Joshua laughs and says "You're good the way you are. You're the city slickers out with me. I've got a rifle, shotgun, fishing rod and tackle, hunting and fishing licenses. Now if only we had my truck. Let's go."


Joshua nods and says "A cabin in the woods sounds like the right place. Let's make sure we are loaded for bear... literally and figuratively."


Joshua picks a box and starts to go through it, carefully looking for anything interesting.

I was searching less obvious places like behind air vents, under drawers, etc.


After completing the walk around Joshua heads into the apartment and makes his way through it. Seeing Joey starting in the office he says "That office is the most likely place to find something we need to remove. I'm going to start in the less likely places where you might hide something." He then starts in the kitchen searching the drawers and checking under them as well and false bottoms in the cabinets. Any air vent covers are removed and checked behind as well.


Joshua nods to Dana "Sounds like a good idea. Also be good to know if there is a back way out. Let's go." Joshua gets out of the car and starts heading out.


Joshua nods to the file and says "Is there a map? I'll drive unless anyone objects. Someone else can navigate."


Joshua just shakes his head. She really hasn't said anything that needs clarifying.


Joshua enters the room and looks at those already there. When Joe introduces himself Joshua moves over to him and offers him a handshake as he says "I'm Joshua Jericho, nice to meet you." He then offers a hand to the others as well before sitting.


Joshua opens the envelope as soon as it is dropped off. Things have been boring in the safety department. That's a good thing, it means no one has been hurt on the job lately. His eyes scan the letter and he nods. He puts his new ID in his wallet and the old in the envelope and drops it in the burn bag.

He walks out to his truck and drives to his cabin. He takes some time getting the house in order and clean. He packs a bag with his clothes and his rifle case with his rifle in it.

When he leaves the next morning he puts on his holster with his 1911 and turns the pump off on the way out.

He arrives at the post office around 1 o'clock and approaches the desk. "Comptroller please." is all he says and waits patiently, as he scans the area for any safety hazards.


I think I have finished Joshua. I may have gone a bit overboard with gear. I figure he is a mining engineer out in the boonies and an outdoorsman so he's gonna have a pick up truck that can fit a crew and some gear in it.


After pulling on the door Joshua says, "Looks like we'll have to deal with that wall first." He then studies it for a moment and realizes it isn't there! "Albert! Get him!" he shouts to his alligator which looks back at him blankly.

Joshua moves forward and attempts to open the doors.

Joshua nods to Jordy, "Thank you. I could use some healing though there are others worse off than I am I think."


Joshua shouts "Look out!" as he jumps out of the way of the tower. He then moves and attacks while Albert stands up and moves.

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Reflex Save Albert: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 Guess he doesn't get the +4 vs. trip.

Joshua winces as the balls hit him but he attacks again and then steps back 5 feet, while Albert attacks.

Joshua sees the monster and orders Albert to attack it. He moves up with him and attacks himself.

Joshua looks at the creature and says "How indeed? Melt it?"

Joshua looks at the others sitting and approaches them "While this may be important I think we came here to see about the aboleths and that's up the mountain, isn't it."


Joshua and Albert move in and try to attack the Skum.

Joshua attacks one of the grindylow and orders Albert to attack as well.

Seeing the shapechanger head into the water Joshua looks down at Albert and says "Get him! That's gator bait!" and the alligator splashes into the water chasing the creature.


Joshua launches a stone at the creature and then the eagles attack and disappear.

Joshua attacks with his sling again while the eagles swoop in behind the creatures and attempt to bite them.

He then fires a sling bullet at the leader.

Seeing any chance at discussion ending, Joshua tells Albert to guard and begins casting a spell.

Joshua looks at the others, "Does this need to be lethal or can we discuss this with them and see if we can get our people back peacefully."


The dolphins attack the squid again.

Seeing Jordy in trouble Joshua orders Albert to attack and then follows.

As Joshua finishes casting his spell, 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 dolphins appear and attack the squid.

He then readies his weapon for the grindylow to approach.


Joshua shouts, "Keep them back! I'm bringing reenforcements!". He then begins to cast a spell.


Joshua points to the fleeing grindylow and Albert charges after him.

Having no ranged weapons of use underwater, Joshua orders Albert to attack! "Kill!" Albert then charges a grindylow.

Joshua drinks his potion and he and Albert swim down into the water.


Barely standing on his feet from the attack Albert withdraws from combat back to Joshusa.

Seeing his friend wounded gravely, Joshua calls on his powers to heal him.

CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4


Joshua smiles as the male attacks a skunk and kills it. That's what summons are for. The remaining skunk then attacks the boar.

Skunk Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Damage=1
Skunk Claw 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15 Damage=1
Skunk Claw 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Damage=1

Albert tries to take a chunk out of the boar while it is distracted with the skunk.

Joshua then launches a sling bullet at the beast.

The skunks each spray the boar.

Skunk 1 Musk DC 13: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 Touch Attack Nauseated Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 3 then Sickened Min: 1d4 ⇒ 4

If he makes the save it will be 1d4 rounds Sickened, just use the first d4 roll


As Joshua finishes his spell Number: 1d3 ⇒ 2 skunks appear immediately behind the male.

I'm not sure how you want to handle summoned creatures, if you want to control them or if you want me to. Right next to a raging boar I think they are going to attack it.

Joshua then tells Albert to attack the male and throws a stone at gravely wounded boar.

Sling: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Joshua starts to cast a spell.

Albert attacks the sow again.

Joshua slings a bullet at the beast and then orders Alber in to attack.

Joshua looks at the boars' home. "A trap would work well but we would probably be seen. Let's see what we can do to make sure no one dies." He then looks around trying to determine if there are any other dangers here.

Joshua slings another bullet at the creature while Albert tries to bite it.

Joshua sees the tentacle and tries to remember what he knows about weedwhips.

He then looks at Albert and says "Attack!" pointing at the tentacle.

He then pulls out his sling and shoots at the thing.

Sling: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Albert charges in and attacks the tentacle.

Albert: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6


Joshua smiles and says "I might be able to calm them down a bit, but that wouldn't be sporting if we are trying to kill them. It might be best to see if we can use other trees for cover to keep them from charging us."


Joshua takes the list of herbs and looks to make sure they is nothing he isn't already familiar with. "We should be able to find these." He and Albert are ready to go.


Joshus moves up and slings a stone at one of the beasts.
