was fun, I kept forgetting what my powers did, but overall I learned a fair bit. I still find I can't spell psynscience right half the time. I'm sure gork and mork accept Dunc with open arms. After painting him green. I like to think Davien manages to performs the ritual, binding Samus to his force staff. (before or after making a deal and or taking the teleporter) and goes on to go rogue, tinged with a little chaos. Maybe doing something else of note as his power continue to grow. Which was all as planned by tzeentch.
because it can be dodged fairly easily :P but, I'm not really sure honestly. I'm just burnin'[melting] stuff. lol to be honest, don't know if that was an enemy, but, to be honest again, don't really care. I'm fed up with the BS, and that was awesome. As the forgemaster yells, davien sighs. any last tricks up my sleeve? well.. maybe one.. As he begins moving back to the others he will speak a one word question. Samus?
Davien moves towards what he perceives the largest threat left in the room. He raises his hand and a bright glowing orb of energy forms in front of it. A beam of molten plasma erupts from the orb, streaking towards the huge headed psyker. He channels more energy than he has ever before into this blast. this is probably a suboptimal choice, but I haven't used it all game and I'll be damned if I die without using it once. lol. I spent the exp! I just wanna see what he can do. molten beam1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 19
dodge1-30: 1d100 ⇒ 57 conversion field1-50: 1d100 ⇒ 94 Davien, focused on maintaining his powers doesn't manage to dodge out of the way soon enough, and the conversion field doesn't go off in time to catch the shot. He grimaces, thankful that his armor and dome absorbed most of the blow. so.. toughness+armor+dome-pen right? total of 9 absorption after pen (4T, 4A, 4dome, 3pen). Davien turns his attention to the ones coming behind them. Unleashing a torrent of fire in retribution, aimed at the one in the top corner. (yellow) If it falls, he turns towards the one in the lower corner. (red) flamebreath1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 6 I think that totals 4 bolts, 1 +1 for every 2 DoS flamebreath1: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

He then turns to burn the smaller creatures, focusing first on the closest one (red), then on the further away ones. flamebreath1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 47 3 successes flamebreath1: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 pen 0, fire quality
Once the large creature stomps into the room Davien's eyes go wide. Dunc! He shouts and points at the ominous creature.
telekinetic dome1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 71 4 additional armor to each slot for whoever is in the dome with Davien, you have to stay close though. I'm gonna roll a perils at some point, I just know it. Davien curses under his breath as he channels the warp energy into a purple tinted dome over him and his nearby allies.
Well, It could be a bit more understanding. After all, I doubt the spirit wants to be bonded with a foul daemon. navigation1-35: 1d100 ⇒ 9 Davien looks at the layout of the building before suggesting. If we head towards the supply depot on the way, we could pick up anti-radiation suits. Its not terribly far out of the way it seems.
powersustain1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 1 While sustaining his other powers, Davien focuses on the large creature and unleashes a torrent of flame its way. flame breathpr4,1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 5 3 extra shots I think flamebreath1: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 pen 0,fire quality

