Kolaiah is a towering minotaur, standing just over 7 feet tall. Her powerful frame is clad in shiny plate armor, meticulously polished to reflect the light, though it bears the marks of many battles. Her skin is a deep bronze, contrasting with the white streaks that adorn her mane of brown and white hair, which curls slightly at the tips. She wears a large earring in her left ear, a symbol of both her strength and her connection to the labyrinths she holds sacred.
Her broad, muscular arms are visible beneath the armor, and her snout is pronounced, with two large tusks protruding slightly from her lower jaw. Her eyes, keen and intelligent, are the color of polished amber, reflecting a sense of both determination and reverence for the paths she walks. The enormous greatsword she carries hangs over her shoulder, with the hilt extending above her shoulder and behind her head, the blade running straight down her back, ready for action.
Kolaiah proudly wears the emblematic badge of The Balanced Coin on her chest, signifying her membership in the adventuring group that shares her quest for exploration and discovery.
Her presence in the Yawning Portal speaks of an adventurer who has seen many lands—yet none more enticing than the winding, mysterious maze of Undermountain.

Vondal turns and offers a kindly nod as he turned to meet Astrillith. [b]"Other half of the coin indeed.
With all the talk of 'unbalanced coin' and Vondal's acknowledgement of not being 100% dwarf, an aasimar meeting his alignmental opposite seemed like the right thing to say.

Astrillith |

Following Kolaiah, by posting her description here too. But it can be found in her profile
Astrillith is a grimspawn tiefling. And like many others she has the traits to confirm it. Pale and thin skin. Her physique looks gaunt and very unnerving. She gives off the feeling that she is not very far from dying herself. Her hair, long and black barely covering a small pair of raven-like wings that sprout from her back, the one part of her that seems to have been taken care of meticulously. Only other feature that seems to really stand out is her eyes, sharp, keen, and the colour of absinthe, accented by her vest and tie. She wears a pale green vest and tie to set off a black suit, enforcing her almost-masculine build. Her wide-brimmed hat is more feminine.
Besides the well-tailored looking mithral shirt that hides under her jacket, she carries a deep black iron staff that often has her snake familiar wrapped around it, he goes by the name Pac, a green scaled viper that tends to hiss at anyone who gets too close to him, barring Astrillith
Her demeanor and sense of humor goes well with her heritage as it is usual dark and morbid. She does not mind conversation nor company, despite her outward appearance.
In her down time she often works on small jewelry pieces and trinkets adorned with an array of strange coloured gems, and often claims that the jewelry she is wearing is made by her own hand.

BY MORADIN'S HAMMER! So does Vondal, but rings are his focus. Wonder if we can get some Crafting Teamwork feats?!!

Gaelden the Lost |

Seeing as how everyone is putting in character descriptions....
This should give an idea of what she looks like. Image is taken from the custodes from 'The Tithes.' Could also imagine her being similar to Brienne of Tarth, only...strength 20. So larger. While Kolaiah will tower over Gaelden, when paired with most humans she will be noticeably larger. She looks like the kind of person who could do serious damage with her bare hands.

I haven't ported them yet to the profile.
Thanks for the reminder
I'll try to do that by tomorrow evening. As it's past 11pm atm

The godling doesn't see this as a problem. Ask Kolaiah. Vondal enjoys a good climb. ;p

Jambreth |

Jambreth is a typical elf in body size and shape, tall, slim, with pointed ears and large almost alien eyes. He enjoys wearing fine clothes and fancy duds when not on adventure, but rocks a mithral chain shirt over dark gray clothes while adventuring. He typically wears a dark green woolen cloak with hood attached, and comfortable leather boots.
He cuts his hair fairly short, if a bit raggedy, and unless dyed or otherwise altered its a dark oak brown.
He does not wear ostentatious jewelry or obvious weaponry, save for a knife/dagger, but he carries several tucked around his peraon in hidden spots, as well as a compact pistol crossbow.

Vondal "Silvertongue" Goldbeard |

Vondal Goldbeard is of average height for most dwarves, but that's where the similarities end. The godling has long, luxurious golden blonde hair that seem to glimmer even in the darkest of delves, with sapphire blue eyes that twinkle when working on his latest piece of jewelry. Under his mithril chainmail, Vondal has a well-muscled physique, free of blemish. As a clear indication of his other-worldly heritage, Vondal's tongue casts a metallic silvery sheen, which shines in the torchlight, distracting those he speaks with.
The godling currently sports mithril chainmail armor with a matching heavy mithril shield. Though Vondal seeks a nice pair of dragonmail as a replacement, either red or green. Vondal keeps his crossbow oiled and maintained. The magical battleaxe 'Gloryhewner' rests on his weapon belt, next to a leather sack on his shoulder.
Vondal Goldbeard IS NOT TYPICAL of dwarves in Faerun. The godling is very outgoing, friendly, and personable in his dealing with all beings; not just dwarves. Most traditional dwarves are taken back and repulsed by such behavior, but Vondal's overwhelming charisma often will win them over eventually.
The godling is very much his Father's son; eager to make a lucrative deal or exclusive item worth a high price. Negotiations and bargaining fills the dwarf with glee. Almost as much as Vondal loves to create unique pieces of jewelry. Creating beautiful rings is one of Vandal's many passions. Meeting and talking with beautiful women of any race is another. To his credit, Vondal does not openly discuss his various dalliances, but it is rumored to be very numerous.
Vondal also enjoys music. Both listening and playing it; the godling has an affinity toward stringed instruments. On long treks across land, Vindal will often pull out a lute or mandolin and play for his own amusement and for others. Sometimes the godling regrets not becoming a bard, but of his regrets, Vondal has few.
Vondal is a pious worshiper of the entire Morndinsamman, not just one deity. But the godling talks with his distant relatives very causally in prayer, which upsets the more conservative. Vondal just shrugs, feeling slightly sorry for those beings who do not have as close a relation with the dwarven gods as he does.
A few seasons ago, Vondal began a personal quest. The dwarf godling seeks any information on individuals whom call themselves sublime. It is a rare state of being Vondal hopes to achieve, either by cleric or magical means, following rumors of radiant beings, magical items and artifacts directly linked to The Positive Energy Plane, and the like. The godling sees becoming sublime as a major goal in one day becoming a full god, like his father.

