Given that you already have a druid and a lot of up close players.

https://www.tavern-keeper.com/character/8171 - warlock (neutral)
https://www.tavern-keeper.com/character/7951 - rogue (probably going to go throwing knives)
https://www.tavern-keeper.com/character/7775 - wizard
https://www.tavern-keeper.com/character/7781 - wizard familiar (flavored bat)

I can re crunch the characters to fit in with the group! Thanks for your consideration.

I would like to throw my hat in. I would be willing to start any of my characters over as they have not been very developed much.

Simply cocking his head to the side slightly, Dessarin furrows his brow looking curiously, awaiting a response as well.

Dessarin looks quite ragged. The lines of his wrinkles and the darkness under his eyes are deep and hang.

Turning to Krogar he says, "I seem to have lost my head there. I am so used to fighting on the ground I was acting on instinct. I must try to read the situation more carefully next time..."

Looking off, eyes glazed over, Dessarin traces the edge of the wound the spike left on him thoughtfully.

Dessarin looks deeply at the manticore, into it. He reaches into its mind and whispers a discordant melody. Dissonant Whispers play a painful song in the beasts mind.

Dessarin twice over pushes the melody into the brain of manticore. The melody being harmonized with the voices of small children. A creepy melancholy chant which strikes its own blow.

"Can you fight?" Dessarin says to knight with an injured leg. He helps the man up onto the griffon and gets on behind the man.

As the beast looks at them before they mount, Dessarin puts his hand on the side of the beasts head. Thinking into its mind an emotion of gratitude. He hopes the griffon understands his attempt at appreciation.

|HP 7/20 bear 34/34|AC:14|Prof: +2, Str:-1, Dex: +0, Con: +2; Int: +0; Wis: 3; Cha: +3;|Init: +0|Perc: +5, PP: 15, Insight: +3|Speed 30|Spell slots 3/3 druid 1/1 warlock|Active Conditions: None

Dessarin rushes over and use cure wounds on the other knight clutching his leg.

Dessarin thinks back seeing the knight holding his leg, he remembers a man speaking to him, "I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took an arrow to the knee."

Clearing his mind of the flashback, he uses his next action to try to bring the fallen knight's beast to him. Calling out in a squawk as similar to the beast's own as he can muster with his druid body manipulations.

Ya that was my mistake, I had a brain fart. I tried to go with it rp wise.

Are any of the knights that fell unconscious? For my turn I would like to heal one of them and then use the other action to stabilize one with a medicine check if there are 2 down.

Dessarin foolishly looks around from his position on the ground looking for something to hit. Quite useless as a large bear he begins to look for rocks.

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Upon finding a rock he attempts to throw it at the manticore
Improvised weapon with disadvantage: 1d20 ⇒ 181d20 ⇒ 4

Dessarin immediately goes to transform again into the bear. Closing the gap and swiping twice at the creature. Letting out a deep roar, the fur surrounding this begins to vibrate as a secondary roar pierces the brain telepathically.

Unbridled ferocity and bear spit fly about in the fury that is Dessarin.

Bear Multiattack:
Melee Claw Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 122d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 6) + 4 = 13

Who are the last two? Is it my turn again? I apologize if it is, but I do not believe so. :D

When he is within a safe distance to the ground Dessarin lets out a deep growling roar. The roar fits unnaturally with Dissarin's elderly frame. However, with the great noise the shriveled, elderly man, can be seen throwing himself off of hit mount.

In the air Dessarin's form is trailed by a sickly black smoke and with a snap of his gaze it shoots toward the manticore. To those familiar with the eldritch, they would know he is casting hex

As he falls the short distance his form begins to shift and grow. The sickening noise that emanates from his popping bones and the over powering stench of wet fur immediately strikes the nose takes more than several times witnessing it to stop most from feeling queezy.

The previously seen bear form is all that remains of the wrinkled being that is Dessarin.

"I welcome the idea to help slay such evil. However, I have never.... ermm... actually... flown a hippogriff. So I may need a lift..." Slightly embarrassed looking to his left Dessarin feels shame for forgoing his lessons as a child. It also would not be prudent to reveal his capabilities to the strangers, though genuine they seem.

Upon hearing Krogar's words Dessarin's eyes grow large and shocked. Understanding and almost agreeing with the sentiment he just wish he would have let them eat a little first! This is the best meal Dessarin can remember and knowing the likely turn of course from such conversation stuffs himself as fast as possible. Taking time to fill his pockets as well ignoring expected manners.

Dotting for interest. I have a multitude of characters I would love to play for this. I will wait and see what the others have presented before I introduce one.

"Oh, my mistake," sounding exceptionally feeble Dessarin reachs up and digs his finger into his ear. Upon pulling back you can see a large gray hair come out with an impressive clump of dark orange hardened wax. He flicks the hardened ball at Darwin.

Mordal still quite watches a few steps behind the party. Not sure if he is welcome, but has not been shooed away. He does not seem to notice anything odd, nor does he currently care.

"I have heard of your tower good sir, I am the last of the Dessarin family. It is an honor to be greeted in such a way without even knowing who we are. Your manners proceed the stories good sir." With a slight bow Dessarin is surprised by the warmth with which they were received. He has been too long in the wilderness, coming to expect trouble and struggle for life at every turn.

