Prototype GM Tool CR-X
@Telos, sorrym not sure what you mean with your -ooc- question, adjust? We will assume that you stand behind Darven, and push him in the direction of the left stalker, while Will glitters the other, giving Pietro a chance to smack it. :) @Pietro, sure, first round you are full defense and just getting in your surroundings, you can still take your swing for round 2. Darven, with the guidance from his friend, steps forwards, and swings.
Aiyana shoots twice at the blinded target.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Kn. Planes: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17 Will responds in quick, "Right, these are invisible stalkers, but what kind i'm not sure. Telos, can you still cast your see invisibility spell, or do i need to use a scroll?" The bard quickly takes out a scroll of see invisibility, and starts his performance.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Botting Kyra. Seeing the darkness spell, your cleric immediately reaches for a small vial on her band. She takes it, and smashes it on her scimitar, raising it proudly into the air above her. The oil drips down the weapon, and begins to glow brightly, rays of daylight shining from the edges to bring light forth and battle the darkness. Daylight spell is up, you can all see again.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Seward tries to not be too shaken by the statues, he steps forward and takes a volley of shots agasint the statue in the middle of the room.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
"Will!" exclaims Seward, as he rushes out to his friend, bow drawn against the approaching darkness. "What's to bet that whatever spell that thing is using, is centered on it?" Using that big halfling brain of his, Seward fires of a shot into the darkness, letting his enchanted arrows do most of the work.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Have to roll for Images guys! :)
Seward unloads some arrows into the woman. "Do we want her dead or alive?" he asks.
Darven instead tries to take out the snake harrasing Aiyana. "Who cares, just knock her out!" he responds.
Only Pietro remains invisible, holding the door so no one else can come inside.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Will, Maddie: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Flik suspects that something is wrong, but even he is unable to figure out what that is specifically. Maddie, however, uses her arcane sight, as the figure of Audrahni starts to disappear before her very eyes. "Umm, i don't think that's Audrahni. I don't think she's real at all..." ...
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Flik activates his naturalist abilities against the creatures. Maddie will cast haste, and turn invisible. Borgol steps up, to defend those at the top of the platform against the creature.
Maga drinks a potion of fly.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Seward quickly unloads his arrows into the nearest dog, while Darven brandishes his weapon to try and hit this shadowy dog. Unfortunately, in the darkness, these hounds appear to be very evasive, the shadows moving through their bodies as if they were one with the beast. +2 for evil outsider. And yikes, you have seeking.
Blade, high hit: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 281d8 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 171d100 ⇒ 64
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Maddie prepares a magic missile spell to cast it when the green mage tries to cast a spell.
Fergus closes the gap and swings for the mage.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Maddie would cast haste and then go invisible and duck away. @Remy and @Borgol, i think you would get an extra hit for round 1 in that case. Flik activates his naturalist abilities and makes a knowledge roll, "These are modified constructs! Just make sure you punch them really hard, or use something made from adamantine. Also, you can blast them with magic Maddie!" Borgol does his round of attacks.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Borgol tries to snap out of his confusion.
"I am sorry, Viralane, but i must ask you to stop this." The burly man runs over, and slashes at the woman, igniting her dress in flames as he swings.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
The shadow makes for a difficult target, but Will and Seward's arrows find their mark.
Darven readies to swing for the shadow, as it comes in for the next assault.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Audrahni channels one more time, choosing the keep you guys topped off in the fight. Alustria repeats her actions from last turn.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Audrahni lets out another burst of healing, while Alustria heals Borgol.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Everyone is forgetting the gaze attack! This is a gaze attack. Your options on your turn, are to either overt your gaze, taking a 50% chance of being affected, or close your eyes and become blind with avoiding it all completely. At the end of our turns, let me know what you do. Every round you fail, including first round, make me DC 17 Fort save or become sickened for the next few rounds. Fort, Alustria, Audrahni: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 1 = 131d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 = 21
Fort, Maddie, Fergus: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 1 = 141d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 10 + 1 = 14
Sickened for: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 As per sickened, the character takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Alright, then in case of the ruling for slow/haste, Borgol gets an extra attack in. I will let you roll that my friend - and welcome back! Audrahni will cast prayer on the entire team. Alustria will heal Borgol, and send the lighting into the remaining Vexion.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Audrahni quickly channels, choosing to select out any enemies in the way. Alustria commands her gator to move and attack Mozamer, while she cast's heat metal and throws another lightning bolt at the sinspawn.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Alustira will begin to summon the alligator closer to the water. Audrahni smiles, "I think I can do a better job of this now! Even through the darkest night, Dawnflower please grant us your light!", as a radiant glow begins to shine from her holy symbol. Borgol will cast shield of faith on himself and take out his weapons. One of the Kelhuuds (green) cast's barkskin on himself, as those of you with a keen sense of magic, see that the spell is shared between both of the men. They nod at each other, as the second Kelhuud (blue) dashes into the forest.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Alustria runs over around the edge to get a better look at Borgol to see if he needs help getting back up. She looks extremely worried for her companion. Audrahni cast's cure moderate wounds on Remy.
The ravens attack yellow.
Remy takes another strike at red.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Will does his thing.
Roran touches himself, appropriately, and then swings for the closest standing enemy.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Alustria begins summoning.
Audrahni casts bless on the party.
Borgol tries to swing at the creature biting him.
… So, this is how I am going to rule haste in this case. You are correct, it would dispel and counter slow aura from the creatures, however their auras are permanent, in which case, after the haste happens, their aura's will hit again. I will say this will grant people another roll at DC 16 Will, if they failed any of the original rolls. Borgol feels the speed up, before being slowed down again.
Flik 1x save, Remy 2x save again, Maddie 1x save. Everyone else is fine. I will put haste/slow next to your status in tracker.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
All good, based on previous positionings, Seward was able to hit the demon. Seward, not seeing his quarry, will full attack the columns.
Roran tries to stabilise.
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Alustria finishes summoning a lantern archon, and then grabs Audrahni by the shoulders, finding her cousin in the darkness. "Remy's right, cousin! We cannot let this darkness consume your heart! Let us pray together, pray to Sarenrae so that she would hear us!" The archon green dot shoots it's lasers towards pink zombie.
Fergus directs Remy, "Ee's over 'here!" And the monk is a little confused, but then realises what he means. The paladin himself, steps in to attack the man. "Just 'ome follow my voice!"
Prototype GM Tool CR-X
Roran nods, takes a swing at the dinosaur and then smiles at Pietro, "Now you can move me back."
Seward lets his arrows loose on the creature.
.. Swing: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 271d4 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7 confirm?
