So, how did you know about Mites and jazz hands?
That was something I did in the very first PFS game I GMed!
Hmm

I know! I was hoping you'd like my mention about it. I remember reading your post way back then and I still find it hilarious.

[dice=Stealth, take 10]10+8Unfortunately, you can't take 10 on a stealth check since there is a possibility of an immediate threat, especially versus an opposed perception check. I'll go ahead and take the 18, though, instead of having you reroll.
Edit: Just read a few posts from long ago about Taking 10. One was from Sean K. Reynolds. It's kinda iffy on a stealth check, but, you're group is pretty sure there's danger down that eastern passage.
So there is a lot of disagreement on when a character can or can not Take 10. Can they Take 10 to climb a ladder? There is a chance of falling, but assuming they are not in combat they can just be careful about what they are doing.
If you would prefer I not Take 10 on Stealth for the rest of the game, I will abide by that. Personally I allow it but different GMs have different comfort levels with this rule.
Thanks,
Bret

"When your character is not in immediate danger or distracted, you may choose to take 10."
I believe stepping into an ambush would put you in immediate danger, even if you suspected there might be enemies up there.
Now, when you're just traveling down the halls, and choose to take 10, that's fine. However, if you end up within sight of something that can detect you with perception, then a straight roll might be needed depending on movement.
However, with the light sources behind you (I actually would need to check who's carrying a source of light since I forgot), I should have probably called that stealth is pointless with the light behind you illuminating a silhouette of yourself.
It's late and I'm quite tired so I might not be thinking clearly or making any sense.
G'night! We'll chat tomorrow ;)

Alright, good night!
For my character, if I Take 10 and you do not consider it reasonable go ahead and Bot the roll. That way we don’t slow down the game.
You should probably also look at my Botting for traps and tell me ahead of time if you have objections to it. Feel free to ask questions, I am quite willing to explain and will not take insult from being questioned.

Did we lose Damiar?
I hope I didn't offend them for using an old amusing reference (the jazz hands thing). I thought it was funny and it made me laugh over the years.
I thought they'd be flattered by me giving it a mention after all this time.

She has been very busy the last few days with local things. She is at work today, but I will nudge her tonight and see what happens.
I think she did appreciate the Jazz Hands reference.

I also think she appreciated it, otherwise she wouldn’t have resurrected her old thread. ;-)
And thanks to your mention I learned something new today, too, because I (as a non-native speaker) didn't know about jazz hands before! :-D

@Roll4Initative,
You seem to have double posted and botted Damiar’s save twice. The first post she successfully saved.

GM Roll4initiative |

Oh snap! Didn't notice. The post didn't seem to go through at first so I backed out and reposted.
Damiar is not stunned.

Sorry, I had a gig deadline and I finished it, and have just started up being an in person VC for Minnesota, so this week has been busy. Oh, and our region's big con is this coming week.
But on the plus side, one of my scenarios was described nicely in the most recent Paizo Blog.

Congratulations! Wish I could make Skalcon; it sounds like a great convention.

Just 4 info: Damiar would have saved in the second post as well, because she is a bard! :-D
Well-Versed (Ex) At 2nd level, the bard becomes resistant to the bardic performance of others, and to sonic effects in general. The bard gains a +4 bonus on saving throws made against bardic performance, sonic, and language-dependent effects.
Damiar has included this in her profile but not her header, however.

Hilary and I (Damiar and Iovo) will be at a convention this weekend. I should be able to post at least once a day, but it may be somewhat irregular.

Have fun at the Con! Congrats on promotion to VC, Hmm!
(If it's Skâlcon you're going to, I need to get my hands on one of the T-shirts! If you have a link where I can purchase one, please send!)

I am having no luck finding a definitive answer to my inquiry on whether or not an ooze's acid attack ignores the hardness to armor and weapons.
It makes sense to me that it would ignore hardness, or else you have to roll a 6 on a d6 to only do 1 point of damage to a staff, and that's after failing the Dex check to avoid the damage. And then there's no danger to attacking it with a weapon with a hardness of 10.
Ugh.
Edit: I think I answered my own question with my sentence about the hardness of 10.
I'm going to rule that the ooze's acid ignores hardness. If you make the Reflex save, the item takes no damage.

Does the spell protect my gear, too?
Yes.
Resist Energy says “The spell protects the recipient's equipment as well.”

I must say, you all whipped this scenario's butt. I chose mostly "moderate" challenge creatures and thought it was going to be tough on you all.
Boy, was I wrong. Excellent job, team!
I already sent RPGChronicles reporting info to Con HQ.
I may need some help with chronicles. Dozens of items need to be crossed off the sheet except the items you found. If anyone can edit pdfs, it'd be greatly appreciated to have your help.

I also can edit PDFs. I have an app on my iPad which can do it. It would be easy for me to strike through items assuming that is what you want. PM me if you want me to do it instead.

GM Roll4initiative |

Yep. It's just striking through items. I'll post the link to chronicles tonight with a list of items not to be crossed out.

I cannot hope to express my opinion about this game any better than Salvio did. Therefore:
Thanks for running, GM R!
Thanks to everyone for a great game, especially Iovo and Damiar--excellent RP, and it felt like you inspired the rest of us.
Seconded! :-)

GM Roll4initiative |

Awesome, fun game! It was a pleasure GMing for you all. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
Link to your chronicles is >>HERE<<, however, wait until they've been updated with items crossed out. Salvio, just let us know when they're ready. Thank you for doing it!
Following is the list of items not to be crossed out for tier 3-4. (GM gets access to everything, though, so don't cross anything off Corenthiir's sheet, please.)
Treasure for Story Threat: The treasure is a glowing glove, a potion of heroism, and a pouch of void dust.
Treasure for Linked Threat: The treasure is an aegis of recovery, a set of bracers of armor +1, a potion of neutralize poison, and a potion of remove disease.
Additional Treasure: A pair of eyes of the eagle, a potion of cure moderate wounds, a potion of invisibility, and two potions of protection from chaos.
I suppose not everything needs to be crossed out since some are "always available" CRB items (i.e. amulet of natural armor +1, belt of incredible dexterity +2, circlet of persuasion, etc...) However, the partially charged wands should be crossed out.

Working on it now. Just to clarify, all of the Subtier 6-7 items should be crossed out? Only the bottom third or so are.
ETA: one other thing. Many of the treasure items don't appear on the chronicle sheet--none of the potions do, nor do the bracers.

GM Roll4initiative |

Yeah. All 6-7 subtier gets crossed out. RPGChronicles is used to small boxes of treasure which is why the X is that size.
I guess since those potions are always available items they didn't bother putting them on the list. Just cross out anything not on that list I gave you. Thanks a ton!

If everything worked, the revised chronicles should be available for download HERE. Let me know if there are any issues with them. GM R, I didn't edit Corenthiir's chronicle, so it's not in the folder.

Rarely. I mainly run in-person PFS2e games in my hometown. Im a VA in Denver.
Since there are never any in person PFS1e games, I pretty much just do those PbP.
Cheers!
