Dax offers the oil to El Garrapata instead as there is no use for it on the gnome's kinetic blasts. Perhaps fists would be better served by the oil?

If you would accept, I would prefer that you take the burn. It's 1 Nonlethal per Hit Die that doesn't go away until you rest.

After healing, Dax moves so that the cold does not slow El G's movements, but instead impacts the enemy. It also helps set him up for flank if necessary.

Dax smiles. It is a smile that would strike fear into the heart of a weathered mercenary. "This is the part of the day where you die, demon." A blade of water forms in Dax's hand. That is the mechanical aspect, but it is more than simply a blade of water. It is the erosive force of the river cutting through the mountain for centuries. It is the same for this blade, as Dax thrusts it into the Babau. With the thrust, Dax also infuses raw energy, indeed a measure of the gnome's life force, to strike true and deep.

Dax moves into a position where the Vrock is in view, and then hurls more water at it. The gnome isn't able to gather energy this time, so it's simply a blast of water. Which doesn't require SR, now that I read things.

Dax has no trouble resisting the spore attack, but quickly regroups, taking a step back and summoning water. It pulls itself from the ambient air as Dax charges with energy, before unleashing an extremely powerful Empowered blast of water at the Vrock!

The gnome's head shakes, and with that at least Dax departs for the next stop, whether the others come with or not.

I have several options. I can blast it with cold or water, or I can create water per the cantrip. Would any of these impact it in that fashion? I also have line and cone attacks of water.

Dax tries to use a wand to heal the minor maladies, then goes to drag the unconscious individual from the water. The water bends to the hydromancer's will, as of course it would, and deposits them back onto the dock.

I have no idea which is correct, I can't find a proper ruling. You use con for the damage on kinetic blasts, but wis for the DC of blasts which require saves, I.E. Torrent, or my saves would be way higher.

Dax leaps down into the water, which rises up to support the gnome's weight and starts carrying the very small burden across the waves. A hand brushes the surface spray and it hurls a ball of solid water at the ocean-bound foe.

Dax once again makes a slight retreat, stepping backwards before gathering in energy and unleashing it in a torrent upon their foe.

"Throw down arms and surrender. You do not have to die." The gnome clearly isn't as worried about the opponent however, as lethal cold chills the area and a swirling vortex of snow and ice surround the azure fae-kin.

Huh. So actually Dax exploded and has taken 2 additional burn. I'm close to half dead, that's annoying. You use Wis for casting mod, not Con. I forgot the +Spell Level bit.

Dax takes a step back, and gathers power, though this time not giving nearly enough time to allow a counterattack. Cold energy blasts from outstretched hands, flowing over the opposing archer painfully.

Dax does not lose focus gathering energy, but appears very angry with the creature deigned to attack. Arms thrust forward, and then propelled by water itself, Dax is standing next to the archer whose arrow is still embedded. As water flows up and over the docks and into the crowd, mostly harmlessly, a blade of cold energy floods out over the gnome's hand, striking at the foe. Blade Rush. -2 AC until my next turn.

Ahem. ELEVEN (Masterwork backpack). Which puts me at a medium load. I don't jump or climb unless someone grabs my slightly over 40 pound pack. It helps that it's basically all I carry aside from clothing. But yes, I carry around most of an alchemy lab. I just now notice they have something called a "portable" alchemist's lab... might have to look into that.

Dax retains an impassive expression, at least outwardly. The gnome's eyes flicker with white, the cold harsh winds of winter swirl in those eyes and though not perhaps so terrifying as the blazing fires of hatred some feel, the cold dispassionate wrath of winter is no less deadly to those it turned its ire upon. "You can rest in the assurance that you will not fall so long as I draw breath, and I have never failed, even when I was left behind atop a mountain and ambushed by a horde of Aspis agents." To Scale the Dragon. "I am the balancing of scales. Abadar's will be done as it ever is, but those who wish harm upon others will find themselves... stopped. It may take glacial pace, but we are not so short-lived."

The small gnome ponders the question before answering. "I have not very much experience with demons. Most of my encounters have been with water, ice, or within Absalom... or on other planes, I have spent much time on other planes. They seem to suit me." A pause for consideration passes. "There was the time I had to strangle a white dragon to death because it was immune to my ice."

There is little in the way of a hint as to whether the tiny gnome is being serious or not, though it certainly seems like a statement rather than a boast. Given the tiny, frankly frail arms one wonders at how it would be possible.

"I would not deign to call anyone 'slimy' save perhaps a Grippli. I know many Varisians. I do not know whether your friend is an acquaintance. I seldom associate with others, they tend to... find my presence disturbing." It's not a particularly odd concept, since the ambient temperature in the room was approaching if not freezing by this point.

Dax seems entirely comfortable however, dressed in a loose and flowing mithral shirt, which looks more like a dress on the small gnome. Various gear is also carried in a backpack, but there are no visible weapons or other tools close at hand.

Dax smiles, an awkward affair if ever there was one. "Potions and Poultices. I am not the imaginative sort. We are in the Keystone, near the statue of Our Lady of Blessed Waters. We do have more than just potions and poultices, but those are our primary trade." Dax returns the gesture of courtesy with a tilt of the head in acknowledgement.

A gnome, or perhaps some other feybound creature, descends stairs from above. Like El Garrapata, it too is of blue tint though that seems more likely due to the permeating aura of cold that surrounds it than actual pigmentation. Its feet seem to not touch the ground, held ever so slightly above it by water that flows continually before the footfalls of the small creature, whose impassive countenance is only ever so slightly breached by the sight of El Garrapata. My, that is a tall one. The assembled group appears nice enough, so Dax decides introductions are in order. Words flow, like the gentle water through shallow rapids. "Greetings all. I am Dax Rya, I command the forces of elemental water and ice." Dax seems to think that is enough for the time being, then reconsiders. "I also operate a potion and poultice shop in Magnimar, do consider it should your need arise while therein."
