The northern part of this long chamber has crumbled away into ruin, with rubble spilling onto the stone floor. A trickle of water filtering through cracks, the ceiling to the south has created a shallow rivulet and a wide pool in the middle of the room that drains slowly through the rubble to the north. The walls, crisscrossed with dozens of glistening slime trails left by pale gray slugs, depict a number of etchings of mounted warriors charging across a wide battlefield against one another, but the walls all bear signs of ancient damage.

"PERHAPS BOOZE WOULD HELP." suggests the jolly cleric.
For the record, Pietro would suggest not blowing through four fireballs on a wall, in an enclosed, potentially unstable underground tomb, in one day. Particularly in a place with a lot of old, and dusty items that might be needed later on. He would remove himself from the tunnels--possibly leaving folks in the dark, and then wait for the dust to settle before going back in. You raise a great point, Pietro. An oversight on my part. Fireball would be way to risky to use in this tomb, which is already crumbling in on itself as it is. Did anyone have any other ideas of how to get through the wall of stone. Happy to retcon anything with this particular encounter.

"CLERIC. WISDOM." Pietro says pointing to himself smugly. He sticks out his tongue and blows raspberries at his doubters.
My guess is there is someway to get through it that does not require dynamite, like a cleverly concealed door, an ally, or magical doohickey. Perhaps if we had a druid in the party they could turn into something useful like a shovel or something. All that, and I don't like low-profile, TELOS mobile weapons platform being half out of ammo.
Pietro himself doesn't have much in the way of solutions to offer. Remember: Cleric = Wisdom, Wizard = Brains. The solution probably involves Pietro, or someone with a scroll casting a daylight spell somewhere or investigating that shadowy, cob-webbed section of dungeon in the southeast of the map, back past the Hallway of Flaming Death. If someone wants to go back and check (perhaps Pietro himself), Pietro has a casting of resist energy available.

Sure, and sorcerer = firepower. But yeah I'm game to try the SE corner first and see if shovels or picks turn up there. Also...

I mean, it is always good to be hopefull. Or, you could consider that a party of your level would have a way of dispelling magic. :) But there are always different solutions to a puzzle. Retron you did not go through the door way, rather checking ou the SE shadowy corner.
After Telos and Aiyana do their best at removing the inappropriate offerings left for Haramil in his afterlife, the party decides to venture and explore the other side of the tomb, a natural cave torn with shadow.
Rocky debris and loose soil form much of this chamber’s floor, obviously fallen from cracks and crevices in the ceiling fifteen feet overhead. Niches and hollows extend to the east and south, but these are filled with massive cobwebs infused with writhing shadows. A worked stone wall to the north bears a life-sized mural of an ancient warrior standing with a shield and lance. The curled-up corpses of four human-sized spiders lie on the ground of the cavern, casting strange shadows across the floor.
Aiyana comments, "I see, so I believe we must have found the source of all of this dark energy..."
The energies here seem to be more darker than in the rest of the tomb, the uneven walls here created even darker spots for the darkness to fester. Here, build up among the craggy, jagged walls lies a tear in the binderies of reality.
As you begin to inspect the portal, the animated husks from the enormous spiders begin to fill with thousands of tiny living spiders that fall from its body like drops of shadowy blood. They snarl at you.

Fort save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 Does the "D, T" before the STR damage indicate anything that Pietro and Draven need worry about?
Also, Pietro's CON damage should be 0 because of this. His damage should be at -42 hp because he didn't heal himself of the CON damage (and 7 hp) until after his rest when he could prepare lesser restoration again. So that, + 4 + 31 = 42 damage.
"BACK! DRAW THEM BACK INTO THE BOTTLENECK!"
Pietro withdraws back into the main room preparing to channel positive energy (probably to heal, but possibly to harm undead depending upon whatever a 'deathweb' is). Pietro knows that a deathweb is the undead exoskeleton of a massive spider animated with the vilest necromancy. The spells that create this monstrosity bind to it thousands of normal spiders, which together form the mind of the undead beast like an arachnid hive. These smaller spiders live in and direct their exoskeleton home, working together to swarm around the deathweb and weave its web sheets. They have a powerful poison transmitted through their bites, which deals strength damage, and carry an infestation of spiders which swarm around then in a 5ft radius. Other than their undead traits, they do nothing else remarkable.

Just for clarity though, this counts as a distinct creature and not a swarm? Or it is in fact a swarm that can only be harmed by AoE damage?
