Surprise has just over taken Alurad as Duraz made good work of the fungi with his throwing spear; “Look out Jon, Duraz might be expanding his skills... hang onto those Javelins anyway.” Walking into the room Alurad cast Detect Magic.

Picking up the magical sword Alurad looks between the party members. “This sword is magical and would be a powerful weapon to use against whatever we face. Who would like to use this blade? I am not skilled with swords.” Handing the blade off, Alurad continues to look around the room.

What kind of sword is this? Also, the description says he has armor. Is the armor of any use or is it no good?

Once he sees there is nothing remaining in the room, he makes his way to the other tower door. “This last tower before moving on to the cavern.” When the party decides on who gets the sword and gathers back around, Alurad swings open the door.

If it is a tiny sized swarm it is 1/2 damage from slashing/piercing and full damage from bludgeoning. If it is smaller than that then they are immune to any weapon damage.

Im not sure about 3.5 but if the swarm is tiny weapons should be able to hurt it. It’s diminutive that only AoE can hurt it.

Redoing my round because i wouldn’t have that Acid Splash spell

Alurad begins channeling a new kind of energy and summons forth a Celestial Dog next to the Fey creature. It appears next to the fey creature and lets out a bite attack.

Celestial Dog Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Nat 1 for the win... lol
DMG: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

My class feature turns the full round into a standard summoning time, but it can only take a standard action and not a full round. It is also summoned with Augmented Summoning

Hearing he was suddenly the proxy champion (which was news to him) which made him raise an eyebrow, though he didn't say anything to counter what Alurad was saying. Seems he might end up playing an important role for the lovers-to-be.

True there were hints and asking if he was skilled at fighting that he might be involved; Though he was figuring he'd give a few pointers, some training, or end up lending is armor, not being the proxy.
