I'm going to have intermittent posting issues for the the indeterminate future. I'd like to stay in the game and will do my best to keep up because I'm really going to need an outlet. But at time I may have issues posting. But I understand if you would prefer to have a clean break, especially while you are already recruiting.

the long ugly version:

My dad got out of the hospital today after brain surgery a week ago. The hospital thinks that it's A-OK to send him home even though he can't even get out a chair without help, and his lucidity comes and goes. My mother has mobility issues as well, so I'm going to be taking care of both of them. We'll have a caregiver part of the time four days a week.

We got the pathology back, and it's glioblastoma. Aggressive brain cancer. The overall survival average is 12-18 months. My dad is 83, also has a heart condition and doesn't think it's worth extending his life if those months are sick on chemo.

So I may be a mess for a while, and I ask you to be tolerant and bot me when I can't make it to the boards.

My dad, who was my best friend growing up, passed away from cancer in 98 when I was 17

I found out on a Sun, and even though I could have skipped school that Mon, I went cuz I needed my after school gaming club.

It's 100% understandable what you're goin through, and how important it is to have a game like this as an escape.

Are we gonna be tracking entirely mundane ammo? If not these are my purchases:

That leaves me with 30g, which I might spend on helping to equip Grumbles.


Normally I let the players track ammo, but alchemy stuff like acid and chemist fire I want tracked. I am not the fun police. If you are a dedicated archer build I tend to get a bit more tracker and also gunfighters...

I just meant like non magical, non masterwork, non alchemical, purely mundane crossbow bolts.

Obviously Talia isn't a dedicated archer, but she is somewhat of an alchemist/poisoner, so those creations will be tracked.

Assuming we're allowed fun stuff, I've given Clarissa a pair of boomerangs. They're ranged and exotic and she has no idea how to use them, and likely neither does anyone else. Makes for a fun gift in melee I should think.

Sorry for the delay guys. Despite getting about 11 hours of sleep Sun-Mon, I was absolutely exhausted yesterday.

Talia traded out the trapfinding class feature, but she can still disable mundane traps with a +9 to DD.

Do we know if the trap(s) are magical? I sure hope we have somebody capable of casting Detect Magic, lol

If we don't have access to Detect Magic cantrip I'm happy to change one of Wiktor's out to cover this.

I'm a dummy, and forgot to add my 2nd level HP, nor did I pick a rogue talent.

I'm looking at either Bomber which would let me make 4 bombs per day or Hairpin Trick which would make me that much better at disarming traps.

I'm a mad bomber at heart, so I say Bombs. But the choice should be yours your the one that has to play her.

This is a hard choice. I would tend to say traps first because traps are usually pretty hard on low-level parties, but tend to be just an annoyance later.

But it's an online game, so you might want to go for the fun boomy option now.
