Background
Ianfir fits the stereotype for a druid in Absalom. He resides in Green Ridge and serves as a pupil to Artris of Hackamore House. His work is hard and laborious, but he enjoys the simplicity of essentially serving as a stablehand. Occasionally he provides a bit of muscle when the centaurs take issue with Hackamore’s treatment of centaurs. When Ianfir is not working, he is studying and practicing the ways of the ancestral druids, another series of tasks he has shown an aptitude toward. Despite his clear genetic and mental gifts, Ianfir normally exists quietly and dutifully to his purposes with little recognition or merit. One notable event from Ianfir’s youth was that he was caught up in a swift crackdown on an Absalom rebellion group, and suffered torture instead of punishment by death on account of his age at the time; killing small children publically is often frowned on. The event has left Ianfir with a facial scar and reduced vision out of one of his eyes.
Despite the traumatic event of his youth, Ianfir is still kind and emotionally intelligent. He is quiet and often thought to be shy through brief interactions, though he is steadfast and loyal to his closest allies. His friends would describe him as being bold, and forceful, but also dependable.
