Mazer has 10 ft reach, so that charge should provoke an AOO?
glamered tactical baton: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 (reach 10 ft.)
Damage (B): 1d4 ⇒ 4

It does and Mazer hits it as it goes by ((-38))

Sovellis strides forward raising his sword into a high guard. His starknife appears in his open hand. He hacks at the creature while swinging wide to get to a flanking position.
Move as shown. If it's got reach it'll get an AoO.
Longsword v KAC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 .... damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Nip whips past Rahosa.
“Stay back and let us handle this thing. Watch for Nindir.”
She raises her hands reaches out with her mind. This time, the connection holds.
I wonder if I can rip out some of your seams...
Sickly green-black mist shoots from Nip’s hands toward the creature’s head.
Casting level 1 Mind Thrust. DC 14 will save for half damage.
Damage: 2d10 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
“It might be shielded somehow. My spells aren’t getting through!”
Shielded by the dice roller!! The technology is conspiring against us.

Even if it makes it's save, that is enough to drop it. At the same time, Switch disables the turret by unplugging it.
A voice comes from behind it.
I surrender. Please don't kill me

"Hands over your head where we can see them! Do you have any idea how many safety violations you have racked up, I'm going to need to hire a secretary to help with all the paperwork, that's getting added to the safety fine too!"

A male kasathan comes out from behind the turret with his hands on his head. (picture on slides).
There’s no sign of Nindir until the dust settles. A clattering sound rings through the laboratory as a ceiling tile falls to the floor. A tall, slender kasatha lands gracefully beside it, her headscarves fluttering as she runs to embrace Rahosa.
Nindir tells you the story of how she and Rahosa were enjoying a picnic to celebrate her new job at the boutique and his acceptance into a prestigious medical school in lower Khovi. As they discussed their plans for the future, the leporines attacked and chased the lovers toward the facility they’d escaped from. Terrified, Nindir and Rahosa fled into the tunnels and got lost in the underground facility. The security malfunction that released the leporines allowed the teens to hide in a maintenance shaft until the leporines lost interest. Nindir and Rahosa aren’t sure how long they’d been exploring, hiding, and stealing supplies from the facility, but soon they realized someone else had arrived and turned the facility’s security system back on. Their attempt to escape through the front door ended when the laser turret shot at Nindir. Before they could find another way out, the carusidae attacked them and stung Rahosa.

"So heya, what's this all about, anyhow?" Nixxer asks the male kasatha.

Salamazarin glares at the male kasatha. "Anyone have any binders on them? This one has earned a long visit with ship security."
The sarcesian's stormy expression softens as she turns to the reunited couple and listens to Nindir's tale. "You're safe now. Your parents are worried sick about you, Nindir. I imagine your family must be, too, Rahosa."

"Anyone have any binders on them? This one has earned a long visit with ship security."
Nippostia reaches into her backpack and produces a set of binders.
“Here you go. I’ll let you do the honors.”
Nip turns to the happy couple. “We found out some of your plans for the future as we searched for you. It sounds very exciting. Keep going — follow your dreams.”

While others tend to binding the prisoner Pockets gets busy and puts lockout tag-out tags on the laser turrets.
"He's got a lot of hands if you need more binders I got some too, now I got one long safety report to write up. Does anyone have anything to add to the report?"
Pockets starts checking lots of checkboxes on his trusty datapad.

Nippostia reaches back into her pack and gets the other set of restraints.
“Here you go, but you probably don’t need both sets.”
She points as she talks. “If you cuff the dominant upper arm to the weaker opposite lower arm, it throws off their coordination.”
She pauses for a moment.
“I read that in a study. Don’t make it weird. I mean, unless you want to…”
She wiggles her eyebrows and winks.

Nippostia's commentary gets an appreciative chuckle out of Salamazarin. "Arshea doesn't judge what happens between consenting adults." She glances at the other two kasathans as she speaks, clearly meaning her words to apply to their affair as well.
The sarcesian quickly and efficiently cuffs Hynes, even incorporating the gnome's suggestion, but her baleful glare at him during the process makes it clear she's in no sympathetic mood when it comes to his activities.

"So heya, all's well that ends well--made that up, I did! Guess we oughtta strip this place clean and get these crazy kids back to their folks and whatnot."

"We need to learn this one's story as well. What's your name? What is this place and what are you doing here?" Sovellis wants to know more about their captive.

"We got your data files and we're not leaving until you talk so let's get to the important part first, where do you keep the coffee around here?"
Pockets starts reviewing the data we collected.

It doesn't take long for Switch to get coffee.

You get your Primary Success condition for rescuing Nindir and Rahosa and also your Secondary Success. Plus you gain one additional reputation with the Second Seeker (Ehu Hadif) faction.
Chronicles out in a few days.

Before saying goodbye to the rescued couple, Salamazarin conveys her sincere wishes for their future happiness. They've helped each other survive a rather harrowing experience. In comparison, weathering the reactions of their families learning of their relationship will hopefully seem less terrifying. Perhaps their devotion to each other will even help inspire their communities to improve their understanding and opinion of each other.
At the ceremony dinner, the sarcesian once again proves to be among the most at ease of her team. A born performer, she seems to thrive in the spotlight!
Day Job: Profession (dancer): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26 = 52 credits

"So about the safety fines... Ok Ok Ok I'll drop the finds for the cost of arranging an orbital bombardment to remove the safety hazard since we neutralized it ourselves, but someone paying for my damaged safety vest, and here's a list of other damaged clothing from the team. Normally I only take credits, but in this case, I'd settle for some of that fresh cheese you have here, did I mention that's the best cheese I've ever had, and that's saying a lot 'cause I'll eat just about anything."
Day jobProfession maintenance worker with tools: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

Sovellis dresses his best for the dinner, eschewing his hidden soldier armor for street clothes. In elven fashion he goes masked, sky-tinged white ceramic above with a colorful triangular bandana below that he can remove while eating.
Cautious about making a diplomatic slip in such company, he remains quiet and lets the others, most notably Switch, Nip and Mazar, speak for the party.
Day job, mercenary: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Apparently he has trouble finding a good post after the mission. He'll be eager for his next one.

"A... ceremony dinner?" Grimalki seems somewhat suspicious at the offer. "Being on this side of things is really weird."
Still, she goes nonetheless, and despite her initial reservations ends up having a good time (although she has absolutely no idea how to maintain proper manners in that situation).
Day Job, Smuggler: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Nixxer knows a fellow pro when he sees one, and makes sure to sit next to Grimalki so they can have a discreet chat later.
We've both got Profession (Smuggler)! Although judging by my Day Job result, Grimalki is much more successful than me :)

“A dinner? For us?” She squees. “This will be wonderful!”
Nippostia breezes into the dinner in a silky forest green halter dress with rose quartz accents. Cascades of bright red curls frame her face, bringing out the emerald in her eyes.
She stays close to Sovellis, knowing that public social events aren’t his preferred gatherings. She greets the dignitaries, smiles at the conversations, and occasionally laughs a little louder than is appropriate.
As the dinner wraps up, she looks to her new -- and returning -- friends.
“What a mission! We got the bad guy, saved the lovebirds, put down some monstrosities, and—”
Nip suddenly leans forward and purses her lips into a playful frown.
“Oh, no you don't... Switch, put that silverware back!”
