Lady Ekaterina |

I think we houseruled that my hair scales of cha rahter then int, giving enabling me to manipulate object as if I had CHA=STR 29
Lady Ekaterinas hair gently holds her up. She goes out of her way to make this feel quite pleseant for the dark elf, without restraining her.
She approaches the Dark elf to even more gently embrace her, granting her her gift as her wings fold around her as well.
Can you hear me know? She telepaths, hopefully surmounting language barriers.
Pity I dont have tounges, is she feebleminded? She thinks to herself.
Ekaterina begins to properly search for ways to safely remove her "magic items".
Found another hostage, female dark elf, likely feebleminded. would be beyond my current ability to remove. Heal would certainly work, break enchantment may. Is affected by several likely cursed items. She telepaths to everyone in the link
Kazko, I am highly resistant to fire because half fiend, and I can plausibly use my hair to sift through the sand later. I would appreciate you expertize in resolving the manner of the dark elfen lady.
shackles should be safe to remove for me, I am worried about the collar having a "choke captive to death if removal attempted without the right pass phrase" though.
@GM what are appropriate kn. rolls to figure out more?

Domayoku |

The doorman shakes his head, with remorse he says, "There is a private party right now. They should be done in an hour. You could go hang out at those tables, we use them for public events. Sorry."
"Thank you". Domayoku nods and waits at the outside tables until the private party finishes up.

Lady Ekaterina |

Assuming I have the key on me that we found, if not i would ask for someone to fetch them
Ekaterina examines if any of these keys could be used to unlock either the manacles or the chocker.
She will also see if she can get some of her hair between the chocker and the captives throat, to have a way of at least postponing spontaneous strangulation via artifact.

![]() |

Kazko sighs at the magical sand and starts trying to just softly fish items to the top again.

Amadea |

Amadea waits for Dominique to return before braving the entrance to the treasure cavern.
Before getting too far into the chamber, she slows to a stop to survey the room. She pushes up with her tail to give herself a better view of the room, going from her usual 6 foot or so to nearly 9 feet off the ground. She casts Detect Magic and See Invisible, expecting to see numerous magical items, but more interested at the moment in looking for Traps and anything out of the ordinary.
Perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
That roll made me go back and make sure my Perception bonus was calculated correctly, and lo and behold, it wasn't. I either forgot to include my Class Skill bonus, or forgot to include my final Wisdom Bonus. Either way, it is +19 and not +16.
Seeing the man behind the ice wall, Amadea still does not cross into the chamber. She makes an active effort to discern that the man is real, and not an illusory bait to some sort of trap.
Will save to disbelieve: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
She'll wait on the results of those spells and checks before deciding her next action.

GM Wolf |

Sounds good Ekaterina.
As you give her the profane bonus and choose to give her intelligence, she focuses on telepathically speaking letting her body rest in the grasp of the hair.
I did not see languages spoken on Lady Ekaterina's sheet.
Spellcraft would be the best check, three in total. One for shackles, one for manacles, and one for the choker.
As you return the doorman let's you in to have a seat. A cute waitress in a smart outfit comes and asks, "What would you like to order?"
About 20 minutes pass by when a raven haired lady enters in a deep blue dress and holding roses. The roses are blue and black. She flashes her pearly whites and comes to sit across from you. She warmly asks, "I am glad you got my message. What is your name tall, dark, and mysterious man?"
One of the keys unlock the manacles and shakles. Then the dark elf shakes her head. Obviously more clear headed now. A few strands of hair can get between the chocker and her neck.
Kazko thinks he has found four or five glass objects but can't seem to get under them with his crowbar.
---
Amadea you do sense a few magical items to your right and left as you move the cone to just get a sense of how many. Maybe a dozen or two in magical items. You don't sense or see any traps or anything out of the ordinary except for the figure pounding on the wall. There is an invisible throne and chest. You don't believe the figure is an illusion.

Lady Ekaterina |

I do have a value point in Linguistics, but Ekaterina currently speaks Common, Abyssal, INfernal, Celestial and Fae, apparently prioritizing languages of possibly attractive winged outsiders
Linguistics to identify language: 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 20
spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 32 Shackles
spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 24 Manacles
spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 31 Choker
+2 heroism +2 tears to wine, have enough level 1 spell slots left for timely inspiration for another +2 if I fail

She would likely notice that Ekaterina tries to communicate and means her no harm.
Ekaterina phonetically writes down what she hears, and the attempts to decipher it, while also reading it out loud ot anyone in a link with her.
Ymmärrän.
Finnish for Elfen because why not.
Anyone understanding this language
Ekaterina repeats what the Elf is saying, phonetically, in all 3 of the girls languages, to the party.
Someone of us is bound to speak this! Well, once her feebleminded or whatever is fixed, she still gets the into bonus from my gift, giving her a skill point per level and plenty of room to expand her knowledge pool.

