Everything should be updated in the Guide to the Guides!
Hello! Gortle is right, I only check here every few months. You can comment on my site and I'll add your guide in a day or two (even if your comment doesn't show up) But everything should now be updated in the Guide to the Guides!
I'll be marking everything that's Remaster as such in the Guide to the Guides!
Awesome! A vest after my own heart! I've updated those dates and added to the Guide to the Guides. One small suggestion - you could add where people should post to get their guide out there! This thread, my blog, reddit, the paizo forum, etc... Up to you!
Time is an illusion! And, with that in mind, I've updated the Guide to the Guides with everything in this thread, as well as the dates VestOfHolding listed above. Thanks folks!
Sorry for being off the air! And thanks as always to UnArcaneElection for keeping me on track! @IluzryMage - I got your druid guide (Thank UnArcaneElection!) @Andostre - Shame about the hunter guide, I can't find it either. If anybody finds it, let me know! @UnArcaneElection - Added Owl's Guide to Witches.
That’s a lot of questions! Let’s see what I can help with: Canadian Bakka wrote:
There isn’t supposed to be a save for Crippling Blow, that’s a typo in Limb Ripper. Great find. The barbarian can attempt Limb Ripper whenever she uses Crippling blow. Is Crippling Blow too good? Well, for comparison consider the rogue’s “Crippling Strike,” which deals 2 points of Strength damage per sneak attack. The rogue needs to have sneak attack, and then it’s free. The legendary barbarian needs to have rage and expend resources (you can only realistically use it 3-5 times a day before running out), but she deals more. I find it balanced and fun, but it’s your call. And one quick note about Savagery: Technically your rage pool doesn't increase. Your current rage just lengthens. So you can't actually spend those extra rounds to activate abilities like Crippling Blow. Canadian Bakka wrote:
Normal AC - it’s just like throwing an improvised weapon.. Canadian Bakka wrote:
You treat the creature as a two-handed improvised weapon of the same size as the grappled opponent. Since improvised weapons don’t have reach, you don’t get any extra reach. You just use the barbarian’s natural reach. I do love the image though, so feel free to adjust this for your game. Canadian Bakka wrote:
Correct: “This ability modifies rage and replaces all rage forms.” Canadian Bakka wrote:
Yes, correct. Canadian Bakka wrote:
You are right - reference to the temporary hit points should be removed. She’s not supposed to gain those standard Rage bonuses either. Just what’s listed. The main difference is that she gets an AC bonus and can choose which physical bonuses she gets boosted. Canadian Bakka wrote:
Yes, correct. The rule that prevents you from making some maneuvers against larger enemies is essentially waived. Canadian Bakka wrote:
Yes, if she wants to trip enemies without taking attacks of opportunities, then she should take the Improved Trip feat. Canadian Bakka wrote:
Interesting question. Sliding dash technically uses it’s own mini-set of rules, so you would still have to roll for sliding dash. It would be totally reasonable to house-rule that you get some bonus or always succeed at this. Canadian Bakka wrote:
Unlimited power(s)! “Unless otherwise stated, activating a rage power is a move action, and the power remains until the savage dismisses it as a move action.” Why, see something exploitable? Canadian Bakka wrote:
Yes! Correct. Canadian Bakka wrote:
The penalty is spread out and hidden in a few other places. The Steppe warrior only has d10hd instead of d12. She doesn’t get heavy armor proficiency. Additionally, throughout her leveling she loses some abilities that would make her more powerful and instead applies that to her mount (fast movement, danger sense, etc). Given that riding mounts is often not an option, it feels fair to me. Happy to answer any other questions!
@Edhan, take a look at the bottom of the Guide to the Builds for the qualifications to make it onto that list.

Added! And happy to provide the resource!
Hello All! It's time to list all Starfinder Guides in the same place, similar to Pathfinder's Guide to the guides. You can find the Starfinder Guide to the Guides below. Eventually, you'll be able to find guides to every class, race, and aspect of the Starfinder system within. . Starfinder Guide to the Guides . Please comment below with guides that are not yet on this list. Also, please mark this post as an FAQ candidate to get it sticky'ed to the top of the forum. Happy flying!

Benjamin Medrano has made something incredible with 365 Magic Items. Inside you’ll find weapons and armor, shields and rings, rods, staves, crowns, and wondrous items of all sorts. You’ll find magical sets, such as the celestial crescents and set of the fool. You’ll find sets of sin ranging from envy to wrath. Within are weapons of incredible power, such as bonedrinker, blade of the moon, and the elemental wheel. Alongside them are commoner tools, such as the coin of good fortune and magistrate’s gavel. Have a character concept? You’ll find something for it within. Need a campaign-driving MacGuffin? Try the pearl of life or crown of the necromantic lord (or dozens more). Maybe you’d like an eternity seal to lock away a cursed treasure? Or an ephemeral breastplate for a quick escape? Or a clone amulet for the ultimate backup plan? You’ll find all that, and hundreds upon hundreds more, within. Enjoy. You can check it out on Paizo, RPGnow or the Zenith Games Blog.
Let's mix up the playbook a bit. The races presented within are more than just a collection of minor attribute bonuses and abilities designed to get a bit more damage out of a longsword. These races are unique, vivid, and bizarre in a balanced and instantly recognizable way. They change the game, and present an excellent, fascinating toolkit for players interested in variety. With these bizarre races, nobody will forget who you are or what you look like. With these races, suddenly your game is new again.

Reduxist wrote: When you talk about “polish” what exactly does that mean? Graphics? Art? Layout design? GM Rednal has the right of it. I'm not looking for people to say "Here's a rough draft of an idea I have, I can fill it out if you like." I'm looking for people to say "Here's a completed idea I have, written to the best of my ability." I'm only expecting text here, but heck if you have graphics and art I'm happy to take that into consideration.

The book is about a third "oh gods, get it off GET IT OFF," a third "this would make for a hilarious gift for my rival" and a third "hmm, perhaps it's worth using this cheaper robe of eyes even though it removes my face." All items are given prices and crafting costs, so a character could intentionally buy any one of these cursed items if he feels the drawback is worth it. Prices are scaled to make the choice a tantalizing one. So, over thirty of that third category for you, and plenty of evil gifts for your enemies. (Loads of pun cursed items as well)
