![]() The World wound Pours forth Demons of every kind, the Storm King has made and attempt on the Ward Stones once before and our Intel tells us that he will likely do so again but who knows when. We seek knights, Paladins and all those whom would serve in the 5th Crusade heading into the World wound to drive back the Demonic presence, and close the festering wound that has destroyed Sarkoris. Character Generation:
I am going to give 2 options here. 1. You can go 25 pt buy but you have to roll your HP and stay with whatever you roll. 2. You can go a 20 pt buy and have max HP at every level Backgrounds skills will be in effect. Variant Multiclassing Unchained Classed only Skill Unlocks – Rogue’s get it naturally Stamina System – Fighters get it naturally, everyone can feat into it. The new Poison/Disease system Races and Classes:
All Common races All Classes – Yes Gunslinger without having to go bolt ace is acceptable. Tiefling or Aasamir – Aasamir’s are welcome but Tieflings are not overly as they are suspect to their demonic partenage. This City does not like those who are not of the common races. I am not overly familiar with the Occult Classes but you can play them if you wish. No 3rd party please don’t ask this can get crazy enough as it is without some of the more powerful 3rd party classes. I do like them though I will tell people that much. Background:
Nothing to overly expansive, Most people are going to be new to adventuring or crusading and hoping to get their fair share of the loot that is left in the country that was Sarkoris. A 2-3 paragraphs max is good for me. Please no RP in the thread, ask any questions on the thread unless it is absolutely necessary. [b][/bigger]Recruitment is open for 1 week closing on Sunday Jan 7th at 11:59:59 EST [/bigger][/bg] I realize I am opening this on New Years Eve here in Canada but I find recruitments that run to long tend to get a bit much. I am running a game for some friends and am playing in some so this will be my first AP recruitment and 2nd overall on these forums. ![]()
![]() Good Day perspective GM. We are a humble group lucky enough to win entrance to seek out lost and forgotten treasures buried beneath the city of the dead and the desert sands. We have just finished up the first Dungeon and are currently resting in the Hookah in. Here is the link to the game play We are currently 2nd level, just selling some ware, our intrepid Gnome friend has "told some ne'er do wells" that we have lots of items and are not totally aware of it. Thank you from Pharasma's Seekers The profile I am using here is the one of my Character Alive ![]()
![]() Arodus 16 4714 – Armasse Day 0800 The city of Kenabres is buzzing with activity as all the vendors are out early, setting up colourful tents and caravans to hawk their wares. At noon, the Lord Hulrun himself will be blessing the festival himself, people have started to gather in St. Clydwell square to get a good spot to witness the speech of the Lord Ruler. Feel free to RP a bit before we move along ![]()
![]() Master of the Fallen Fortress
Since this is my first time running a PBP game I am going to hopefully keep things pretty simple for myself. I am looking for 5 players, since at the end of this adventure it links 5 premade characters. I will be using the Core rulebook, the Inner Sea World Guide and Advanced Player’s Guide. Creation Guidelines:
15 Point buy Core Races ONLY No Third Party (trying to keep it simple) Max Hit Points (you don’t level up) Starting Wealth: Max Traits: 2 Campaign ones are allowed (no drawback) Posting Rate is Once daily and Once on the weekend if possible. Church of Abadar:
Father Langstar is looking for any able bodied folk to explore the recently opened siege castle outside the city, he has reasonable intelligence that an ancient relic that was stolen from the city years ago is in this castle. He is offering a 1000g reward for safe return of the relic. Eagle Garrison:
Garrison commander Lydia has reports from her scouts that during the last earthquake the walls of an unexplored siege castles walls opened up. She is sending a group out to the castle to assess the castle for potential use and to clear out any threat that may be present to the city. The Collector:
Nalthan Burm is a local collector of antiquities from the years gone by; he is offering each character 250 gold for their troubles. He would like first dibs on any items that the team brings back from the now open siege castle. Recruitment will be open till Dec 12th At 2401 EST ![]()
![]() So I have a few questions for those who are new and old to GMing a PBP game. 1. Character selection seems to be the biggest issue at hand, how do you pick the characters you want in you game? 2. Point buy, I know 20 is about standard but why not 25 or 15? 3. Extras from Unchained, I do like some of the sub systems that were created to help compliment PF. 4. Time frame to submit, Is less better because people will have less time to play around with a character? More seems to invite A LOT more submissions. Thanks in advance. ![]()
![]() My party has just emerged from the underground all members intact, I am curious as to how people ran the streets of Kenabras. I was thinking of doing away with all but a few random encounters and making the scripted "special" events the main bread and butter of the city. It gives it more of a desperate feel, people are missing, dead, piles of bodies all over the place, whole sections of the city destroyed or sunken. I have an idea for an orphanage rescue as well. I just wanted to know how sandbox people made it feel. ![]()
![]() I have this cool idea for a Monk/Druid build which focus' on unarmed striking and uses some of the druid spells up to 2nd level (magic fang, frost bite, frigid touch) to give it some flavour. I am not really sure which class to start with though as if I go druid I would think I should take imp unarmed strike but if i go monk first I get it free. ![]()
![]() As I was reading through the druid spell list I noticed a lot of spells they have a touch based. I cannot remember what the feat used to be called (in 3.5) that allowed a druid to cast a spell while wild shaped. Also I was thinking of going druid 4/Monk 8 for PFS, going unarmed build and going Storm archetype as druid and taking weather for some really cool RP ideas and over all play style. |
