Discuss things here, like what character you plan to play. As noted in the recruitment, we won't be able to start until early next week... I'm currently camping and won't be back until late Saturday.

I'm all level 1 right now. I have a druid ready to go and started building a wizard but haven't picked spells yet. Would honestly rather use the druid anyways still getting used to the new system before jumping into the wizard.

EF, this was a Flaxseed recruitment, so it's First Edition. I suspect you might have more characters than that in tier....

Lol, I was just logging back on to realize I made that mistake. Yeah, I have quite a few depending on if we go high or low. Let me think about who I want and get back to you tomorrow.

Looks like we're leaning more towards the lower end so I think I'll bring this halfling wood oracle, who is actually level 3 and needs to be updated. I have a couple level 5s if we want to do high tier but if we go low tier I don't want to be overpowered by bringing a level 5

You'll have two oracles, so probably no more healing needed.

May I chime in with something here?

I've created a Gameplay thread--please dot in when you've picked a character.
Incidentally, can any of you disarm magical or other traps?

Please fill out the table in the slides link in the header.

Do you know where the Faction Journal Cards can be found? I could only find Sovereign Court’s Season 7 but I imagine they would want Season 10.
The final set of faction cards are HERE. That link should be shareable.

Mesmerist is similar to a bard--CHA-based 6-level caster, 6 skill ranks/level--but does more debuffing of enemies than party buffs.
The arcanist would probably work best here.

Slowly, and we won't move past the intro until we have everyone.

Alright, I'm good to go.
Btw, if you could take a look at my character to see if everything is in order it would be great, I'm kind of new to 1e.

I'm not seeing how you have an animal companion. Unless my search-fu has failed me on AoN, there's no Beast Bond feat, and the trait of the same name only provides a bonus to Handle Animal and Ride checks.

It's part of the lunar oracle. (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/oracle/mysteries/paizo-oracl e-mysteries/lunar-mystery/)
Primal Companion (Ex): You gain the service of a faithful animal of the night. You can select from a bear, boar, crocodile, shark, tiger, or wolf. This animal functions as a druid’s animal companion, using your oracle level as your effective druid level.
And the extra mystery from the feat: Prophetic Armor (Ex): You are so in tune with your primal nature that your instincts often act to save you from danger that your civilized mind isn’t even aware of. You may use your Charisma modifier (instead of your Dexterity modifier) as part of your Armor Class and all Reflex saving throws. Your armor’s maximum Dexterity bonus applies to your Charisma, instead.

Gotcha. The Primal Companion revelation description doesn't appear in your character profile, so I didn't realize that's what you were using to get the tiger.
You've also listed your traits twice--once as traits and once as feats, and you also listed Beast Bond as your bonus human feat. One more comment: I assume you don't carry your alchemist's lab with you, so the circumstance bonus on crafting checks won't apply when you're in the field.

When I read "canal piracy" I think water and swimming. If your PC can't swim very well (or at all) you might want to buy a scroll or potion of Touch of the Sea. Since it's a 1st level spell and scroll it will only last a minute but it could get you out of the water.
Just an FYI for those less experienced players. If your PC is so new they can't afford it let me know; Sombra does have some money available but he can't bankroll everyone. Also if the PC can afford the 50 GP for the potion you might want to go with that option. Sombra can only read 1 scroll per round so getting everyone would take some time especially since Sombra can't swim lol.

As someone who does not have 50gp, I will probably go with a breathing tube for 1gp — and pray I don’t end up in water deeper than 8 feet…
Edit: Swim Fins are 1 sp and grant a swim speed of 10ft; might come in handy if paired with the former