Ginza |

The Elven Undead speaks the languages you require.
Common, Elven, Goblin, Sylvan, Celestial, Draconic, Orc, Gnoll, Undercommon, Infernal. Am more then willing to act as translator.

![]() |

Kazko sends the message to the others "This may hurt..." as he drains a new elixir and then reaches both hands into the sand.
I drink an Elixer of Firebelly. It gives me Resist Fire 5. I then reach in and grab everything and fish around some more if needed.

Lady Ekaterina |

Ekaterina will happy use Ginza as a Translator.
Who are you? Do you know anything about the nature of the magic restraining you?
We are foes of your foes and will free you
I fear the chocker will try to kill you if I attempt removal, the more of my hair I get in between the better.
She slowly adjust her hair-semi-cocoon to be more comfortable. And moves towards Kazko.
Funny how my hair can hold much more then my arms could, I should starr in some shampoo commercials. Seriously doubt I can fly carring more then my weight with me hair, aerodynamics would not work out. She thinks to herself.
I would be unsurprised if key are in here, and I happen to be fire resistant innately.
Ekaterina would gladly assist Kazko, I can probably wrap some hair around your hands, as it should also be midly fire resistant. iirc Kazko has the best disable device?

GM Wolf |

[Spoilee=Domayoku]You believe her to be at least a noble. You believe she is impressed by your strength.[/spoiler]
New to Lady Ekaterina she not the translator at least this time.

"I am the darkness before the moon. In elven it is pronounced Elshahirah. I don't know about the items or magic, I had hands instead of claws before. Yes please help me, I would be grateful."

Domayoku |

The large warrior stands as the raven-haired lady comes forward to sit down, both sitting down.
"I am Domayoku, mighty warrior, monk of the Four Winds, and member of the Götterdämmerung guild. And you went through a great deal to set up this meeting", the half-fiend smiled graciously.Diplomacy: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (2) + 24 = 26

Lady Ekaterina |

My Name is Ekaterina, the one who speaks your language and translates is Ginza.
She pauses to think
By my assessment, the shackles confuse you and hamper your movement, the manacles are responsible for your claws instead of hands and the chocker prevents me from teleporting you out of your bonds. I guess that the manacles and the choker have additional properties which I failed to identify, as none of them, as I access them, should make you blind, which you however are.
She telepaths.
I am deeply worried that moving you, or removing your cursed items somehow wrongly, could trigger secondary effects aimed to kill you. There is divination magic in the walls, which could be triggered by moving you.
She explains further
Speaking of allies, given the massive effort those vile hags went through to restrain you, your abilities must be formidable, and I look forward to truely making your acquaintance once this is resolved and your freedom is restored.
The future should certainly look brighter
Lord Ginza, could you come over? Your expertize would be much appreciated She calls upon her more capable ally
I sincerly doubt that the hags gave you much to drink, may I offer you some? Our efforts will take some time, lets have you as comfortable as possible. Easing the hostages plight in the meantime.
Ekaterina, doing a rapunzel impression, rearranges her hair behind the drow, in the fashion of a comfy chair (while keeping as much hair as possible between the choker and her throat) in which the dark elf probably sinks in with some relief, and then slowly moves, upcasts tears to wine at level 2 for actually good wine, and gets the elfen lady some tears to wine booze, a very light wine in this case.
She keeps some for Ginza, perhaps not innaccurately pegging him as a Wino.
Ginza has 17 in spellcraft, which I can tears to wine, enchancement bonus rather then morale bonus, to 19, so he could take 20 for a 39, an assist boosting it over 40.

![]() |

I forgo any reflex saves.
Kazko slips the two items into his backpack and then reaches both hands in again to grab more items.

Ginza |

Hearing his ally's call, Ginza makes his way towards her.
Once he's reached where Ekaterina is, he asks.
"Lady Ekaterina what aid do you require from this chef?"

