack you, and it seems the encounter was not run properly. The GM made mistakes, we all make mistakes, the important thing is that he be made aware of these mistakes so they don't happen in the future. It sounds like it hasn't ruined your character or your enjoyment of the hobby, so I would make this a learning exercise for all involved and move on... Make sure you give everyone who was at the table the correct course of action so the wrong way does not perpetuate.
As other have said above... talk to GM first, and then your VC/VL... if this situation happened to me I would not look to overturn the outcome, but I would want the GM to understand the rules for future games... that being said I was under the impression that CDG was not ok for GMs to use in PFS unless strictly written into the monsters tactics... I may be wrong about this, but even if it is allowed, it is still very poor form.

Heya Chris, Hope the ramp up to PaizoCon isn't killing y'all... Here is some more feedback. Back up to 108 tables, still only 3 stars which is kinda weird, but we're getting close, the actual total is up to 115. As others have reported the difference looks to be how the free RPG day modules are reporting. (Just my 2¢... They really should count as 1 table since they are a 5hour session...)

Excellent work, good GMing. Your players are lucky to have you. Nail: When I ran this it took dragging a PC Hellknight that was 2HP away from Neg Con through and leaving the Beasty to fight another day. We didn't stand a chance in the high tier and only through creative use of Dim Door and Full Defense did we get her out and drag our almost dead tank with us
Rob, Thank you for addressing concerns, and explaining your process. I organized 6 tables for Free RPG day and while the pyramid was intimedating to be sure, most parties simply took the tample and then ran into the pyramid where we had decided as a group of GMs the contruct could not follow.... what was a little less "fun" was the high precentage of deaths from a certain item that is found, but only has a way of being dealt with if you have detect magic and spellcraft, which luckly most tables had, and the certain affliction that many people contracted near the end. Placing the adventure so far away from a large settlement and therefore purhased cures for said affliction is rather harsh, and earned a lot of hard feelings. Over all the Module was very well receaved and there is a line of GMs in my lodge waiting to run it for those who couldn't make it out to Free RPG day or were trying out other systems that day. While I respect the opinions of those who ran it and didn't like it, I will say I both ran and played it Saturday, and almost every player at my tables had a blast, even those who died

Why haven't they killed off this old coot? He was a dinosaur in season 0... The many jest of him being a lich may be true....
I realize you guys are working on the the issue, so I'll give you feedback that I hope helps. After the "Fix" I am back to 90 tables and 3 Stars... after reporting tonight that should be 113 and 4 stars... the descrepancy I see is that almost all of my modules do not have the little +2 after the GM2 so maybe they are reporting as a single table where they used to report as 2... just a thought. I know it'll get worked out. Let us know if we can help.
A little off topic, but... Iomedae was Chelaxian, and before his disappearance Cheliax was a very strong supporter of Aroden. I veiw the Chelaxian faction to be more that aspect of the country, less evil than the are made out to be. While Zarta can be misguided at times she is more in line with the neutral Society side of things than the Thrunes... Just my opinion. If I make another Paladin it'll be Chelaxian all the way... Don't get me started on Sczarni, they are sooo Society it hurts. No political nonsense, just good old treasure hunters with "connections". None of their old faction missions were nearly as extreme as Andoran or Qadiran.

Grand Lodge has already surpassed the single season high mark and it looks like no one will catch them... So it looks like a race for second place! Osirion is solidly in Second. Here is a flash back to Season 4... most factions have already suprassed last years totals! GO GO APL! Season 4 Totals