A glint of savagery in his eye. The tiefling hangs with his head bent low but a menacing look gazing upwards at the newcomers. A dance of Thamaturgy begins to ignite his eyes.

"What purpose have you in coming here," refering to the party. The tiefling seems to be completely ignoring the duregar as if they were not even there.

The stench of phosphorous is so strong you can almost see it drip from the tiefling. His thick tail unrestrained untwists from the shadows behind him, moving snake like although it is large with girth and more like a lizards. His small well defined frame seems to ebb with power. Somehow it seems like he has been "hanging around" purely out of boredom.

"I recommend you complete your business quickly, my small friends here may be... busssy," his forked tongue excentuating the s and adding deeper meaning to the word.

Weary from digging and frustration, Dessarin concedes to the plan. "Very well, can anyone see what kind of birds those are? Vultures perhaps, feasting upon more dead?"

With the group in agreement, Dessarin trails somewhere among the middle of the pack as they proceed.

My character!

Concept:
I am thinking of a character that was the spawn of Tiamat and a Devil. Tiamat wanted to steal hordes of demons to add into her army so she traveled to the nine hells. While there she took on her human form and seduced a demon lord with her power. She knew the spawn would be powerful and would quickly rise in ranks as the son of a royal devil. The abomination turned out to more than she ever could have comprehended.

A Tiefling with bronze dragon origins...
http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=891487 I have the character crunched up. Thanks for your consideration!

I am working on a character, I should have said I am throwing my hat into the pool first.

Dessarin used to death and its smell. Goes up to the graves to perceive more about them. Looking for scratches, what he would think shovel marks look like, any foul play, left over ritual materials, scraps of clothing and etc. He takes his time investigating each of the four graves for as long as he can. He also turns to look at his party waiting for them to join him.

"Dark deeds are often done with dirty hands." He says looking down at his own smeared palms. Feeling like a ravenous bird his continues to pick at the graves anyway. He is ready to find some kind of answer even if it is by means some may find distasteful.

rolls:
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 1Investigation1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 Investigation2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Investigation3: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 Investigation4: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Sorry about that! I love the game and basically am open to playing whatever. I am obviously open to playing something that the party needs to round it out or just going with whatever.

Ugh, deciding which character is difficult!! I suppose will go with the paladin and work on finishing the backstory. I have a rough outline worked up already though.

I have several characters written up and a paladin that I am almost done writing that I could finish if chosen.

"She sells chicken, not information unfortunately..." Dessarin says in an aged way, he seems older and more feeble. His slight wrinkles look a little more deep. "Let us proceed to the graves."

After finding some wild mushrooms and grubs to eat. Dessarin makes his wake back into the inn to join his companions. He still has a two foot long stick full of black looking junebugs that he occasionally takes a bight off of like a kebab.
"You know, most bug tastes like chicken," Dessarin lets out a small wheezy chuckle and pulls another insect into his mouth.
He seems ready to follow the group with their decision.

Dessarin begins to step outside heading for woods to sleep. "I have no coin to split the cost, but thank you for your hospitality Abu," He gives a deep nod in the rogue's direction. He is beginning to believe the deep gnomes pledge of innocence.
Largely ignoring the growing turmoil between the cleric and rogue Dessarin assumes the issue will work itself out... somehow.

Glancing over his shoulder at the small gnome, Dessarin feels a pinch of pity. He has spent his life amongst the wilds and he knows the nature of things should not be scorned. Abu was who he was, it was what he knew.

Quickly dismissing his thoughts he knows there is true darkness that must be attended to.

Internally Dessarin concentrates ~Hey, you evil demon monkey, are you there? Can you give me any enlightenment as to finding out more from this darkness? Both of our homes are in danger.~ He tries to elicit a response from the trickster god that destroyed his life.

Oh no, I had not read the any spoilers. I went back and read it and I thought she only had 6 gold pieces that we had given her. I was trying to just give her the like 3 or 4 gold I had left to make her leave us alone. Then when she said she lost 50 I was like "OHHHHH, thats why she is so pissed." She seemed way too unwilling to just take her 6 gold that would have been 9 after that.

When she said 50 I even had a chuckle out loud irl. Abu the boss! [o]my guess is that guy that whispered to abu stole from her? [/o]

I know I did not think about it when she left. How much gold did she leave with? What Abu had in his purse, Abu plus mine, or none at all? I know if I would have thought about it I would have taken all of what we offered back for fighting us! But no retcon, that was my mistake. However, if we did not get anything back I think I am sleeping in the woods!

"I think a night in the inn is a fine idea. I do not think Zomith and her cronies will be an issue for us any longer." Zomith will forever be marked in his mental calendar as a waste and a symbol of spite for this town.

"Korgar, who ever said I was normal?" Dessarin stands on his two hind legs and waves at him with his massive gorilla bear arms. He does a little shake of his main, the extra skin flopping about a second behind the skeletal structure.
Dessarin drops his form, gripping one of the arrows, "someone mind ripping these out of me please," as he falls to one knee.
