Thanks for running GM! And especially thank you since Oskar has been waiting a while to get this one last XP from a quest before he levels out of range. Much appreciated!

Reporting Notes The PCs killed Zatqualmish, so I will check box A.
Oops. I guess a crit with almost max damage will do that. Thanks for running.

I was happy to help. Thanks all for bringing such a delightfully colorful bunch of PCs.

Alas, Zatqualmish was in the unfortunate position of not having lost enough HP to trigger his surrender condition, but also not having enough XP to survive Hancock.
There do not appear to be any negative impact to Reputation for killing the gnome in this case, although there are such impacts in a number of other PFS adventures. A PC may always choose to take Nonlethal Attacks (although I am not sure if that is something that Hancock would necessarily have considered in the heat of combat).

Yea, he might have considered NL damage. He did not expect the little guy to just die like that. Who knew? I will certainly role play the discovery that a good hit will actually kill people. For him it is all fun and games and glory and purpose. Life and death is not really on his radar most of the time.
Hancock looks at the flattened gnome and seems a little embarrassed. Almost apologetically he says, "Ntlk drgn. Gnms weak."

Btw, did we ever figure out the gnome's motivation for betraying the Society? Just gold? Or something else more interesting?
