As Bon Jon has the shadowform spell on him I assume the spider will need to make a DC25 will save against the spell to avoid only doing 20% damage to Bon Jon?

Also Patrick, wouldn't your magic missile have had fired more than 3 missiles at your level?

I don't believe I have anything that grants a reroll for that to my knowledge so I'll just take it.

Edit: Oh, didn't know you were referring to a second Reflex roll you had already done. I'll reroll for that one if you're allowing it.

If you have a character folio or a t-shirt that allows you to reroll you can. I'd let you borrow one of mine but that doesn't work as well on PbP as it does in person. XD Otherwise you can try again next turn.

Gotcha. Only thing I have for special rolls is my Silver Crusade pin which I have sitting right here at my machine. Its pictured with my physical mini on my Chronicles evernote :)

From 10-12: Breath of the Dragonskull: Firebreaker: ....When you would fail a skill or ability check related to putting out a fire, or a saving throw against an effect that deals fire damage, you can check a box (out of two) that precedes this boon to reroll the check. This reroll represents the goblin rushing to your aid.

This is early notice that I will be on vacation from Wed 22 Jun through Mon 27 Jun. I will be camping at a music festival, and internet has historically been inaccessible via phones most of the time during the festival due to the amount of traffic. Looking over the notes, you find a list of books and page numbers. The writing looks relatively recent compared to the tomes stored in the sealed wing.

When the party is ready, they can begin researching the archive for clues! Normal research rules apply, 8 hours per check. Please let me know who is primary and who is secondary.

Appropriate skills are Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (planes), Linguistics, or Profession (librarian), while the wing grants a +4 on Knowledge checks.

Even with a -1 you’ll still get +3 due to the knowledge bonus. Plus I think Elby may be the only member of the party who can reach the books on the top shelf.

Edit: Forgot about ruling on the Research check not being limited by the skill type. So a couple auto-aids makes that 49, which would likely be the best we'll get.

I’d be able to auto aid (I’ve got +17), although if there are other members of the party who can also auto aid, I could do another primary researcher check just in case Patrick doesn’t confirm the crit or roles low for the knowledge point reduction (although I suspect both of those are very unlikely!).

Okay, go ahead and roll your check to see if it matters. Patrick can confirm his roll and roll his KP damage roll.

Based on my roll it definitely wouldn’t matter given I rolled a 1 on the knowledge reduction dice!

Now's the time; please put Mun on bot! The combat goal is to buff the crap out of both he and Selune with improved spell sharing, sending in Selune immediately while continuing to buff while she fights until there are no smart buffs left. If combat's not over by then, Mun is also buffed now, and can step in with his (reach) longspear or (adaptive) composite longbow. Mirror Image/Bull's strength all day. Other buffs as they make sense.

Selune is trained to use air walk.

Obviously, this primal/wild magic is a challenge; consider the value of buffs in light of that.

Can't have a convention PbP without website interruptions!

Bon Jon has a wand of Lesser Restoration with 6 charges if anyone can use it (or he can attempt UMD with +8). I'm also noticing that he has an antitoxin that he could take once combat was over; assuming that the poison was going to continue to impact him, he would have used this once combat was over - I'm not sure how many rounds that would have been or if it would have changed any of the results.

Since the delay poison lasts hours, it would be longer than the antitoxin benefits. Bon Jon could drink it immediately after the poison sets in and get a +5 on the second save.

As communal delay poison splits it’s time between everyone it’s cast on, the 7 hours would have been split across the group, so it would have only been an hour each.

Bon Jon will ask one of his friends to use his wand of CLW to heal whatever his total dmg is and I'll sort out what do about the poison once I know what its impact is.

Daratar offered to help with wands after the fight while he had his concentration buff still up. So he would have been able to help with the CLW wand.

Ah yes, I was thinking it was double caster level like life bubble.

Who want's the magic items we found? I'm guessing the scroll would be best going to Mun and maybe the cloak to someone who does big damage to guard against failing will saves?

Elby's cloak is only a +1 and you probably don't want her failing a will save.

Radiarch would be the other good candidate as a 5th level character without the funds to afford a +4. Bon Jon would only get an extra +2 out of the upgrade.

I only have a +1 cloak as well, Elby, but have a few other items to boost to 10 Will. Its my reflex that I'm particularly weak on that could use the boost. I'm okay with either one of us taking it.

Elby met 322 in 10-15, which is canonically after this. Not sure how you want that handled.

Bon Jon will pass on the cloak so that one of the lower level characters can take it.

Still trying to resolve the damage and str dmg from earlier.

Bon Jon had 15 dmg plus any received from the Fire reflex and the Engulf reflex.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

So, three charges off Bon Jon's wand.

Re the poison, assuming that Bon Jon used his antitoxin after the first failed save, each of the other rolls (posted earlier) would have had +5. So that would have left results of:

1st save: 16
2nd: 20
3rd: 15
4th: 25.

So far Bon Jon has 2 Str dmg (from the first failed save) and possibly more depending on what these results produced. He'll use his wand of Lesser Restoration to remove the Str dmg - I'll roll once I know the total amount of Str dmg.

Yep, Daratar can help with that. Here’s the concentration checks for using the wands (he’ll invoke his patron first to improve his concentration, and make sure they are away from the party and that everyone has secured themselves to something with rope, just in case everything flips upside down again):

concentration check: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34 Invoke patron.
concentration check: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (9) + 17 = 26 lesser restoration.
concentration check: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32 cure light wounds.
concentration check: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (14) + 17 = 31 cure light wounds.
concentration check: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22 cure light wounds.

Probably not wise, as if you are outside of the ritual you will not go with the party to the Dimension of Dreams.

Heighten Awareness is 10 minutes per level, so I don't think it will cover the entire ritual.

Sounds like a failed check and might cause terrible consequences! :)

To be clear, Elby does not need to contribute to the casting, just be a part of the ritual.

(Aid Another does not risk mishaps.)

Let me know if you are not aiding Patrick's checks and I will move us to the Dimension of Dreams. The ritual is a success no matter what but failed checks will cause stat penalties.