Stay close to me! Davien uses a new trick he had been working on and binds the warp energy around him and his allies into a thick, purple, shield like substance that helps keep them from getting killed by bullets. telekinetic dome 1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 52 on a success, a dome appears within 5xPR meters of me which has a radius of 1/2 PR. It adds my PR to all armor for any attacks going through the dome. So, everyone that sits back with Davien gets 4 additional armor against damage(forgemaster included). I believe I will have to test each round to sustain both. It does not affect allied ranged attacks going out of it.
Davien didn't like it. After all, the entire reason he left Dominastrum to begin with was because he didn't want to wind up dead. He had heard stories and myths of people that could teleport large distances with a thought.. how he wished he could do so now. Anything to survive. The sword was likely housing whatever that being Samus was. Davien wondered if a deal would even work at this point. As the Forgemaster discussion happened, Davien broke out of his own thoughts. Is there anyway for us to be out of the city when this core goes hot? awareness1-18: 1d100 ⇒ 97 psynscience1-58: 1d100 ⇒ 67 unfortunate, if I had 800 more EXP, I could gate of infinity us out 8 kilometeres, which would likely give us a chance.
awareness1-40: 1d100 ⇒ 31 Noticing the officer, davien urges his ant forward (half move) trying to get within range (20m iirc) and channels the warp, attempting to take over the officers thoughts. dominate1-80: 1d100 ⇒ 58 Order reinforcements to a different gate, this side is under control. hope that works, I think I remember there being other gates, if I'm wrong, just to a different part of the city.
orry all. I lost access to the internet at my residence (and I have no cell signal where I stay either) so have been unable to get any posts in as the job I've been working is physical labor. I'm hoping to have one of the above problems fixed sometime by August, visiting my folks atm so managed to get some time and access to post an update. Sorry for the sudden disappearance.
Davien follows after notch, his force staff flaring to life. staff,charge,surprised1-70: 1d100 ⇒ 97 ok, I won't have access to the books again until sometime in the middle of next week, but is an "aim" feature for melee combat? I want to use the staff some, but looking at a 1-40 to hit seems sorta... meh. haha antcharge1-: 1d100 ⇒ 12 damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 venom?

Davien surprisingly, and just barely, survives the sanctioning with little permanent side effects, enduring things he never thought he could have through sheer determination and a fair bit of luck. However, he doubts the memories of the ordeal will ever fade from him mind. Once he returns to the group, He is pale, slightly sickly, and exhausted looking. Did I miss anything?
I mean, going chaos was to avoid the sanctioning process for poor davien haha. Well, that and the fact that there are two halves to him, one part a guy that just wants to survive, one part a guy that reaaallllyyy enjoys power. And I'm fine with that I suppose. Do you want me to roll it, you to roll it, or wait until its relevant?
lit test1-50: 1d100 ⇒ 11 As he reads over the pamphlet Davien breaks out into a cold sweat. He closes the handbook and rests his chin on interlaced hands as he sits. He sits for near an hour, lost deep in thought on what to do before finally calling the others over. I'm not sure what will happen now, but I may be... removed. From our group for a time. It seems that, in this group, people like me are feared more than our world. I will likely have to be.. sanctioned. I'm unsure what that means, but I am sure it is an ordeal of sorts. I only hope my encounter, and rebuttal of Samus helps my case. Though I fear that will put myself, and even you all into suspicion. That said, after reading this, I believe I should make myself known. I'd rather not be accused of skulking around in the shadows. Even, and especially if, we are supposed deserters. That is my thoughts, but I wanted to ask all of you. As if this goes worse than I think, it may cause trouble for the entire group. He points out the sections of the handbook referring to psykers to the others. how in depth is the knowledge? Is it a general mood/opinion on psykers, or more in depth, such as ?"all pyskers discovered being sent to Terra in black ships for "testing and training""
Davien lets out an audible sigh of relief as they make their mostly clean get away. Now they just had to reach these helldivers main camp. He put up a front of being interested in the mans preaching, but honestly couldn't give much of a care. To him, it was just another speed bump on their flight away from whatever Samus was. He, like krevlor, waits to see Jak's reaction, Trusting his comrade.
I would rather get out alive. I didn't survive whatever the feth has happened to our world this long to throw it away wantonly. I'm not sure about this. If we can do it with little to no risk, fine, but we need to be several leagues away before people are sent after us. Preferably, in contact to our new group. Davien is clearly on edge as he speaks. well, I did have a demo charge or something to that sort. haha. But I think it got used in the ambush?
Right, if the consensus is to throw our lot in with the outlanders, I'll go. Just hope they don't kill us along with everything else by association. I also hope whatever that thing is isn't even half as strong as it claims, otherwise we are toast since it claimed it was almost a god. If we are to leave, we do so now. We don't have time to grab anything more than what we had. As I said, I don't know if our conversation here has gone unnoticed... That said, Jak, if you can grab a blue print layout of this ship, that would likely be extremely helpful in the future. Oh man, poor Davien is gonna catch hell from the imperium. Its gonna be rough.
