Thanks, GM Kate for running this special; I had a great time! And thanks to all my fellow Pathfinders. It was really fun playing with all of you. John, those enlarge person spells you used on me were so much fun! 20' reach along with Combat Reflexes is a pretty great combo. And thanks Dawa for the buffs and healing, and everyone else. We had a great group! I'll get my chronicle info posted shortly.

Since I’m out tomorrow (and maybe Friday) here are some thoughts on botting:

I have 4 rounds of Raging Song left and as long as I or someone is benefiting from them I’ll keep it up until they run out. I get Fast Healing 2 while the song is active.

Note the wisps that attack when anyone affected by the song is adjacent to a foe.

Cause Fear and Grease are spells to possibly strategically use.

I have a scroll of Mirror Image to use if I start getting beat up bad

I get 2 AOOs per round and have a reach weapon (and a cestus if I need to attack an adjacent foe)

Other than that, just help allies flank and attack with the bardiche.

I’ll try to check in once more tonight if possible. Thanks!

Engelbert’s song continues to fill the hallway even though he flinches when he’s struck by the claw. Englebert slashes at the foe with his trusty bardiche.
mwk bardiche, flank, bless, BoF: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 23
damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Engelbert activates his Suli elemental assault power to add some extra acid damage:
acid dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 4
He then steps forward to let his spirit totem wisps harry the eater-of-bones.
attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
dmg: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
crit?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Engelbert’s songs also heal his wounds a bit (Skald’s Vigor).

Inspired Rage:
Inspired Rage (Su) At 1st level, affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +1 morale bonus on Will saving throws, but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration. At 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the song’s bonuses on Will saves increase by 1; the penalty to AC doesn’t change. At 8th and 16th levels, the song’s bonuses to Strength and Constitution increase by 2. (Unlike the barbarian’s rage ability, those affected are not fatigued after the song ends.) If an ally has her own rage class ability (such as barbarian’s rage, bloodrager’s bloodrage, or skald’s inspired rage), she may use the Strength, Constitution, and Will saving throw bonuses, as well as AC penalties, based on her own ability and level instead of those from the skald (still suffering no fatigue afterward). However, inspired rage does not allow the ally to activate abilities dependent on other rage class abilities, such as rage powers, blood casting, or bloodrager bloodlines; the ally must activate her own rage class ability in order to use these features.

Spirit Totem, Lesser:
(Su) (Advanced Player's Guide pg. 77): While raging, the barbarian is surrounded by spirit wisps that harass her foes. These spirits make one slam attack each round against a living foe that is adjacent to the barbarian. This slam attack is made using the barbarian’s full base attack bonus, plus the barbarian’s Charisma modifier. The slam deals 1d4 points of negative energy damage, plus the barbarian’s Charisma modifier.

As the cloud of glitter explodes in the Pathfinder’s faces Engelbert’s song takes a momentary hiccup as he spits out the magical glitter, but as he shakes it off he sings with renewed gusto, a bit more of a righteous anger in the tune.

Pity about losing enlarge person! I was loving that 20’ reach. I should buy some scrolls.

Engelbert continues his song, adding a line about the graciousness of his new comrade John the Sorcerer, and the tragedy of the disruption of his final attempt to enlarge Engelbert the Skald. He then runs straight at the eater-of-bones, bardiche in hand.

Run as a full-round action as shown (looks like that path just misses the corner of the foe’s space)

The wisps surrounding Engelbert try to harry the eater-of-bones.

A tall young man, dressed in red pants and shirt tastefully accented with silver, as muscular as he is handsome, revels in the day's dramatic production. He narrates the entire story through song, singing boisterously whether or not the actors themselves are singing. Others near him might otherwise find his songs annoying but his compositions and verse serve to enhance rather than distract from the main performance. Journal and pen in-hand, he frequently jots down notes after making a particularly clever turn of phrase. Rather than participating in the Q-&-A with the Eater of Bones, he dramatically interprets the questions and answers in song.

You could have been using my Inspired Rage to rage without spending your own rounds of Rage, Jeskit. If you weren't aware, maybe the GM will let you pretend you didn't use your own?

Engelbert continues singing his rousing song (free action) that inspires his allies with rage!

Things got slow for a bit there; did the last couple attacks have Inspired Rage in mind? You can choose to accept it or not on your turn.

Engelbert then takes a slash at the zombie with his bardiche but doesn't manage to connect.

Don't mind a bit.

Perhaps we should let them come to us so then there's more room for all of us to attack them?
