Dyner releases another set of swirling shapes and arrows as she takes in the battle field.

Seeing that everything is out of sight she flits a little closer to the fight and lines up a shot of ice that she pours a little extra focus into. She pauses for a moment to decide on her target before focusing on the shard and main reason these giant skunks are here in the first place.

Dyner takes a moment to once again create twisting lines of heat in the air as she releases her psyche.

Realizing she's moved too far from the fight to be much help from where she is, she rushes closer with the help of the kitchen timer in the air as it counts down the last few seconds.

As it starts to ring, she raises her hand with a wand in it and thinks better about it. She instead uses the line of fire to create an oven in the air in front of her and releases a gout of flames at the swarm catching a corner where her colleague is not standing. "Cassimon. It'll get a little hot but don't worry, I (hopefully) won't burn you!"

She then targets any living rats near her, drawing heat from them to rebuild her flames.

Dyner gives a caw of surprise at he sudden arrival of the big rats and then the swarm of them. She reaches up and plucks an arrow of time out of the air, and raises it in one hand, with a flick of her wrist she flings the device into the air making a large round circle with 60 tick marks and large numbers counting by fives up from 0. It faintly clicks in the sky as the enemies ever so slightly slow down compared to the four Pathfinders near Dyner. "I've slowed them EVER so slightly. Make sure to make haste." She then flits back and away from the closest rat.

Casting Loose Time's Arrow making a kitchen timer and then moving away from being the closest thing to one of the rats. I'm on my phone so if someone could move Dyner to the other side of the bookcases that would be great!

Dyner calls up a recipe for a bird's nest of noodles, modifying the size and thickness of the strands of sugar and forming it around the apparition. She then tries to further modify the 'recipe' by changing the delicate and dissolvable glucose for steel and titanium.

It sadly takes time for her to make the net and even longer for it to fully transition to a proper metal cage.

Dyner, having exhausted herself with the strain of keeping her psyche unleashed takes a few minutes to sit with her large book of recipes and sort and edit them as she mentally sorts and rearranges her mind. 10 minutes to refocus, going back to 2 focus points.

She then stands up and gives a stretch, her feathers fluffing as she does before she Re settles them and takes another look at the scrolls section. "There has to be other useful scrolls in here!"

WHOOPS! Forgot I was up here!

The apparitions of her psyche floating around her head like recipes in the sky, Dyner recalls a recipe that uses a great deal of green peppercorns from Tian Xia that give a tingling sensation to the tongue. With a modification of near 200 percent extra peppercorns she builds up a shocking flavor profile that literally sends a jolt of electricity at Magenta and Cyan.

Then with her energy starting to flicker and fade from existance, she sends one last flick of fire at who ever might still be standing.

Dyner takes a moment to settle her feathers and mind as she takes a few deep breathes. After a second, lines of fire start to trace themselves around her head, forming into the words of various recepies on her right as the lines on her left trace outlines of various cooking instruments going through the motions of making a meal. Free action, Unleash Psyche

Feeling empowered, she starts to create a ball of flames in almost the exact same way she made a ball of ice last round, however, this time the small ball seems to be much larger. "Making a double batch of fire cream, just for you!" She then adds kinetic energy to it and flings it straight at the magenta shadow.

The recipes and instruments around her head imeditately shift from line of fire to ice, all of the ovens and grills turning to ice boxes and magic cold sigils. She sends one of the ice boxes after magenta as well, causing the lines to flip back yet again.

Magenta needs to make DC 20 Basic Reflex Save vs Cold damage: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7

Dyner gives a squawk at the sudden bugbear shaped shadow things that pop up near her. She starts to recant a recipe for ice cream with a few modifications to make it especially cold as a freezing ball of cream forms in one claw.

With another modification she adds kinetic energy to the ball and causes it to fly stright into the face of the cyan tinged shadow as she retreats behind the bookcases closer to everyone else, the wand gripped tightly in her claws.

Dyner's eyes light up at the sight of the scrolls and hustles over that way as quickly as she can. "I just got into scrolls and such! I took a correspondence course about them as well. Maybe I can help sort things."

A short tengu slowly peeks her beak and eyes around the corner of the door frame before looking inside. Seeing Rain in Clody Day, her slightly anxious movements relax as she almost hops into the room. "Oh good this is the right place! I've heard such scary things from the kitchens about these archives being packed with dangerous things..."

The black corvid humanoid tidies her cloak of bleach white feathers, with a few bright red spots around the shoulders that match the little hoary redpoll that slumbers in a nest the cloak's hood. Inside her cloak is a colorful garment in a recent Absalom style with a few changes for her avian physiology. She has a bandolier hanging from one shoulder with various spices and cooking ingredients in containers, and a small dagger made from a red-colored bone. Hanging from the end of the bandolier is a small binder held closed with a seashell on a string with the word ‘recipes’ written on it. She also has a small scroll case worked with images of cooking supplies hanging from the other shoulder. In one claw she carries a bundle of something nice smelling.

She gives everyone and everything in the room an intrigued look, clearly curious about everything, but definitely trepidacious about some of the scarier looking artifacts. "I think, besides Rain, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of you. I'm Dyner Inazuma from north of the Sarkoris Scar and here to learn all I can about cooking! Speaking of which, I swung by the kitchens before coming here and picked up something to eat for everyone!"

She unwraps the bundle and reveals she brought some warm bread, soft cheeses, and cold cuts for everyone to enjoy during the briefing.

"But I can bring more to the group than just cooking, I can cast spells, and while my, uh, 'bird brain' can't hold that many recipes at once, I do have a variety of useful ones on tap and in my binder as well."
This is new for Dyner, but I'm trying out carrying a variety of scrolls of first level utility spells (with a Scroll Case of Simplicity, ) so she can likely pull out a situationally useful spell in exploration mode and save her spell slots (though she's likely to use Amped spells more) for combat.

Also Dyner is an Oscillating Wave Psychic which is a complicated bundle of rules. If you haven't read the rules for them, I highly recommend it.

There's only one of the common plants used for healing potions. Introducing them would also ruin the delicate balance here and drive out some of the native species. Dyner takes a step back and conjures a small roiling ball of flames ontop of the air mephit with its gusting winds.

"Damn they came in a bit close there, I hope that barrier can hold for a little longer, otherwise we might have some troubles with this ritual!"

On another note, after having read the psychic final version, I think I might need to remake Dyner as an Osilating Wave Psychic. It fits what I wanted to do with her so much better and given it's intent on psy amps and focus points has a longer adventuring day than the witch despite having even fewer spells per day. I mean the basic change to Produce Flame making the melee version do a base d6 instead of d4 would be so much better for this fight alone.

Dyner, realizing what is happening to the rest of her group, quickly calls up a spells and then diverts her eyes to the ground. "This thing's eyes look like a problem! Can we blind it or something?"

She draws a quick pattern of water conjuration in the air and then overloads it with power causing a massive wave of water to burst forth and try slamming into the thing.

Dyner raises her beak in surprise at the monster there and the beautiful surroundings. A second later she has a ball of flame in hand and fires it at the thing. "I hope this thing burns well!"

As much as the other tengu in the crew of the ship might suggest otherwise, not all tengu are made for the sea. Dyner is one of them. Her normally bright eyes and bubbly personality all but disappeared on the boat as she was often plucking up pellets of half digested food over the railing instead of anything else. The most telling thing, though, was her lose of appitiate for eating and cooking. It took her a near full day to get back on her feet after the wonderful trip. Once she is back on her feet though, she nearly eats her weight in iruxi foods and tries just about everything she can buy.