Lady Ekaterina |

Greetings Lord Ginza,
This prisoner of the hags is restrained by multiple cursed items, I do not believe that I corrcectly identified them, and require some assistance to remove them savely. She pauses
I believe I have the shackles figured out, permanent confusion and reduce movespeed to 5. Of the manacles, I know that they turn hands to claws, but they likely have a second aspect as well. Same for the choker, it is dimensional anchor, but our newest friend is clearly blind, and maybe feebleminded. I am expecting, just from paranoia, that the choker is also a strangulation device, perhaps triggered by the diviniation spells I believe to be active within the walls
Some wine, I believe it is one of your favorites? She hands him the waterskin with upcasted tears to wine.
She would also be assisting, which she cant fail, so ginza gets +4 to his spellcraft attempts.

GM Wolf |

She politely says, "Domayoku, it is nice to make your acquaintance. Yes I have need of a mighty warrior." She puts her bouquet of flowers down on the table and they all slowly turn color to red. She scoffs at the thought of going through a great deal for this meeting. Then she gets serious and with an intelligent glint in her eye says, "I have a proposition for you. I have several missions in mind should you succeed on the first the next mission will be presented to you. The first job is very simple take a package that will be delivered to you, to the address on the card. You will get paid after the even jobs, 50 gold and double it for the next payment. Are you interested?"
---
The dark elf opens her unseeind eyes and as she speaks Elven. Looking at Ekaterina she says, "E-kat-er-ina." Then looking at Ginza she asks, "Are you Elven Ginza?"
She responds with, "I am blind, but also befuddled and unnaturally slow in action." Then nods with your assessment of her situation.
She drinks the offered wine with appreciation and lacks her lips, then relays, "I have other needs as well. But more akin to the succubus. But alas we should wait. I do wait in anticipation for a proper meeting. "
---
Kazko claims two more glass containers and then pulls out an obsidian skull with large rubies for eyes. Fire damage: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 2) = 10 Then Will save DC 32.
If you refuse it doesn't connect with you.
Soon another presence comes with a similar request.
If you continue to resist you find 13 spirits. Then an understanding that the only easy way out is to accept one of the spirits.
The emotions you felt were in this order: lust, wrath, gluttony, pride, envy, anger, sloth, slithering, vengeful, creeping, damnation, torment, slaughter.
With Ginza's aid Can't take a 10 or 20: 2d20 ⇒ (14, 6) = 20 he is able to say that the manacles are cursed with slowness as well, so you could assume the blindness comes from the choker.

Domayoku |

Domayoku considers the proposal. "Yes, in so much, that these missions do not interfere with my guild duties. Will you at least tell me what kingdom you are from?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (1) + 24 = 25Sense Motive: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18

Lady Ekaterina |

Needs akin to a Succubus? This should be humorous. You may find yourself pleseantly surprised once we return your sight to you. Ginza story is somewhat complex
@GM so, we have 3 keys, but dont really know what does what, Ginza has 17 spellcraft,19 if he still counts as elf, 21 with tears to wine, If I get to assist him 23?

GM Wolf |

She keeps it vague but says, "I come from a small kingdom in the far North you likely haven't heard of it, Zicoram. We focus in trading the coffee bean. It doesn't grow nearly anywhere else. Though that also lets us have a thriving trading business. Of course and if you don't want to do a specific mission let me know." Domayoku you believe she is being truthful and sincere.

Elshahirah Lunar |

The dark elf breaks a smile then explains, "I can see your aura, it is similar to mine. Whereas Ginza I see the faint aura of an elf being drowned out by a deep blue aura."
Yup, got you covered with my last post. Thanks for clarification Ekaterina. Only one key works... on the shackles I think... I can't remember which.
Then she adds, "Go ahead and try to rip off the choker or break the manacles, they wouldn't know how to kill me or want to. They were siphoning off my energy."

Lady Ekaterina |

Kazko, can you lend us a hand with the locks?
She asks verbally.

![]() |

Will Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 Not a natural 20.
I would resist the first couple. Lets randomly decide how impatient I get.
Which one I cave on: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
So Anger it is. Which would work for the scenerio and my barbaric nature. I will accept that spirit.

Ginza |

"I still have my elven abilities even in this form." Ginza attempts a smile but it really doesn't come out well. Being that one can't see and the other will only see a grinning skull in his real form.
Assisting with spellcraft as he sips the wine offered to him, he examines the magical items on their newest friend with his own abilities in detecting magic.
Spellcraft +17
Add +2 for Elven Racial magic.
"Rather then breaking or shattering these manacles, it'll be better to call another of our companions who is skilled in removing these devices from your person. It'll be the best for your well being."

Ginza |

Nice. +21 to spellcraft then.

