The lad has a dumb smile on his face for the fruit of his labor. He now moves to disable the other runner. Could I maybe topple this tower?

Round 4
The lad takes a deep breath. After taking in the surroundings, he moves to where he believes he will do the most damage. He wants to stop and/or topple the tower.

Round 3

The Varisian lad looks for a moment like he was going to fall but he managed to duck into his cloak again and somehow evade the drakes attack. But then he is up and moving heading toward the rear of the siege tower. Ready to disable it next round.

Evasion and double move

Instead of a melee attack, Kappi throws his lucky tomahawk.
Compared to his +1 sh sword the tomahawk has a -1 to hit and only has a +1 damage modifier instead of +7

Round 1

The lad gawks for just a moment at the siege tower w/ huge hydra-like monsters powering it. A few years ago this would have completely gobsmacked Kappi, but these days he just shrugs his shoulders. As he sees Vojtek leap over the wall, the Varisian lad immediately follows. He is quick but awkward as he goes over the parapet. Instead of plummeting he floats down with his magic ring.
He hits the snow and slips for a moment but starts moving toward the tower.

The Varisian lad has no spells or such to prep. He gives a quick thanks to Desna and Apsu then keeps his senses peeled for the next threat.

Active perception

The lad deftly moves around the machine and gets into flanking position with his elven comrade. From a low crouch he thrusts up hoping to penetrate something like a kidney. Hmmm, maybe they don't have the same internal organs on this world. What sort of weirdo organs do aliens have...?

Move, attack

The young rogue brings his double blade style to bear on his opponent. He smiles as he flanks with Ali.

I added +2 for flanking, please remember my opponent had a -4 AC till end of round, a -2 AC to my comrades

BUGGER! Some lackluster rolls. Maybe will hit with the Bewildered effect/-4 AC?

Round 2
While still under the cover of his Vanish trick, the lad slips forward magic blade in hand. He sneaks attacks one of the nasty baddies hoping to take some pressure off of Ali.

Confirming!?!? 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18 probably not…

Sneak attack has Debilitating Injury/Bewildered. For 1 round enemy had a -2AC to party and a -4AC to Kappi!

I moved Kappi on the map. If he can move into the spot to be flanking w/ Ali he will. I wasn't sure with the big thing there

At the top of the steps, the Varisian lad makes a slight gesture and vanishes from sight. With light steps Kappi makes his way around one of the baddies to set a nasty sneak attack next round.

Round 1
The lad always looks to be moving in an awkward and jerky sort of manner but somehow he seems to have escaped the drake’s breath unscathed. Kappi pauses only a moment then dashes for the stairs sprinting up them with youthful enthusiasm. I think that is my whole round?

The Varisian lad stares in disbelief for a moment. He then holds his tongue to avoid blurting out. With a breath to calm himself he quickly and succinctly points out to his party and host.

When eyes fell to Kappi, the lad took a deep breath and stepped forward. There was silence as they waited for him to speak. Struck dumb the lad froze. He then coughed slightly as he forgot to let that breath out.
As he regained his breath he spoke. He did his best to mimic the storyteller's of his Family. While not overly religious, he followed Desna and knew many of her tales.
He made Her butterfly symbol over his heart. I don't pretend to know where we are going. Or how we got here. He glances over to Edward and gives him a nod. I respect Edward's Apsu, his dragon god. But I have always followed Desna, The Tender of Dreams. During the Age of Creation, sweet Desna was one of the original gods who battled the Rough Beast/Rovagug and helped to contain him in the Dead Vault.
The lad takes a breath. While Desna is an ancient goddess of freedom and luck, she also has power over the domain of travel. I believe she also has a hand in bringing us here. And I believe it was for a reason. So I will stand for her and do my part... The lad's speech fizzles out.

The Varisian lad is visibly excited about getting to fly. He is exerting some effort not to bother OjosLocos or Ali about the details.
He doesn't seem to be at all worried about the thousands of enemy soldiers the party needs to get by.
