After casting the light spell on Gothia's shield, TT moves toward the back of the group, sling in hand but her trusty sap hanging from her belt within easy reach.

As you enter the chapel, you see it. A large pile of gold coins (gold pieces), rubies, sapphires, diamonds, emeralds, and onyxes. On this pile is a naga, who is on the altar. Behind her is a large idol of Wastri.

Vesica immediately starts inspiring her allies, knowing that the party will need every little advantage possible to defeat the Reptile God. She also drops her sling, draws her sap, and closes on the snake monster.

In addition to the +1 to attack and damage rolls, the +1 bonus to saves against charms may prove important here!

Once TT begins her inspiration, Sea Ranger is a step behind and a bit to the side of Gothia as she charges the naga. The half-elf isn't sure whether the creature can cast spells, but he figures if they're spread out some, all the better. When he reaches the naga, he slashes with his scimitar.

Figure about 20' to one side of Gothia? Will try to get flanking next round, perhaps.

Gothia moves forward, and all suddenly feel a wave of certainty and bravery wash over them. Calling upon her god, Gothia swings at the naga.

Suddenly, a wizard comes into the fray. "You need to pay for your blasphemy," he says. He first casts Dispel Magic on Gothia. "No more your judgment will be clouded."

Dispel Magic on Gothia: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Since the wizard's magic overcomes the Naga's charm person DC, the spell was lifted from Gothia.

"You bereaved me of my servant!" the Naga yells. She tries to cast confusion at Chestman Barrelhouse!

"You will die, self styled naga goddess," says the wizard.

"How dare you take my free will and try to pervert it to your agenda. You will die as a sacrifice to my god and his principles!"
Gothia bends down and retrieves her sword and moves towards the naga with holy retribution in her eyes.

Not too sure if I can retrieve my sword and attack in the same round

It takes one action to pick up your sword, and another action to attack. You can move in to attack with a swift action. And that will be your actions this round.

Ouch, missed the window! I checked the board on Monday and was waiting for GM post, then got caught up with tax deadline of Oct 15th. Oh well, I'll post for the next round now so I don't miss it again.

Sea Ranger leaves off attacking his allies to put down the naga herself. He calls out for Scout to do what he can to help as he attacks with sword and shield as he flanks with TT.

"I'll make you all worship me in the end!" says the Naga as she burns.

Both Sea Ranger and Scout managed to finish her off! Chestman Barrelhouse is still under the confusion effect. The wizard casts another dispel magic at Chestman.

And Chestman is returned to his normal self.

Oh, you all gain a level.

"That was a very timely intervention," Vesica says to the wizard stranger. Curtsying slightly, she adds, "I am called Tavern Tale...." She then introduces the others. "And who might you be, friend?"

When she gets a chance, she whispers to Sea Ranger, "Any chance you could skin the naga? I'll bet her hide would make great boots...maybe even some stylish leggings for everyone's favorite bard!" After a moment, she says to everyone, "Should we maybe take the Reptile God's head as well? Proof of our victory so the villagers can live their lives without a shadow of fear in their hearts?"
