Best of luck to you all! Save Taldor (or not?)

I think I may need to tweak this build, but I'd be interested in applying with my paladin concept for this campaign!

Congrats to all, best of luck!

Hmm, I somehow glossed over the story feat part of the application... Conciliator or Champion would be appropriate for Etienne.

I'm fine with Discord too. I usually have it up and running most of the day.

Starting gold: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 5, 6, 4) = 25x10 = 250

I've updated the mechanics of the character to match the free feats listed above. This is exciting!

I'd like to present Etienne St. Germain. He will need to be adjusted some for the build presented here.

He's a paladin of Sarenrae, and openly worships the Dawnflower. His mission is to bring the worship of Sarenrae more into the open in Taldor and advocate for the poor of the nation.

Congrats all!

Yes, best of luck to everyone!

I'd like to submit Etienne! He is a virtuous bravo paladin, he's a swashbuckler style Paladin with a strong internal moral compass.

Your character's link to Taldor and their motivation for getting involved in Taldan politics:
He is a Taldan by birth, and with the Child of Oppara trait, he's part of a minor noble family. His interest is to promote social justice and bring about meaningful change for the lower classes and to advance the worship of Sarenrae through his deeds and words.
Race and classHuman Paladin (Virtuous Bravo)
Alignment or moralityLawful Good
Role in the group - what can your character contribute in and out of combatEtienne will be a more than competent combatant with his scimitar, out of combat Etienne is a social butterfly and barrister, arguing cases more on the merit of his personality than in-depth understanding of the law. (High Charisma, average Int and Wis)
Background In profile
(optional) Character progression, how do you plan to develop them? Most likely Paladin straight through, I don't see a need to veer off that, unless I'm really feeling a skill crunch, which could mean into investigator for a level or two.

Best of luck saving Taldor from itself! Congrats all.

Best of luck all! :D

I'm fine with anything! I know its a tremendous amount of work you are looking at with two, but if you want to do it, more power to ya!

I've added some description to Etienne to help flesh out his personality and fit in a party :D

I'd like to Submit Etienne, I'll make sure he's set to your specifications for character creation a little later today :D

Starting gold: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 5, 1) = 13
[That's below Average so I'll take the 175

As there is already a Paladin/Bard submission for this, I think I'm going to hold off unless I can come up with a cool idea quick!

That Taldan GM wrote:

Gestalt rules means you take two classes at each level, taking the best of all categories from either class and combining them together. If one is full bab, you take full bab. If one is 0/2/2 on saves, and the other is 2/2/0, your base saves at level 1 are 2/2/2.

Same with all of the HP and skills and such, minus the fact that you combine the class skills for both classes together.
For the Favored class bonus, you choose one of the two to be your favored class and receive the benefits for each level you take of it, including any alternate favored class bonuses.

Cool thanks for clearing that up!

I'm thinking about adding Arcane Duelist (Bard) to this build, I've never made a gestalt character, so we use the better number from each class for HP, skills, BAB, Saves, etc? Does favored class come into play?

I would be very interested! I'll need to adapt Etienne to fit, but sounds like fun. :D

Congrats all! Best of luck saving Taldor!

Wow a lot of really great submissions! Best of luck everyone!

I would like to throw Etienne's hat into the ring for consideration. He's a Paladin of Sarenrae and a barrister in Taldor.
