Thanks everyone! I really had no idea where I wanted to go with Elena, but there was a few things I had in mind.
I hadn't played a witch yet and wanted to try them.
I wanted a familiar but I didn't want to have one that just disappeared behind the scenes, stuck in the robes the entire adventure to be forgotten about so I tried to have it enter combat as often as I could. That demon getting turned into a chicken and battling Potpie to the death was great!
I didn't want to make a hero, or natural adventurer. i wanted an everyday person just using their abilities as someone would. She used her magic and charm to keep the Inns she served at in order and to keep the customers calm long enough to keep ordering drinks.

"Indeed, A large set of potpies." She eyeballs the strange chicken.
Several days later Elena works at the Inn over a hot oven as everyone awaits the table spread before them. Working on a cheese tray and wine. Sliding the door open to a bunch of hungry customers she feels more at home in the Inn, helping others.
The timer goes off and she moves back into the kitchen carrying out a large serving platter with some hot and fresh potpies and she sets one out in front of each of you. "I hope it tastes good."

Elena looks around, the moment absolutely surreal as it doesn't seem real enough to be over. "When we get back to the Inn, I can cook us all up a nice meal."

Elena grabs her wand from the folds of her apron and rushes to Adder's aid. "Please don't be dead."

Seeing her curses aren't sticking Elena tries to get it once final time. "He is too powerful!"

Elena is hurting as the electricity courses through her body. If she hadn't dodged the burst she certainly would be on the ground dying. Moving a bit quicker she drives within range to try and get some of her curses working on the lich. "Even if we don't stop you, others will. You life is over."

Elena begins to circle around to the north. "You kidnapped all of those children from town for this." Elena grows quite angry as she channels all of her power into a shadowy stream of flames that burns clear across the room.
Shadow Evocation to cast Dragon's Breath 60 foot line DC 22 Will save to disbelieve. Disbelieving still causes 20% damage.

"Is this the end? This is it. Either we all die here or we succeed and then what?" Elena looks around at the bittersweet moment.

There haven't been any posts as the GM went on a couple week trip to Greece. Will be back today to likely begin pushing back into the game after the holiday weekend here.

Elena isn't sure if her stank eye held or not so continues to try again as she squints harder. "This one is strong, be careful."

Elena shivers greatly as the cone of cold washes over her body. It chills her to the bone, right through her cloak. Elena flies in a bit closer as she gives the old one-two stank eye. "Unfortunately Wren, I deal more with the shadows than bright light."

Elena continues holding onto Bronin and his flying steed. "How much longer is you magic going to last Bronin?" She points off to the top. "Drop me off there and go back down for Whiskeyjack."

Elena holds on tight. "Just please hurry Bronin." She looks back, glaring at the spider, causing it a fair bit of agony. She makes the spider feel what the blades are doing to her own body.

Sorry, meant they more in the figurative sense of spiders. Elena hasn't seen a thing.

Elena motions up. "I think they are gone. Let's head up to the top of the stairs and maybe they will leave us be."

"Where did it go now?" Elena floats up higher and higher, looking around for the spider.

Levitate. Now up 40 feet in the air.

Elena begins to slowly fall down to the ground. Using the spent magic she pushes her body off and back into the air as she slowly begins to levitate. He feet hang loosely and wiggle beneath her as she has no solid surface area to push off from as she slowly rises 20 feet into the air.
Cast Levitate.

I am working on the assumption that this Leng Spider is either invisible or under the illusion and unseen by all but Wren as it wasn't on the map.

"What do I do Wren, I can't see it!" Elena looks to the wizened crone for advice.
Delay.

Elena halts. "How much of it is an illusion Wren? How can you tell?"

"That and those stones may seep and radiate negative energy, being this close to the source." Elena explains as she stays near the rear, watching out for anything harmful.

"That is interesting indeed, if not a bit macabre." Elena floats just above the stairs as she flits up near the back of the group.

Even with a bit of rest Elena still had a pretty unrestful night considering where they slept in the World. "Leave the angels be Bronin. It is too late for them. Even if they live the negative energy in the area would have corrupted them long ago." She instead points towards the staircase of skeletal bones heading up.

