Hmm, I somehow glossed over the story feat part of the application... Conciliator or Champion would be appropriate for Etienne.

I'm fine with Discord too. I usually have it up and running most of the day.

I'd like to present Etienne St. Germain. He will need to be adjusted some for the build presented here.

He's a paladin of Sarenrae, and openly worships the Dawnflower. His mission is to bring the worship of Sarenrae more into the open in Taldor and advocate for the poor of the nation.

I'd like to submit Etienne! He is a virtuous bravo paladin, he's a swashbuckler style Paladin with a strong internal moral compass.

He is a Taldan by birth, and with the Child of Oppara trait, he's part of a minor noble family. His interest is to promote social justice and bring about meaningful change for the lower classes and to advance the worship of Sarenrae through his deeds and words.

As there is already a Paladin/Bard submission for this, I think I'm going to hold off unless I can come up with a cool idea quick!

Gestalt rules means you take two classes at each level, taking the best of all categories from either class and combining them together. If one is full bab, you take full bab. If one is 0/2/2 on saves, and the other is 2/2/0, your base saves at level 1 are 2/2/2.

Same with all of the HP and skills and such, minus the fact that you combine the class skills for both classes together.
For the Favored class bonus, you choose one of the two to be your favored class and receive the benefits for each level you take of it, including any alternate favored class bonuses.

I'm thinking about adding Arcane Duelist (Bard) to this build, I've never made a gestalt character, so we use the better number from each class for HP, skills, BAB, Saves, etc? Does favored class come into play?
