"This creature is a behir! As we already saw it can grab, constrict, and then either rake or swallow its prey, so be careful!!"
This creature is an advanced savage behir. Behirs are temperamental and avaricious creatures that spend most of their time slithering through the sandy hills and desert cliffs that make up its territory, preying upon all creatures who dare to enter its hunting grounds. The creature’s six pairs of powerful, clawed legs remain folded against its sides most of the time, only extending in combat to grapple foes or carry the behir forward in a terrifying, low-slung gallop, or else when climbing the sheer cliff faces common to behir lairs.
Grab (Ex) A behir’s grab attack works against creatures of any size category. It can constrict the same round it establishes a hold. On any round thereafter that it maintains its hold, the behir can choose to rake the grappled target or swallow it whole.
It's too close for comfort - I'll better move away from it.

Would you mind to check the damage total done to the monster again? It had already taken 47 damage, then Merida hit twice for 12 and 36 (crit) piercing damage, then Nightkit cast MM for 9 force damage.
The behir has DR 5/slashing, and I also think it has some DR against piercing, but I cannot figure it out - if it was DR 5/piercing, then I'd get a result of 94 total damage (47+7+31+9), not 82.
Am I missing something that I cannot know (yet)?

@GM: I am sorry if I question you again, but...
I don't mind being questioned, math is not my strong suit, and I do make mistakes. Also, the adventure doesn't provide full stats for this creature but only references the Bestiary and tells me to apply two templates and mythic. In short, there are potentially a number of steps in which I could have made errors.
To that end, I don't mind laying my cards out on the table. The advanced savage behir's AC is 27 (21 base stat, +4 to AC for advanced template, and +2 natural armor for savage template). The savage template also grants the creature DR 5/epic.
With that knowledge, feel free to point out mistakes that need correcting (including any below).

Nightkit and Merida dealt 10 damage. Just give us 1-2 rounds, then it should be done.
I do not wish to bog the party down in cutting out an ally, but the time it takes to cut him out determines how much damage Theron takes and, perhaps, how much time the party decides to take to recover and continue what is essentially a chase.
Hitting the dead creature should not be a difficulty as I am fine with the party taking 10 on attack rolls. The DR/epic is the issue. Still, the party is close to meeting the damage threshold.

Although the behir has mentioned others having passed this way, the severe winds and hard ground make it impossible to locate any tracks. However, the party is able to infer that continuing down the valley is the natural route forward and is likely the path taken by their quarry.
The trail descends among many red sandstone arches and hoodoos as the afternoon sun heats the rock formations to baking temperatures. Periodically, you find signs of Kafar and Nefti’s passage, such as a discarded bottle, footprint, or shred of cloth.
All the while, the Osirion sun burns overhead.
Each PC must attempt two Fortitude checks to resist the very hot weather conditions in this region.
As the afternoon heat abates, the party begins ascending taller peaks.
If the PCs intend to rest during their pursuit of the Aspis Consortium agents, doing so now—late in the day but before getting high into the mountains—is the best time to do so. Otherwise, I will assume that the party presses on.
After hours of hiking, the scarps on the sides of the canyon gradually descend, until the whole of the terrain becomes a gradual slope encircled by distant mountains and deep chasms.
Unless the party has chosen to rest for the night... night is rapidly falling.
The party finds itself upon a plateau. From here, the open valley offers an unobstructed view of the region, and the party spots a campsite on a mountain nearby, signs of a campfire being clearly visible to the party from just a few miles away. The signal soon disappears, but it is enough to confirm that the party is on the right path.
Upon reaching the campsite, over an hour later, the party finds a recently extinguished fire, bloodied bandages, and fresh tracks.
