Vesica "Tavern Tale"
Vesica can have one light spell going at any time. Anyone want it cast on one of their weapons or a shield, or shall I have Vesica cast it on her sap to light up the middle/rear of the party?
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
After casting the light spell on Gothia's shield, TT moves toward the back of the group, sling in hand but her trusty sap hanging from her belt within easy reach.
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
Vesica immediately starts inspiring her allies, knowing that the party will need every little advantage possible to defeat the Reptile God. She also drops her sling, draws her sap, and closes on the snake monster.
In addition to the +1 to attack and damage rolls, the +1 bonus to saves against charms may prove important here!
Gothia VonSalais
"Finally...We shall defeat you, foul beast, and the glory of Heironeous shall prevail!"
The paladin rushed the naga and swung her mighty sword at the hideous creature.
Do we need initiative rolls?? If so, mine is below
Init: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (7) + 0 = 7
Sea Ranger
Once TT begins her inspiration, Sea Ranger is a step behind and a bit to the side of Gothia as she charges the naga. The half-elf isn't sure whether the creature can cast spells, but he figures if they're spread out some, all the better. When he reaches the naga, he slashes with his scimitar.
Figure about 20' to one side of Gothia? Will try to get flanking next round, perhaps.
Initiative Roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Scimitar Attack (w/ Inspiration): 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 5 + 1 = 17
Scimitar Damage (w/ Inspiration): 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 = 10
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
Vesica Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
Vesica seems to lose her focus for an instant but then fights off the spell!
Vesica Will Saving Throw (IC +1): 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 = 17
Inspire Courage bonus just saved her butt!
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
Tavern Tale moves in and swings her magical sap at the monster, hoping to give an ally a flanking bonus as they join the fray.
Vesica +2 sap (IC): 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 1 = 9 for bludgeoning, magic, nonlethal damage (IC +1): 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 = 10
Gothia VonSalais

Gothia moves forward, and all suddenly feel a wave of certainty and bravery wash over them. Calling upon her god, Gothia swings at the naga.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 2 = 26
Damage: 1d10 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 3 = 21
All have +4 vs fear due to paladin aura. Also using smite evil!
EltonJ
That wasn't a miss Gothia. Alenthieal, it's your call. After you done, it's my turn.
I'm robotting Alenthieal.
..
.
Alenthieal fires his bow at the naga.
Longbow attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26; damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

NEXT ROUND!
The naga tries again to cast charm person. This time against Gothia!
Gothia, roll a will save vs. DC 17.
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
TT keeps spouting inspirational--if highly exaggerated--boasts and claims of what she and her friends are going to do to the nasty monster, ending by claiming that they'll soon be making boots from the naga's hide. Flanking opposite Chestman, she swings her sap at the snake-woman's temple.
Vesica +2 sap (IC, flank): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 21 for bludgeoning, magic, nonlethal damage plus SA precision damage: 1d6 + 3 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 + (4) = 14
Gothia VonSalais
Gothia turns and blankly stares at her companions. Seeming in a daze, the paladin answers the call of the Naga.
"Yes mistress...I ...will...protect you!"
She turns on her friends and attacks.
She will most likely go after Sea Ranger first...
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
I have never felt so happy to crit fail on an attack!!!

That's a fumble. You drop your weapon!
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
Vesica tries to keep inspiring those friends who haven't switched to the naga's side, continuing to flank opposite Chestman. Again she swings her magical sap at the monster.
Vesica +2 sap (IC, flank): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 18 for bludgeoning, magic, nonlethal damage (IC): 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6

It's MY TURN!
Suddenly, a wizard comes into the fray. "You need to pay for your blasphemy," he says. He first casts Dispel Magic on Gothia. "No more your judgment will be clouded."
Dispel Magic on Gothia: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Since the wizard's magic overcomes the Naga's charm person DC, the spell was lifted from Gothia.
"You bereaved me of my servant!" the Naga yells. She tries to cast confusion at Chestman Barrelhouse!
Chestman, will DC at 17
"You will die, self styled naga goddess," says the wizard.
NEXT ROUND!

Coming to, but suddenly realizing what might have happened, a holy rage infuses the paladin.
"How dare you take my free will and try to pervert it to your agenda. You will die as a sacrifice to my god and his principles!"
Gothia bends down and retrieves her sword and moves towards the naga with holy retribution in her eyes.
Not too sure if I can retrieve my sword and attack in the same round

It takes one action to pick up your sword, and another action to attack. You can move in to attack with a swift action. And that will be your actions this round.

Will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

[ooc] Good for what ails you
While raging, the barbarian who takes a drink of alcohol may attempt a new saving throw against one of the following conditions that may be affecting her: blinded, confused, dazzled, deafened, exhausted, fatigued, frightened, nauseated, panicked, shaken, or sickened. If she succeeds at the save, the effect is suppressed for the duration of the rage. She also may attempt a new saving throw if poisoned; a successful save counts against those required for a cure, but a failed save has no ill effect[/dice]
Will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Sea Ranger
Ouch, missed the window! I checked the board on Monday and was waiting for GM post, then got caught up with tax deadline of Oct 15th. Oh well, I'll post for the next round now so I don't miss it again.
Sea Ranger leaves off attacking his allies to put down the naga herself. He calls out for Scout to do what he can to help as he attacks with sword and shield as he flanks with TT.
Scimitar Attack (+Flanking +Inspired): 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 24 = Possible Crit!
Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 12 = Negative!

Bite Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
Vesica keeps inspiring her beleaguered allies and shifts her positioning slightly, now flanking opposite Sea Ranger. Again she tries to swing her sap near the naga's head, but this time she's merely trying to distract it so Gothia can get a cleaner strike at the monster.
Vesica +2 sap (Aid Another--Gothia's Attack Roll; IC, flank): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 23 SUCCESS! +2 to Gothia's next attack.
EltonJ
The wizard with you casts firebolt at the Naga.
"Take that, you blaggard!" exclaims the wizard. His flame arrow was heightened with Spell Penetration added.
"I'll make you all worship me in the end!" says the Naga as she burns.
ROUND 3 ENDS!
ROUND 4 BEGINS!
Both Sea Ranger and Scout managed to finish her off! Chestman Barrelhouse is still under the confusion effect. The wizard casts another dispel magic at Chestman.
Dispel Magic: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
And Chestman is returned to his normal self.
Oh, you all gain a level.
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
"That was a very timely intervention," Vesica says to the wizard stranger. Curtsying slightly, she adds, "I am called Tavern Tale...." She then introduces the others. "And who might you be, friend?"
When she gets a chance, she whispers to Sea Ranger, "Any chance you could skin the naga? I'll bet her hide would make great boots...maybe even some stylish leggings for everyone's favorite bard!" After a moment, she says to everyone, "Should we maybe take the Reptile God's head as well? Proof of our victory so the villagers can live their lives without a shadow of fear in their hearts?"
Vesica "Tavern Tale"
When she gets the chance, TT also casts detect magic and makes a physical scan of the area for any treasures.
Vesica Perception Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
