Maps & Stuff

Recruiting for PCs of levels 1-3. Higher levels may be considered if it looks like we go high tier.
To be considered for this game, please post the following information:

Player name/handle:
Character's Name:
PFS #:
PC Faction:
Played or GM'd this?:

Anything else about your PC you would like the GM or the players know:

Chosen players will enter their info on RPGChronicles after I get it set up.
I like to have the characters do their Day Jobs during or after the game. Standard posting rates apply; 1 post/weekday & 1 post/weekend, however, I like to post more than once/day to keep the action & story moving.

Let's have a super awesome fun game!

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Player name/handle: Soulnova
Character's Name: Lanel Brandain
PFS #: 29065-02
PC Faction: Liberty Edge
Played or GM'd this?: Nope.

Anything else about your PC you would like the GM or the players know: Lannel is frail and squishy but can pack a punch with Burning Hands if he gets a free angle. He doesn't have swim. He's terrible at it. He will likely need to get a few things that might interest everyone:

* Touch of the sea scrolls/potions
* Swim Fins add 10ft to swim speed (reduce land speed -5ft)
* Masterwork Flippers for +2 on swim checks without swim speed
* Masterwork Snorkel keeps it from flooding inside
* Cork Vest to avoid going under (must fail 10 or more)
* Flotation Device +1 swim check

Most of this is mundane and cheap.

The Concordance

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Player name/handle: Nomadical
Character's Name: Kai Makani
PFS #: 151562-14
PC Faction: Concordance
Played or GM'd this?: Played

Anything else about your PC you would like the GM or the players know: Merfolk! Concordance! Ocean's Echo oracle which means he's a full-caster with Inspire Courage and Inspire Competence. Talks like a surfer, dude. This is my final PF1 character, and getting to play a merfolk in a water-based scenario is a rarity. Do note that it's a replay, and he's level 4, though would happily play down to go swimming.

The Exchange

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Player name/handle: GM DavidC
Character's Name: Galadad
PFS #:108344-51
PC Faction: Silver Crusade
Played or GM'd this?: Played, not GMed

Anything else about your PC you would like the GM or the players know:
Galadad is a Necromancer of life. He's level 3. He has the Life subdomain so he can, in fact, do minor healing. He's Silver Crusade, and really, really good, but he looks evil. He has a 12 charisma so mechanically this doesn't give him a penalty, it's just an initial impression.

Player name/handle: PDK
Character's Name: Princess Mindy
PFS #: 4456-17

Grand Lodge

i are here...let me see what I can bring to the table...will make choice later today...

Dark Archive

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Player Name: FriendlyNeighborhoodMadScientis
Character Name: Dr. Avery Bellows
PFS #:227485-3
Faction: Dark Archive
Played or GMed this? Nope!

Things to know:

Doctor Avery Bellows was, for quite some time, one of the foremost experts in monster taxonomy, with a particular focus on demonology. However, in the past few years, he's been acting quite peculiarly: going dark for weeks at a time, showing up unannounced with knowledge of things yet to happen, or appearing again with no knowledge of things that happened just days ago. Even his career in the Pathfinder Society started strangely: about a week before he signed up to be an agent, he appeared in the grand lodge claiming to have been an agent for years, and remembered nothing about it when he was signing up later.

He can breathe underwater and has a swim speed, so that part shouldn't be an issue. He primarily fights at range, and has a decent number of skills. However, he is, as a huge nerd, incredibly frail.

Excited to play—Will post info tonight.

Wow! Lots of interested people. Some of those that expressed interest a few weeks ago are here.

SoulNova
Jhaeman
grimdog73
Mage of the Wyrmkin

I'll wait another day or so to see if Shadow Dragon shows up. I'll take a total of 6 PCs. Those that haven't played or GM'd and new-ish players will have priority in joining (Dr. Avery & Princess Mindy so far).

Silver Crusade

I'm here. :) Mostly in one piece but I was the victim of a car accident two weeks ago...

Looking at the PCs so far it appears we need some kind of melee meatshield but a rogue wouldn't be a bad idea either. Does anyone have a preference? I have a L1 Barbarian and a L2 Rogue who can sort of frontline.

Player name/handle: Shadow Dragon
Character's Name: TBD - Looks like we need melee or rogue?
PFS #: 2369921
PC Faction: Neither is Concordance
Played or GM'd this?: Never played or GMed it.

Anything else about your PC you would like the GM or the players know:

Depends on which one is going. The Barbarian, it's only his 2nd outing so his 'character' isn't fully formed yet. Think a Vudran thug who talks smack. :) The rogue is a streetwise goon who tries to be affable while plotting to steal things. I just remembered I also have a L2 Magus who is also a melee character.

Grand Lodge

Im bringing in a lvl 3 slayer...so a rogue is good

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I have a feeling I'm late to the party, but just in case there is a need for a two weapon fighter.
Player name/handle: CorbinEbert
Character's Name: Torgen of Port Ice - Level 2
PFS #: 84155-5
PC Faction: Liberty Edge
Played or GM'd this?: Never played or GMed it.

Quick aside: I'm a daily poster (and can keep up to multiple times a day) that focuses on story and in character banter over combat.
The character is a Dwarf and probably not going to be helpful/happy during the water portion of the adventure. Admittedly, he's not efficient for the adventure, but that might lead to some slapstick comedy.
Lastly: He's also a cigar smoker that's trying really hard to quit smoking.

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.

With Grimdog's Slayer I'd go with either a L1 Barby or a L2 Magus. Neither is Concordance.

Liberty's Edge

Thank you GM! If there's an opening (later) in this or another of your games- I'd love to include Torgen in the crafting of one of your stories.
To you and the other 6 players-- Have a great game!

Grand Lodge

hey..grimdog73 here..i've been slacking today...just have to update the profile after leveling him up...other than that good to go..will do the sign i thing when back at computer...

Grand Lodge

I'm thinking the L1 Barby even though he only has one PFS scenario under his belt so he's going to be equipment and cash poor. But he has the same HPs as the L2 Magus and the Barby hits harder.
What does everyone else think? The Magus would have the flexibility provided by wands, scrolls, etc. so that's another point to consider.

Silver Crusade

In addition to Lanel's list I'd also consider Scroll/Potion of Air Bubble since Touch of the Sea does not confer water breathing.

Liberty's Edge

That's right. I completely forgot about it. Thanks.

@Ekadan
I'm not sure what Nistivo is but for the looks of it, we already have two arcane casters, one melee and one ranged. I'd say another muscle might be a good option.
