The rust monster I cast shadow trap on needs to make a DC 17 will save or be entangled and unable to move more than 5 ft from his current location in the doorway. Probably doesn't matter as I imagine Charles just killed it. If not, I'm trying to ensure he did with a snap.

Jolga snaps at Charles as he sees him attack again, guiding his offhand dagger home.

Turning that into a critical threat if his first hit doesn't kill the monster.

Unable to see into the room from this position, Jolga merely spreads stardust on any rust monster he can view.

Using heavens spirit ability to grant -2 to attack rolls and sight-based perception for 2 rounds. No save.

I can't see anything on the map at all, which isn't usually a problem. If that's because I'm too far out of position, I'll move once and begin my battle spirit inspiration (if I'm within 30 ft of the party after moving my 20 ft). If I still wouldn't be in range, I'll double move 40 ft total.

Oh no. Doors stall PBP and we have a whole bunch of them.

Jolga waits to make sure his companions are close enough to him then walks up the stairs and opens the first door, checking for traps on the stairs then door the door on the right. If he doesn't find any traps, he opens the door (if it's unlocked).

It looks like someone added the laser rifle and Ton added the EMP pistol to his sheet. I just added the gold, armband, mystery ring, and battleaxe to the group loot. I can split up the gold later.

Ooops... Got confused while posting: "A mammoth tusk scrimshaw from the Realm of the Mammoth Lords with several spells carved on its surface. The tusk weighs 20 pounds and functions as a magic scroll containing the spells bull’s strength, ice storm, and phantom steed." That was in another game which is right above this one on my page. But the appraise and K eng were intended for here.

I wasn't planning to rest just yet. Want to scout out the dish first. :) Good chance we have to fight something on the way there anyhow.

Jolga looks over the edge to see if Ton is alright. Seeing the elf standing next to Gumshy, he waves and shouts "We have done it!" Then he steps over to Zeke, drawing out a wand.

Then he begins eyeing the body of the manticore. "Hmmm.... this could be extremely useful..."

Can you give me its stats or number of HD? Looking at a regular manticore, I can tell this isn't a normal one.

Concentrating hard, Jolga keeps trying to slow down the massive creature while stepping somewhere safer.

Move, provoking an AoO. Scorpion is with me increasing my AC by 2 to 22. Hoping to eat the AoO on the movement then cast a spell without an AoO. We'll see how smart the manticore is. I think I had to move through some barbed wire.

I didn't prepare bless today because I went battle shaman, which provides a +1 morale bonus to attack and damage rolls and doesn't stack with bless. I'm happy to keep preparing bless on days that I don't choose battle shaman.

Works for me. So we can cast some spells while we're down here? If so, I'll do the following:

Enlarge person, Wulf.
Barkskin, whoever wants it.
Magic weapon, whoever wants it.
And right before we are ready to attack, summon nature's ally II to get a lightning elemental.

After hearing Wulf's description, Jolga turns to the others "Do any of you know what this creature is?"

Sounds like an arcana check, which Jolga doesn't have.

Looking up at the tower, Jolga looks at Wulf, who is the only one who seems to have any rope. "Those who wish should cling to this while Ezekiel" he turns "That is what your name means, yes?" After getting a reply, he continues "Yes he can levitate one of us up as well. I am not particularly strong to cling to a rope... I would greatly appreciate levitating..."

Jolga could very easily get a negative climb check to attempt to hang onto the rope as Wulf flies. Also, Wulf is the only one with any rope! XD

So I checked and Wulf can fly very badly at 40 ft per move with a heavy load of up to 1040 pounds while bull's strengthed and enlarged. "It's not a matter of weight ratios! It's a sheer matter of how it holds it!" So he can carry as many of us as he wants if he finds a way to carry us.

I prepped one fly today. Was planning to use it on Wulf vs flying creature, which it seems like this challenge will turn into. Maybe Wulf would be willing to carry me up? XD Skelly can stay down here. Or I cast fly on Skelly who carries me and Wulf up there.