Amadea |

Amadea carefully approaches the ice wall, looking around for ambush points, just in case the figure is meant to be a distraction.
"You had better not be a Nibelungen," She whispers to herself.
A few thoughts tumbled through her mind as she aoproached the wall. While capable of many things, bringing down an ice wall could prove a challenge for Amadea. She could dispell it, were it to prove a mystical barrier, but melting it might be beyond her. Perhaps she could locate a flaming weapon, or teleport back to the keep to find one.
Once reaching the wall, she addresses the creature, raising her voice to carry through the ice. "Hello, and you are?"

Domayoku |

"What type of communication will you be using between us?" Domayoku asks, resting back in his chair. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (7) + 24 = 31

GM Wolf |

Amadea/Dominic
The voice is muted as you can tell he is shouting as well, "Hello! I am Gem a Djinni! Release me and I will grant you two wishes."
This noble creature stands nearly twice as tall as a human, dressed in noble attire.
Domayoku
She says, "Mostly through letters, they will be marked by blue wax and the inprint of a rose. I will only be in Amberville for another day. Unless you have another way to communicate?"
For this meeting with the contact, you only need the first diplomacy check as the check is for a few minutes of interaction.
In the Witches Lair

GM Wolf |

Amadea k planes is needed to check its race and features.
He shouts out, "Once you free me we will go over the particulars."
Looking around you think you see a lever to wither side both about 15 feet away. You also notice that Dominique has not taken notice or interest in the figure. He keeps looking for items.
---
Kazko Will save DC 22: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
He calms down and sits next to Ginza. Now I leave it up to Kazko to respond.
Lady Ekatrina moved around to the center of the room staying well away from Ginza and Kazko.

Domayoku thinks about it. "Well, I have an imp, but she's currently wayward." I need to finish making that rogue imp of Domayoku's soon. "Until then, the mail is fine. Any questions for me?"

Amadea |

Kn:Planes: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
"In the world I came from, D'jinn granted wishes to those that captured them, as opposed to those that free them. Is it different here?"
Amadea waves Dominque over, wishing to get a second set of eyes on what appears to be something inconsistent in the creature's appearance.

GM Wolf |

She shakes her head, "No other questions but the imp could come in handy. Until the next time I bid you ado."
---
He does appear to be a dijinn. He could be a noble dijinn who are able to grant three wishes a day to their captors. Immune acid, they are slow but have great flight. It can use the following spells: invisibility (self only), plane shift (willing targets to elemental planes, Astral Plane, or Material plane.) It can also cast some other minor spells.

![]() |

Kazko drops the skull and says, "That one...is dangerous. What happened?"

Lady Ekaterina |

Ginza, do not attack him, he got possessed by something, I charmed him to stand down. She telepaths to Ginza and Elshahirah.
That skull looks rather creepy indeed, lets not find out what happens if I get possessed by a Lust spirit shall we?
Also, lets carefully free Mrs. Elshahirah, perhaps she can do something to assist regarding the skull?
Kn. stuff: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26 Do I know anythign about that skull?

Ginza |

Ginza looks at Kazo as he bites him with extreme prejudice.
"Hungry?" the Undead Elf asks. Shuffling around to see if he could pass him some of the pastries he had made while in town.
Lol. Hmm for kicks I could pick them all up and berate them all for attempting to possesses my friends. Cause no Emotion lol.
Spellcraft 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 25
Ginza studies the Skull as well.
With that done after having learnt all that he can from it.
He turns his attention back to helping their newest companion get rid of her restraints.

![]() |

Kazko will take the pastry and look at the chest. "I think there may still be more items in the chest, but I am not sure. If they are like the skull it may be dangerous getting them out."

Domayoku |

She shakes her head, "No other questions but the imp could come in handy. Until the next time I bid you ado."
Domayoku gets up from the table, and goes to find the other guild members.

Lady Ekaterina |

Certainly, Sir Kazko, Sir Ginza, may I avail myself of your assistance in the matter? Further investigating the chest should likely wait until we do not have a bound prisoner waiting to be rescued here. We may as well just take the entire chest with us, and investigate it safely in our secured base of operations.
Ekaterina proposes.
Let us see about "other needs" you have once we are back to our base. I believe I can spare one of my bedrooms for your perusal. Sir Ginzas many talents incidentally include a true mastery of cooking.
Do you prefer Silk or Satin? And would you rather have a Balkony or a view of the botanic garden?

Ginza |

"Certainty. We can wait. I do believe Kazko's skills will be much needed here." he points towards the shackles.
"These are magically cursed and have likely other triggered attached to them. Could you take them off without triggering their other protections?"

Amadea |

"Dominique, does anything seem wrong with this situation? It feels like there is something off, but I can't quite put my finger on it."
"Should we free him?
