    Grinwald's eyes widen as the pathetic skeletons land two massive blows on him. Undeterred, he flies into a rage and lays into the blue skeleton.

    With that, Grinwald finds something to secure to and starts down the rope.

    He starts muttering about strange occurrences as he starts descending and his voice becomes drowned out by the sounds of his climbing.

    While Grinwald waits in the office he fidgets. All the excitement has gotten his blood flowing and he's looking forward to more action. By now, though, he has gotten used to the fact that there has to be calm between the fun storms. So he waits.

    "They don't pay me to figure out puzzles, but this Wennel does seem to be the key to whatever is going on here. So how do we find him? Look for a temple of Milani?"

    Things we know:

    Oozes are popping up from the sewers
    Someone is bumping off ex-slaves from a list made by Wennel Ardonay, including Justerian

    List Names: Justerian, Remna, Aedo, Nelfurhin, Omoak

    Justerian (one such ex-slave)

  • Dahlia (his boss at the restaurant) pointed us towards Justerian's old mansion which was quite the mess.
  • Justerian probably worshipped Milani who has a rose growing amidst bloody cobblestones as the holy symbol
  • Justerian was attacked by undead, presumably under the control of a worshipper of Urgathoa.
  • Justerian lived in squalor with bats and oozes (oozes again) even though some W would have helped him (Wennel Ardonay?)

    Grinwald is torn. He would much prefer to join the ex-warhounder on his rat bashing mission. Much more his style. But he is being paid to investigate for the pathfinders. Grrrr. Oozes sound interesting!

    You can remove the suggestion to redo Grinwald's actions. He is about to lose rage and be fatigued anyway (in version 2 a barbarian only gets 3 rounds at a time at this level at least) and getting out of the area is a good idea. Also, you still need to apply the 3 temp rage points against his HP lost. He should be at -18, not -21.

    Move, rage, attack - and miss. Are we doing critical failures? I really like rolling ones it seems. Good for a playtest though this battle is going very poorly with them rolling so many damage dice.
