Hmm, perhaps the elf Seldion, can help us with the magic divination to confirm this just to be sure. I do not see anything unusual, but I am not afraid to admit I've never taken an interest in the subject, let alone studied the signs to look for.

The vision confirms or perhaps deceives Ianfir more into believing his assumptions, the surviving jurors are all in it together. They plotted to get the executioner killed. They may have even directly been the ones to kill the executioners family and set up the frame job entirely. But there is little to do besides keep an eye on them and patiently wait for them to slip up. Since the others seem content for now at exploring the courthouse, Ianfir settles for keeping an eye out for trouble and strains to listen to any whispers of deceit from the sinister jury.

Our real enemy is an unchecked angry spirit, and our only clues toward solving any mystery is the accounts of the jury members here with us now, but if we wish to be so easily persuaded from asking them more direct questions individually, I can't press the matter alone. Ianfir says then sighs before changing his focus.

Agreed. More answers are necessary and I don't think we should settle for casual general answers. Who wants to ask questions? You are not to be considered if you were apart of the jury, the only option jury members have is which one of you gets questioned first; any volunteers?

Ianfir turns to the surviving members of the jury that delivered the guilty verdict to what is now likely a hauntering murdering executuoner ghost and asks, Now that Malgrim can no longer overpower you with threats or his presence, do you want to change your answer about what really happened at the trial? Lying about how it was all normal didn't do Malgrim any favors, and if you all want to live to see tomorrow I recommend revising the topic openly now. If not for your life then to clear your conscience before visiting Lady Pharasma is the Boneyard.

Ianfir moves to the edge of the swarm and swings through with a scimitar he keeps handy, trying to make contact with as many zombie crows as he can with both hands on the hilt, and Three Toes chomps at the birds while remaining at Ianfir's side.

Ianfir reveals a sling bullet from a pouch fastened to his belt and speaks a druidic word which illuminates the bullet, spilling light as if from a torch outward. The bullet glows with a heatless light to aid his human eyes with the falling sun and the retreating daylight.

Ianfir moves to stand over the body examining him so any clues that might shed more light on whatever is happening here, A difficult and overbearing man, but not a man deserving of such a cruel and painful death. No one deserves this. I've heard undead making spawn of their victims, does anyone know if this might be something we should caution against now?

Regardless of the fairness of the trial, the spirits felt strongly about the outcome or else we wouldn't be here witnessing any of this. I just saw murders by strangulation and by the axe, though I didn't see the killer, Ianfir shares with everyone. The child's laughter just now. One or more of the children's spirits are still trapped here with us as well. If the child is one of the victims, why is the spirit trapped here at the courthouse and not somewhere else? Did the murder's take place here?

Ianfir presses the hall door to open and moves out of the courtroom, Three-Toes at the heel. Slowly and methodically Ianfir dares moving to the door that is barred to the outside to see if the bar might be lifted, but careful not to cross under the chandelier.

Ianfir pulls the axe from the wall and with one raise brow, entertains his curiosity enough to peek out into the hall where the giggle came from.

Ianfir began to get up before the ceiling crumbled and the axe sprang from the table, but his rear found the floor before his feet had gotten underneath him. Then he scrambled across through the jurors box to retrieve Three-Toes, giving him a thorough once over to make sure nothing had happened to him.

Once Three-Toes rejoins him, Ianfir looks over the other ten people; strangers all a mix of races and various levels and degrees of armaments. A strange bunch, most strangers to each other still. Ianfir takes some time and waits to listen to them bustle about, the thought that they are all in the same situation creeping into interest.

Ianfir draws his quarterstaff to protect himself, and moves over to examine the axe that has implanted itself in the wall.

Blinking his eyes open and himself awake, Ianfir slowly turns his head to take in his surroundings. The bustle of the others in what looked like a courthouse had roused him, but the circumstances leading up to now were hazy and elusive to his immediate recollection. As others all seemingly began to mingle, Ianfir remained silent as his heart started to pound in his chest. Cities made him uncomfortable, and the absence of his companion Three-Toes made him even more nervous.

Always a benefit in knowing our weaknesses, very true. I should probably add to the magic item list a few items that will boost Ianfir's animal diplomacy to shore up the opportunity to converse with animals without terrifying or angering them.

You can get the stat line up by entering the information into Race and Class lines of your alias profile. I used both to get Ianfir and Three-Toes status in there, but you should only need one of the two lines.

Based on generic Druid stuff I think the magic items on the wish list would be the following:
Belt of Giant Strength
Ring of Force Shield
Polymorphic Pouch
Vestment, Druid's

Might have a better idea of more magic items the further we get and everyone gravitates firmly into their character roles and we get through what seems to be common turnover. I'll have gear and equipment updated by game start.