Astrillith is tall. But probably the scrawniest of all in the party.
Slender ma'am :P

Really loving all the character and party building. So, when do we start? :)

Ceirn |

Ceirn is a slim and agile man who is of average height. He has long brown hair and the only obvious weapon he has on him is a spiked gauntlet.

To my fellow Pathfinders, adventurers, and companions in storytelling,
On this Thanksgiving Day, I want to take a moment to wish all my fellow countrymen and gaming friends a wonderful holiday. Whether your celebrations are grand feasts with family and friends or quiet moments of reflection and gratitude, may your day be filled with joy, warmth, and, of course, delicious food.
I am thankful for this shared journey of imagination, camaraderie, and the epic tales we create together. Here’s to more adventures, victories, and memorable moments to come!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I will be traveling all weekend. I doubt I will be able to post, so bot me as needed.

Vondal "Silvertongue" Goldbeard |

So. This post is on December 14th. RIZZENMAGNUS? You still around? Is ANYBODY still around?!

Vondal "Silvertongue" Goldbeard |

Understood. Thank you!

Gaelden the Lost |

I’m here, ready to enter Undermountain

Ceirn |

I am around.

Gaelden the Lost |

Happy holidays everyone!

Ceirn |

I will be at a conference from Friday through Monday. I am not sure how my posting will go. Feel free to bot me as needed.

Gaelden the Lost |

My apologies, I didn't see that there were updates. And it looks like the campaign was reset (I thought it had died)...

Gaelden the Lost |

all good gaelden. we are just discussing background stuff to streamline dice rolls and skill checks
im just going to type this out without putting it into OOC. itd be a lot of formatting i dont want to deal with.
the way i see it, the balanced coin is a group of experienced adventurers, so it would make sense that you guys quickly come up with a way to adventure/travel in the Realm's most well known (perhaps the most dangerous?) dungeon.
what i need
a marching order for a 5foot wide path
a marching order for a 10foot wide path
is someone going to scout ahead? if so, who? how far?
is someone going to lag behind to guard the rear? if so, who?
what is the light source for the group? who is holding it?i think these skills would cover the basics for the party.
perception
if you have a trap detection bonus, make a separate take ten perception with that bonus
disable device
Stealth
survivalif you have a skill that you think would work for you in the dungeon, feel free to include it
* Perception (+18)
No trap detection, stealth or survival. No light source. She would want to take point in the marching order.

Astrillith |

Skills
Bluff -1, 9
Craft (gemcutting) +18, 28
Craft (jewelry) +18, 28
Disguise -4, 6
Fly +8, 18
Intimidate +12, 22
Knowledge (arcana) +16,
Knowledge (dungeoneering) +16,
Knowledge (planes) +16,
Knowledge (religion) +13,
Ride +15, 25
Spellcraft +16; 26
As for marching order
She is both melee and caster so closer to the front won't be a bad thing.
Darkness isn't much of an issue for her. But she doesn't have ranks in perception

Gaelden the Lost |

* With Guidance from familiar
* Swim 1 SP (+9)
* Acrobatics 5 SP (+12)
* Knowledge Planes (+15)
* Knowledge Religion (+15)
* Diplomacy (+17)
* Intimidate (+17)
* Perception (+18)

Ceirn |

perception +14 [Take 10= 24]
Stealth +16 [Take 10= 26]
Swim +11
I am all ranged, but fairly hardy. So I am happy to be in the rear position in single file and in the rear row in the 10 ft range.
I do not think scouting is a grand idea. We have light sources in this group so creatures will see us from a distance. If we had mass darkvision of some sort and the group as a whole doesn't sound like a marching band, that might change.

Vondal "Silvertongue" Goldbeard |

Thanks for posting, Astrillith. I now have a better idea what RIZZENMAGNUS wanted.
Vondal is a front-line fighter, with HP to spare. The dwarf will try to use his darkvision to try and see what the surface races can't.
Perception: +7
Sense Motive: +5
Survival: +5
Stealth: +1
