I guess that whole thing about following someone who is basically a stranger across the north pole to another continent is why the beginning seems so intent on forging relations between the pcs and the npcs... doesn't always work I guess.... anyway.. I'm here if you want to pick it up again.

I agree Ikoma... JR seems to be cursed for me too- thanks Edwin for running as long as you did, and for being forthcoming about shutting it down instead of just disappearing. If you ever want to revisit the idea of running it, please pm me, as I love this ap would like to finish it someday.

Since the only opponent now in reach of her is dazed for the moment, she pulls out her wand andheals herself, then continues to lay on the ground unmoving so when he comes out of being dazed he'll still think her unconscious or at least not a combatant.

The witch considers her options which are few and those she has are all unwise. Healing with her wand would barely patch her serious wounds at the ratethey are damaging her, she would be dead in 6 seconds anyway. Diving overboard would get her attacked (aoo's) and she'd likely be unconscious and drowning when she hit the water. Staying where she is with no backup will get her killed as well... So she takes the only action she can think of...
She looks down at her wounds, pulls her hand away from one of her most serious wounds for a moment and lets the blood drop from her fingers and she rolls her eyes back in her head, lets a soft groan escape her lips an falls to the ground in a heap in response to the last attack, hoping her attackers will think her out of combat and no longer a target.

the ogc doesn't say, so I'd say it would be the same kind of damage as a whip, wouldn't you? of course that's just a guess... all it says in the ogc is "Her hair has reach 10 feet, and she can use it as a secondary natural attack that deals 1d3 points of damage (1d2 for a Small witch)."

I like Ikoma for the tank (he's the Samurai) and I couldn't find the cleric, but a cleric would be great... or the wizard Tal, but that would give us 3 arcane casters and no divine... Just my 2 cents.

I'm going to be traveling - I'll be on the road Weds and Thurs, at a show Fri and Sat, then on the road again Sunday and MOnday - I'll be in hotels in the evening and have wifi in the room but unsure of their connection strength and speed. We seem awfully underpowered for only one, especially if we go with another arcane caster... which would give us 3 arcane casters and one fighter... I'm more inclined to take a front liner and a divine caster or rogue, but that's just me. It seems like EVERY fight we get in is life or death for at least one person, and gods forbid we should have 2 fights in one day, because our healing gets spent so quickly and our resources just keep getting lower.
I guess it's just me, but I really think we need to have at the very least another front liner, esp. since Vermundr wants to be more of a ranged fighter, AND another caster (or a rogue). I'd personally lean toward the divine in our needsm but if we can't get that, then a battlefield control/blaster type wizard or sorc.

Magnum - very cool background... lots of thought went into OGrin, I can see that.
and yes 4th is the right lvl... 20 point build... standard wealth by level for 4th (6000 gp).
I don't know about core races only... he let me play a Samsaran, so he might allow an aasimar... we'll have to wait for GM Edwin's input on that.
