Alrighty, they said they'd join, should be finishing up their character and posting here in discussion soon. They are also a player in the only other game I'm GMing.
Player is Eletido, character is also a Champion, though slightly different build, still fills that primary front liner kind of role.
Once they post in discussion, I'll post in gameplay and get us moving forward again!
Hey all, still working out some final decisions on the mechanics. But, I figure I should stop by real quick.
As GM Cody mentioned, I originally applied with a champion to the recruitment for this game. Phang Kwan is a champion of Shizuru and formerly of the town guard.
I'll get my profile finalized tomorrow morning.

Here's a quick summary of what the PCs know about Kwan.
Anyone who has lived in Willowshore for the last ~5 years knows that Kwan recently retired from the town guard, but still is often seen sparring with them. He also keeps busy helping Yong Wu-Xiu at the Eternal Blaze Ironworks.
Most people know that Kwan is one of the many children who was orphaned after the attacks on Willowshore during the Night of Broken Blades. Many of the orphans were taken in by a follower of Shizuru, Joon Park. Over time, Kwan also dedicated himself to Shizuru, and joining the town guard was his way to do his duty. He was taught by Joon to "be prepared to protect your town - if you aren't already ready, it's too late."

Yeah probably, likely stationed at the eastern watchtower, roaming guard to check on the lantern and the spider gate

@Yuranosuke: I hadn't realized that Yuranosuke is a follower of Tsukiyo. That will make a great pairing. I'll have to read up on my Shizuru and Tsukiyo lore.
@GM Cody, I just realized that I didn't finalize a couple of details for Kwan's backstory: the location of his home and hierloom item.
From the original recruitment post, I intended Kwan's house to be close to Dawnstep Bridge, likely on the southern side given his Background choice.
For hierloom, I think the healing potions and adventuring gear option makes sense.

Understandable! Yeah I’ve been distracted too, started a new job recently working 4/12 hour shifts. Walking 10+ miles a day in the role, been kicking my ass. Now I’m off to Michigan then DC for the next three weeks for work. I have my laptop so I’ll be posting but I might be more limited than I have been as I adjust!

Hey sorry I’ll post tonight. I’ve been in Washington DC for the past few days for work and the evenings have been getting away from me. I’ve been a little out of sorts, been traveling on and off the past few weeks all over the country.
