The accuracy of Kita's shot is a sight to behold. Not only did she manage to wound another of the rat catchers, but the bullet penetrated the thug and carried on into the already wounded tough behind him.
While the first victim is hurt, the second was not ready for such a stunt and falls flat onto the floating boardwalk - dead

Rosaleen thought she was dying. She was doubled over in pain from the bullet wound. As she quietly whimpered due to the pain, she heard and felt Mohammad speak a word that seemed directed at her. Seconds later, she felt the bullet work its way out of her body and her wound began to heal. She felt almost as good as new and slowly got to her feet.
