Free! You have freed us! If you release us from the gem, we shall wreak havoc here in revenge.... But we will spare you. the spirits explain how. It seems a simple enough ritual, but it would take 10 minutes.
| Vorcan Falushe |
Vorcan hisses and shakes her smoking hands, but she holds on to the gems. She cocks her head as if listening to voices… then holds them close to her mouth and whispers: Havoc you shall wreak, but you must agree to leave the master of this frozen citadel unblemished. He's for us.
She hedges her bets, in case they decide not to free the elementals after all. We must find the most optimal place to perform the ritual. You can count the minutes till the slaughter. Promise.
Deception (M): 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (17) + 26 = 43
She turns to her friends. As we suspected, the beings inside these gems intend upon wreaking havoc here in the citadel, but freeing them will take ten minutes. 4 moderate wyrmhide fury cocktails

| Helvetilia |
Helvetilia points her blade at the burning and nearly insensate man at her feet. "Guilt by association," she says as she waves the crimson orb in her hand over the blade.
She slashes her serrated blade across his face. Ephemeral wisps leap from the pommel if her sword and dive into the man.
◆ Exploit Vulnerability vs. Red: Lore (Esoteric) (M), Unmistakable Lore, Diverse Lore: 1d20 + 24 - 1 ⇒ (2) + 24 - 1 = 25 (Red would need to be level 16 for a critical fail, so this should still be OK)
◆ Intensify Vulnerability: Weapon
Strike: +2 greater striking sawtooth saber of wounding (M), IV: 1d20 + 26 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 26 - 1 + 2 = 46
Magic, Slashing: 3d6 + 13 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (5, 6, 2) + 13 + 9 + 3 = 38
+ Persistent Bleeding: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Miss: Target takes 1 Slashing + 9 Weakness
Critical Hit: off-guard until start of my next turn, blind until end of target's turn
Up to two reactions if at least 1 is Implement's Interruption
