I think I already know the answer to this, but want to see if there is an exception. My Solarian is a former Castrovellian Sholatsu Cavalry Sergeant. He still has his mount. Now if he uses Supernova when mounted, the blast will affect the mount as well, correct?

in our game last night, we had two players with characters with high numbers for charisma and are very good at sweet talking other characters. My character is a Vesk soldier who has been nicknamed Groo by the rest of the team, you can understand why, and if he ever figures it out, he will be annoyed. But last night both our normally James Bond smooth operators failed EVERY attempt at convincing they tried, while Groo succeeded!This was met with a whole lot of laughs as the night progressed, as this would normally never happen. I am sure things will be back to [ab]normal next game, but it was fun while it lasted!

As far as I know, the only Nuar boons are GM boons, which can be traded.

I would like to see a Skill allowing someone with Small Arms Specialization to use ranged weapons in Melee without provoking an attack of opportunity.

Here's an idea: more sci-fantasy type races like a "Draenei" or a "Vorlon" type "Magic race". Or even better? A new type of elf or gnome that's "spacey". A "Void Elf" could be terrifying.

Ooh, a Void Dark Elf working for the IRS...brings a whole new meaning to the term wanting "a pound of flesh".

This could lead into an interesting adventure. Someone has hijacked a shipment of Labat. The team has to find out who took it and get it back. The time limits make this a very fast raid because of the time to save the victims.

People forget that Scotty was technically a Red Shirt, and he was just fine.

Think I might make the Xindi next, or maybe Betazoids or Bolians? Or Kazon?

Hey, not using Terran morality but a knowledge of dealing with real world violent criminals for 27 years in Corrections, everything from a high violence maximum security prison to parole agent on a high risk unit gives me a bit of insight into the thought process of real violent gang bangers. First, if you beat their guys, but let them live and show some respect, you will probably get some grudging respect. Second, you hurt or kill one in an upfront fight, you will earn respect but still be considered an enemy. Third, you just off one who is down, you have all out retribution. Period. End of sentence. Pure, nasty vengeance. They can't afford to be seen as weak or not standing, it is ON. No quarter, no peace making. They have to maintain that respect from other organizations.

Do it to them before they can do it to you.

But I guess that's not too serious either...

Just an observation, if you're not having fun, you're playing the wrong game. Have fun! If your idea/desire is a serious game with serious people, find them and join up. If you want to have a game where every once once in a while someone makes a comment that makes folks snork, play with them.
