Hi,

My party is fighting an owlbear and one of the characters was grabbed by the owlbear.
My question is on the following round while maintaining the grab and automatically inflicting the indicated claw damage, can the owlbear still make it's full attack while grabbing or is it limited to inflicting the grab damage on the grappled character for that round? And if it can still make regular attacks they would be at -2 due to the grappled condition?

Thanks.

Hi,

I want to make a Gish build using the Path of War Bladecaster prestige class.
I was thinking a human Warder/Wizard or Myrmidon Archetype/Wizard to qualify would work best. Any suggestions or build examples would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

I read that four tiny creatures can occupy a five foot square. Does
that number hold true if there is a medium sized creature in the same square
that the tiny creatures are attacking? Or would the number of tiny creatures
be limited to less than four?

Thanks

Hi,

Would a specialist wizard have to use the "Use Magic Item" skill to use a wand
that contains a spell from a banned school or is it not an issue?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you deliver a touch spell to a willing character that is around the
corner of a wall or do you need a direct line of sight?

Hi,

If a character gets hit with a tanglefoot bag and fails his reflex save he is glued to the ground according to the rules. If he is then hit with a grease spell and fails that reflex save can he fall to the ground since he is already glued to it while standing?

Hi,

Can you combine a non-charge related maneuver-the Golden Lion Hunting Party maneuver for instance-with a regular charge?

Hi,

Can a helpless character that is occupied by the same square as a combatant be pulled out of combat by a character behind the two without provoking an AOO?

And what is the rule if the same helpless character is healed, brought to consciousness and is still occupies the same square as the combatant? Since two characters cannot occupy the same square.

Hi,

Are caltrops and lamp oil poured on the ground considered difficult terrain
for the purpose of halting a charging attack?

What would be the acrobatics DC of running through such a square? I couldn't find any rules for oil just ice:

Ice (Slick)

Source: Paizo Blog

A frozen lake, a sheen of thick ice on a dungeon or cavern floor, or some other cold and slick surface, slick ice can be hard to traverse, but can also increase the speed of creatures that are agile or foolhardy enough to utilize its surface’s lack of friction.

A creature traversing slick ice at more than half speed is required to make a DC 15 Acrobatic check at the start of the movement. Failure causes the creature to fall prone at the start of the movement. Running or charging on slick ice increases the DC by 5, with the same effect on a failed skill check. A creature that succeeds at this check by 5 or more can increase its move across the ice by 10 feet, but is considered flat-footed until the start of its next turn. Creatures (like those with enough levels of barbarian or rogue) that can’t be caught flat-footed at the start of combat are immune to this flat-footed effect as well.

I don't believe the DC for running through oil on a stoney or dirt surface should be as high as running through ice. How do you handle this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Can a character with a reach weapon use Total Defense against
an adjacent foe?

Thanks.

Hi,

I was wondering when you initiate a counter maneuver can you still make a normal
attack in the same round?

Thanks

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any houserules for shield use. I think shields were never implemented properly and would like to make some changes regarding their use.

One houserule I remember coming across was a +1 increase across the board for all shields except bucklers. And a flat percentage to block an attack based on shield type: 5% buckler, 10% small shield, 15% large shield. Whenever a shield blocks an attack in this manner it takes damage and may get broken. I think this is a fair and balanced system making sword and board builds more viable.

What do you think?

Thanks