Elena feels a sudden chill fall over her as she begins to shake and cower in fear.

Elena chuckles as the weak negative energy washes over her skin. She gives the creature a wry sidelong glance.

Elena cackles a bit at their precarious situation. Seeing her hex not affect the Nightwalker she tries once more before giving up on the matter.

"Don't let them touch you!?" Elena looks around worried as she tries to hamper the undead as they draw near.

"It's already too late for them and too late for us Bronin." Elena says gloomily, tough she wasn't sure even Death himself could bring Bronin's demeanor and exuberant glee down. She helps take a look around as she wanders the structure.

"You say negative energy may help?" Elena raises her hand and pulls the negative energy and shadows into one as she fires a trio of bolts at the doors.

Elena looks down upon the pair of undead. After taking down an actual dragon it seems that nothing could stand in their way.

"We need to hurry into Gallowspire, that likely drew a lot of attention." Elena scoops up the chicken as it continuously walks into a pile of rubble like it is stuck in some sort of loop and begins to flee.

The hellfire rays continue to fire from Elena's hands, but after a few seconds she is spent as the flames sputter out. She looks worried as the undead dragon simply seems to absorb the powerful magic. "S@~#..." Sweat beads her face as her hair falls and mats to the side. "This isn't good, he absorbed too much!"

Elena reaches up both hands and releases pure hellfire into the belly of the beast. She screams loudly, though it can't be heard over the whoosh of the flames as they illuminate her skin and cause her brown hair to flick around wildly.

Seeing the dragon swoop in down the street Elena prepares herself. Just as the dragon begins to breathe she closes her eyes and runs out from hiding to underneath the dragon's belly. Raising her hands she releases a dark lightning into it. The stormbolts scatter all around her in 30 feet and into the dragon.

Elena grabs Potpie as she runs over for a bit of cover off to the side behind a bit of crumbled building. She waits for the dragon to draw a bit closer as none of her spells can reach out past 30-ish feet.

Elena looks uninterested over the pile of dragon loot as she squirms with each sound, thinking that it will be coming back for revenge at any moment. "This is a big place. Where do we even start looking?"
While the others scout the loot Elena tries to scout for a nearby entrance further below these ruins that might lead into Gallowspire.
Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (8) + 17 = 25
"Gallowspire is there at the center. We are nearly halfway there, let's keep moving."

Seeing that the others don't have much of a way t bring the buildings down, Elena looks for a corner where she can catch as many of the walls as possible. Clasping her hands together she draws in the shadows around the area as black tentacles reach up and grasp at the walls, slowly breaking them apart on top of the lair.
Cast Black Tentacles.

"These look near to collapsing. Maybe if we all push post at once we can knock this wall in and collapse it on the lair." Elena puts all 90 pounds of effort into the push as she grunts and strains.

Where were we headed for our original purpose? What building? If we can catch the dragon then I will make a post to suggest heading there.

"It seems to just be circling around, eating the people to heal itself. How can we catch it before it leads us into a trap?"

Grabbing ahold of Potpie Elena tosses the battle chicken into her satchel for safe-keeping. "Hide out for now, it isn't safe."

"Should we really chase the dragon so it doesn't hunt us down later?" Elena offers if the others are willing.
Human Barmaid
Elena angs back letting the dragon flee. "Didn't know undead dragons could be scared off!"
Human Barmaid
Elena reaches out, offering a small bit of misfortune to the dragon as it passes by.

Elena grabs ahold of Potpe and drags the chicken into a corner of a burned down building. "You may have your chance yet." Elena draws the staff from her back and readies it for when the dragon comes within range.
Use Staff of Cackling Wrath to use 2 charges to cast Baleful Polymorph DC 21 to turn the dragon into a chicken

"Can we sneak past it?" Elena draws her kitchen knife and holds it in shaking hands.

Elena has her wand ready as Whiskeyjack begins to quickly unbury the others. "Hit them hard with the wands as they come up."

Lol Potpie would need a Nat 20 exactly to get that rubble off.
